The door to Fluttershy's cabin opened, and in walked a very exhausted pegasus. Fluttershy and her friends had been called by Princess Celestia yet again to save Equestria from some monster that would have certainly brought doom to the whole world, had they not taken care of this.
None of this mattered to the small white rabbit glaring at the pegasus as she walked in.
"Oh, um, hello Angel... Sorry it took so long." Fluttershy apologized, but the rabbit was having none of that, he tapped his leg on the floor impatiently. "What's wrong, Angel?"
The bunny slapped his face with a paw, and slowly drug it down his face. Once his paw was gone, you could tell from his facial expression he was not happy. Angel pointed at his stomach, and then lifted up an empty bowl, before throwing it at Fluttershy.
Fluttershy ducked to avoid the bowl, "Oh, I'm sorry, Angel. I forgot to get your cherry salad."
The bunny began menacingly walking towards her, Fluttershy matched each of his steps forwards with a step backwards.
"B-but that's okay, right?" Fluttershy stammered in fear.
One glance at Angel's eyes told her the answer to that particular question.
'Nope.'
Angel backed Fluttershy up against the door, and then hopped onto her muzzle. The cute white rabbit was anything but it's description at this moment. Fluttershy cowered back when she saw the rabbits eyes pulse red, before returning to normal.
'Who kept you from serving me, slave?' Angel asked with his eyes, when Fluttershy didn't immediately respond, he promptly jumped, and slapped her across the muzzle.
"Ow!"
'WHO?' the rabbits eyes bore into Fluttershy's very soul, making it impossible for her to resist his command.
"P-P-Princess C-C-Celestia." Fluttershy stammered. She then flinched as the rabbit jumped down off of her muzzle.
The bunny picked Fluttershy up in one paw and threw her across the room, she crashed into a wall sending tremors throughout the entire house. The door was the next victim of the bunny's wrath, having been broken from it's hinges by a single kick from the small white rabbit.
"W-wait, Angel! What are you doing?" Fluttershy shouted in concern as the rabbit hopped out the door. The rabbit stopped, and his head turned halfway around his head, and his eyes glared at the one who would dare question him.
'I'm going to fix this problem, slave.' Angels eyes communicated the meaning quite easily as they pulsed with a evil red light.
The rabbit slowly smiled, revealing teeth and fangs, before turning around, and jumping into the sky, leaving a crater in his wake.
"Angel!" Fluttershy shouted as she ran out the door. She looked up at the rapidly vanishing form of the small rabbit heading straight up into the sky. The rabbit made a quick turn straight for Canterlot and shot off at speeds which would rival Rainbow Dash, leaving a red trail in his wake.
"I have to tell Twilight!" Fluttershy exclaimed as she quickly took off running as fast as her hooves would allow her.
As Fluttershy ran through Ponyville, heads turned from whatever it was they were doing to watching the concerned pegasus run faster than she ever had before. They quickly returned to their previous task, once they realized it was probably just another threat facing the entire world. 'Just another Tuesday.' they thought.
Fluttershy was so concerned with getting to Twilight's Castle that she wasn't paying attention. Her attention was quickly restored however as she ran right into a rainbow maned pegasus. "Oof."
"Hey! Watch it- Fluttershy?" Rainbow slowly stood to her hooves and rubbed her head with a hoof.
"R-Rainbow? I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there." Fluttershy quickly apologized.
"It's okay, it'll take more than getting knocked over to take me out!" Rainbow forgave her as she leaped into the air and quickly performed a loop before hovering and pointing at herself as she finished her sentence.
"Y-yeah, I guess you're right."
"So what's the rush anyway, Fluttershy?" Rainbow asked as she landed back to the ground, something she rarely did.
"It-it's Angel Bunny!" Fluttershy looked Rainbow Dash in the eyes, and tears started forming in her own. "He-he..." Fluttershy was unable to finish, having broken down and sobbing now.
"There... There... Fluttershy... I'm sure.. Whatever it is... It'll be fine..." Rainbow awkwardly attempted to comfort the mare who was hugging her for dear life. Rainbow slowly patted her back with a hoof, her wings still stiff from the shock of the sudden hug.
"He... He just... Mad... Prin... Prin... Celestia... Danger..." Fluttershy spoke in between sobs.
