                        The Dreams

The Dreams
     Aglypha was in the manor at the edge of the kingdom. It was passed down to her by her parents, Heirloom and Fate, before they died. She had lived alone, but then secretly allowed an orphan pegasus, named Lady-beetle, to live with her. She was strange, but never let it bother her. A charm made Beetle invisible to everyone but Aglpha herself. Currently, the younger filly was sleeping on the marble tiles. For some reason, Beetle enjoyed water more than air, perhaps due to her crippled wings.  An empty pail was next to Lady-beetle's head, and Aglypha sighed, her green eyes falling to the cot where Lady-beetle could have slept, now dusty and unkempt. Speaking of sleep, Aglypha shifted in her own bed, and saw the bright moon of Luna in the sky, a silver eye, looking down upon her people. Someday, I will fly to the moon and welcome it's eye back to our land, like what happened in the old myth of Geb, when he created a current to the moon and gave it life. She smiled dreamily, and fell asleep.
