//-------------------------------------------------------// My Diamond Tiara -by ZombieBronyTart- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// My Diamond //-------------------------------------------------------// My Diamond I park my black 2015 Challenger SXT in my driveway. I grab my promotional Sodapalooza Race Trac cup. I take a step onto the pavement and and sigh in both joy and exhaustion. I pull my house keys out of my black leather jacket inner pocket and walk to the front door of my condo, only to see a small, wicker picnic basket sitting on my stoop. Not thinking about it much, I pick it up and unlock my door. My condo is three bedrooms, two bathrooms with a sitting room, giant kitchen, small living room and an oak wood deck in the back. I walk into my living room, set the basket on the coffee table and sit on the sectional couch I've has for three years. Being twenty-one and a brony, I've been living alone since the airing of Season 2 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I'm not a closet brony, and I've been to bronycon before, and some of my friends- who aren't bronies- have gone to the convention with me out of lack of things to do on vacation time. I open the wicker basket and find something I would never have imagined would be possible- a sleeping, foal Diamond Tiara! My favorite character from my little pony is sleeping in a wicker basket, wrapped up in a pink blanket that was a little darker than her fur, sucking a pacifier with a note on the blanket saying, "Give to a good home." Living in a small neighborhood in the outskirts of Sarasota, I never had many things that I could do without an hour long drive. But now, with this tiny foal sleeping in my living room, I have something to do0 look after her. I watch as she wakes up, and introduce myself. "Hi, my name's Matthew," I say in a calm, slow voice. "Before you freak out, I found you on my doorstep in the middle of the night asleep, and it's only forty degrees outside. I did the only thing I could think of- bringing you inside." Diamond's silent, other than the hyperventilating. I spend the rest of the night giving her the "grand tour" of my tiny condo. I show her my mess of a room- rather, where I spend half my day working on random shit like builds in Minecraft. I keep her out of the master bedroom, where there's so much junk n the ground, she'd never be seen again. After the tour of my home, the filly's seemed to not fear me- but instead, act like a pet just wander around, that is, until she climbed back in her basket and went to sleep, still sucking on the pacifier. <----> It's been three months since I let Diamond Tiara into my home. Both of us have taken a linking to the morning cartoons such as The Fairly Odd Parents, Spongebob Squarepants, and any other random junk that TV has today. I've been sleeping on the couch with DT for the time,and- after giving her some lessons on how to read and speak English- has asked for her own room. She is getting a little big, and the other two rooms are empty except for one of them with a hammock-chair thing. I can give her her own room. And a hammock. As of now, Diamond Tiara is lying next to me, using the crook of my elbow as a pillow and watching me play Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. She seems to have a liking for that game. If only she could play it with me...