"What about Princess Celestia?" Rainbow asked confused.
"Fluttershy? Rainbow Dash? What's going on darlings? Why is Fluttershy crying?" Rarity asked as she quickly approached the two from across the street.
"I don't know, Rarity. She literally ran into me, and broke down. Something about Angel being mad and Princess Celestia."
"Oh, Fluttershy, it'll be alright." Rarity cooed into her ear.
"N-no it... won't be..." Fluttershy softly spoke, sniffling occasionally, having mostly regained her composure.
"Well of course it will be, we're your friends, we'll help you with anything you need, Fluttershy!" Rainbow smiled, one which Fluttershy was happy to return.
"I-I guess..."
"So what's all this about Fluttershy?" Rarity asked.
"Angel... He... I was held off by having to deal with the monster attack, and I forgot to get him his salad on the way back..."
"Please continue, Fluttershy."
"He... He forced me to tell him what took me so long, so- So I told him that I had to fight a monster with my friends for Prin-cess Celestia,"
Rainbow and Rarity both looked at each other, Rainbow was giving Rarity an 'Are you serious.' look. Rarity jabbed Rainbow with a hoof, Rainbow glared at her for a second before returning her eyes to the timid pegasus.
"He... He slapped me and told me he was going to go fix the problem..."
"Wait wait wait. Let me get this right. A bunny slapped you. And you're worried about Angel going to Princess Celestia." Rainbow wanted to facehoof at that, but resisted, if only because it was Fluttershy.
"Y-You don't understand, Angel... He's special..." Fluttershy looked at Rainbow, and then at Rarity, "We need to go get Twilight and get to Canterlot at once, it may already be... too... late..." Fluttershy trailed off looking off in the distance at Canterlot, the red streak from the bunny was no longer visible.
"Alright then, Fluttershy. We'd better go." Rarity helped Fluttershy to her hooves, and the trio made their way to Twilight's Castle without incident.
"Twilight! There you are!" Rarity exclaimed after catching sight of the pretty purple pony princess. "Oh, hi spike." she said as the small, adolescent dragon stepped out from behind her, carrying a stack of books three times as tall as Princess Celestia without breaking a sweat.
"Hi, Rarity!" Spike exclaimed and waved with one claw. It promptly became a mistake as the tower of books became unstable and immediately collapsed.
"Spike!" Twilight exclaimed and caught the book tower in her magic, and teleported the books into a pocket dimension. Her choice of dimension was sure to annoy a certain Spirit of Chaos.
Spike grumbled in the background as he walked off back towards the Castle's library.
"Hi, girls." Twilight greeted them with a smile, "What brings you here?"
"It's Angel Bunny, apparently." Rainbow deadpanned, earning a glare from Rarity.
"What she means to say is Angel Bunny seems to have it out for Princess Celestia." Rarity corrected.
Twilight's smile immediately inverted into a frown, and her eyes became as large as the sun. "WHAT!?" she shouted. Several towns away a large sonic boom was heard, and trees were knocked over and ponies would swear they heard a voice.
"This. Is. Bad." Twilight's mane was starting to fray. "Very bad." Twilight started pacing back and forth. "Very. Very bad." she suddenly stopped, looked at Fluttershy, smiled, lit her horn and reappeared beside the pegasus. Her smile was disturbing both Rarity and Fluttershy to no ends.
"Fluttershy, please tell me WHAT IN TARTARUS YOU DID TO MAKE THAT DEMON MAD!?" Fluttershy cowered back and hid in her mane.
"Um, Twilight, don't you think that's a bit much?" Rainbow asked. Another teleport later and Twilight was muzzle to muzzle withe the pegasus, shooting daggers at her with her eyes.
"Don't you think that's a bit much." Twilight repeated sarcasticly, then laughed, "NO!" she shouted, knocking Rainbow into the wall.
Two more teleports later and Rainbow was returned to her position, albeit more sorely, and Twilight was back by Fluttershy. "Eyes glowing red?"
"Eyes glowing red." Fluttershy repeated as an answer.
"Muzzle slap?"
"Muzzle slap."
"Broken door?"
"Broken door."
"Red flight trail?"
"Red flight trail."
"Crater from takeoff?" with each question Twilight moved her head closer to the timid mare, who immediately retracted her head back to match the distance Twilight came forwards.
"Crater from takeoff."
"Raining alligators?"
"Raining- wait what?"
Twilight blinked. And then blinked again. She sighed solemnly, "Girls, we need to get to Canterlot." Twilight lit her horn and instantly the four were teleported to Sweet Apple Acres.
"Oh, hi there Twilight, Fluttershy, Rari-" Applejack was cut off by another teleport, and the five appeared in Sugar Cube Corner.
Pinkie Pie immediately latched onto Twilight's neck, drawing each of them into a group hug. "Yay! Now that we're all here, let's go save the day again!"
"Can't. Breath." Twilight said in between gasps for breath.
"Then inhale, silly filly." Pinkie giggled as she let them go.
Another flash of magic and Twilight teleported the six friends to the outskirts of Canterlot.
The devastation was immense. Buildings had collapsed, fires were burning everywhere, and Royal Guards were in fetal positions along the sides of the streets. The latter looked like they had broken a pinkie promise.
The guards were mumbling to themselves, apparently reliving the horrors of the battle that had taken place here. "Nice bunnies... Happy bunnies... No... NO!" one guard suddenly shouted and ran over to Princess Twilight Sparkle, "RUN PRINCESS! RUN! SAVE YOURSELVES! THERE's NO HOPE!" the guard suddenly fell over, and rolled up into a ball and began sobbing.
"Uh..." Rainbow was at a loss for words.
"What..." Rarity was also unable to process what was happening.
"Quickly! To the throne room, we might not have much time!" Twilight took off at a gallop towards Canterlot Castle.
The journey there was fought with many horrors, they had to dodge collapsing buildings, angry mobs, singing mobs, one of which was singing something like "It's the end of Equestria as we know it..." the worst part, however, were the bat demons constantly swooping down trying to pick them up. Twilight noted that someone had opened up a rift to Tartarus, and she had a fairly good idea who.
After dodging countless demons, angry mobs, singing mobs, and buildings, they made it to the Castle. The Castle was remarkable untouched, probably having something to do with the large yellow dome surrounding it. 'Princess Celestia's handiwork.' Twilight noted.
A loud roar was heard, they all turned their heads in sync to see that dragons had showed up to join in on the end of the world. Several hundred dragons were now circling the mountain Canterlot was built on, the sky was darkening and a eerie orange glow was taking hold.
The moon started to rise from the east, and then blocked out the sun shortly thereafter. "What in the Tartarus is going on, Twilight!" Applejack exclaimed.
"Angel bunny..." Fluttershy lamented.
"He's already taken control of the celestial mechanisms..." Twilight sighed.
"Um, excuse me girls, but uh, shouldn't we do something about THAT?" Rarity asked as she pointed a hoof at a legion of demons who had assembled on a stage, led by Queen Chrysalis. The singing started next, "This day is going to be perfect..." Chrysalis took the form of Tirek, and Discord popped onto stage, the next line all on stage sang, "The day I have dreamed of since I was young..."
Twilight shuddered.
Pinkie's tail twitched. Her eyes widened "Twitchy tail!"
Everybody looked up just in time to see a book fall on Twilight's head. After Twilight regained her composure she picked the book up and read the title. "Fifty Shades of Hay?" Twilight opened the book, her face started to turn red, and then she burnt the book to ashes.
"What was that Twilight?" Applejack asked.
"Something which should never see the light of day." Twilight replied as she fidgeted on her hooves.
"Um, shouldn't we try to help Princess Celestia?" Fluttershy asked. "That is, if that's okay... with you.."
"Right." Twilight lit her horn, and teleported them into the throne room.
"Sister!" Luna exclaimed while dodging another blast of fire from a demon, while retaliating with a blast of magic, "What the Tartarus is going on here!?"
At the mention of Tartarus, the white bunny hissed, showing it's fangs, and it's eyes glowed red. All the demons instantly moved to attack Luna too.
"And what is that white thing doing all of this!?" Luna quickly added.
"I have no clue!" Celestia shouted in reply.
A popping sound and a flash of light alerted the entire room to the new arrivals.
Twilight and company looked around the room in shock at the sight that greeted them. It looked like Tartarus itself had relocated into the throne room. Demons flew about shooting magic and fire at the walls and floor, and the two alicorn princess sisters in the room. They quickly started targeting the new arrivals too.
"Angel! Stop this at once!" Fluttershy shouted.
Angel bunny hissed, and his eyes pulsed red, he opened his mouth, and out shot several demons, who quickly attacked Fluttershy.
Twilight's quick thinking saved them from the demons as she raised a magical barrier blocking the demons' attacks.
"Twilight, what the Tartarus is going on!?" Celestia shouted. Twilight recoiled from hearing Celestia use that word in that sense.
"It's Angel Bunny!" She shouted back.
The demons started swirling around in the Air above Angel Bunny, the room darkened, and a eerie orange glow was taking over. Somehow dark, menacing clouds were forming. Lightning started striking the floor and pillars.
"What is this madness?" Pinkie Pie shouted. Even she had her limits.
The yellow barrier protecting the castle popped. A few seconds later a singing mob broke through the wall, which should've been impossible, as the throne room was not on ground level. The singing mob was chanting "Stop the bats! Stop the bats!"
As quickly as the mob broke through the first wall, they broke through the opposite wall and kept on going.
"So that happened." Rainbow confirmed.
"How do we fix this?" Applejack asked.
All eyes in the room, including that of the demons and Angel turned to Twilight.
"Why is it ALWAYS me!?" Twilight complained.
"You're the bearer of the Element of Magic, my most faithful student, and the Princess of Friendship, you're smart, take a guess!" Celestia sharply replied.
"Um... Um... Um..." Twilight chanted.
Angel Bunny quickly hissed at Twilight and his eyes changed to slits, and they glowed red.
"Where did you even find that thing!?" Rarity gasped.
"I found him in the Everfree Forest when he was just a baby... He was the cutest red, glowing eyes, white furred bunny I had ever seen." Fluttershy cooed.
Angel Bunny hissed again, and sprouted wings. Angel jumped at Fluttershy and hovered in the air in front of her. He slapped her across the muzzle to the right.
Then to the left.
Then to the right again.
The others blinked.
Then to the left again.
"Do something Twilight!" Rainbow exclaimed.
Twilight shook herself out of her state, and grabbed angel in her magic, and flew it across the room at Princess Celestia. "DO SOMETHING PRINCESS!"
Princess Celestia caught the rabbit in her magic. The rabbit's head turned in a one-eighty to look at her. She took a step back, and her head darted about left and right, looking for something. She spotted Luna, and threw the rabbit at her. "DO SOMETHING LUNA!"
Luna caught the rabbit in her magic and inhaled, preparing the Royal Canterlot Voice. "Fus..." "RO DAH!"
The force of her voice threw the rabbit against the wall. The rabbit quickly jumped out of the perfect impression in the wall and lasers shot out of his eyes at Princess Luna.
"ALL IS LOST, FLEE!" Luna shouted, and started running around.
"What do we do now, Twilight?" Pinkie asked.
"I pinkie promise the next sentence I say is the truth." Twilight paused, "What I just said was a lie."
Pinkie's mane immediately deflated, she glared at Twilight.
"Go fix that, and I'll unbreak my pinkie promise." Twilight pointed at Angel Bunny, who by this time was lifting Princess Celestia with one paw and flipping her against the ground back and forth.
Pinkie Pie pulled a party cannon out of her mane, and fired herself at Angel, the rabbit didn't even feel her impact, and Pinkie was deflected back to the cannon.
"Mercy!" Princess Celestia begged as her body collapsed against the pillar Angel had thrown her against. The rabbit slowly hopped over to her. Once in front of Princess Celestia's battered form, he flared his eyes red, and glared at her.
One look gave her the answer she dreaded.
'No.'
Princess Celestia flinched as the small rabbit slapped her across the muzzle. The bat demons swooped down and picked the Alicorn up and flew back through the swirling vortex of doom.
Angel bunny turned around and glared at Twilight. One look was enough for her to surrender.
PRINCESS CELESTIA DEFEATED BY DEMON BUNNY, local nobles say the unexpected end of the world won't stop them from complaining about high taxes.
