The night was silent as the moon traveled slowly along is course. Luna sighed as she stood guard over the night. “Nothing ever happens of a night. Everypony either sleeps or stays indoors. The only time they ever truly appreciate the night sky is when I make the stars dance for them.” She stated and moved to the balcony outside her room. “just once it would be nice to see others just stop and admire the stars.”

Sighing, Luna looked towards the stars. “They truly are beautiful. The time, the effort, It truly was worth it just to be able to see such marvelous creations.” She smiled as she watched the stars. Her smile faded, however, as she noticed that one of the stars was moving ever so slightly away from its intended course. “Now that’s odd. I could have sworn that star was supposed to be moving the opposite direction.”Moving back into her room Luna pulled out the current star charts and confirmed the stars positions to where they should be moving. “ok so that star should be slightly to the right.” She glanced at where the star was supposed to be and noticed that it was in the correct position. “that cant be right…I just saw it over there.” She said as she looked back at the original positioning. The star was still there. “how odd…I never made a new star. And it isn’t moving on a set course either…” focusing on the star,Luna sent forth a tendril of magic to try and connect with the star.recoiling from the touch, it quickly sheltered itself from her magic.

The tendril quickly retreated back to Luna, who was both shocked and slightly frightened at this new event. No star had ever refused her touch nor had it ignored her before. Trying once more, Luna sent out a more powerful tendril of magic and this time intended to force the star to obey her.

“Stop what you are doing at once!” she commanded. “I am Princess Luna and you will obey me” the star just ignored her. “Did you not hear me? I am your ruler and you will do as I command or you shall suffer the consequences.” Again the star did not respond nor did it bow to her wishes. “so be it. You leave me no choice but to force you to meet my demand.” Sending forth more power,Luna grasped the star and began to halt its movement. Moving the star towards an empty place in the sky she took notice that it was much lighter than any other star she had moved before. It was also closer than she remembered that they were.

Releasing her hold on the star, Luna began to retreat he magic back toward herself.to her surprise the star had both dimmed greatly and was beginning to fall. “that cannot be good” she stated and watched as the star fell from the sky completely. “oh no…Tia is going to have my head for this” cried Luna as she ran from the room, the star finally hitting the ground.

The Explosion was magnificent. As the star hit the ground it torn up an enormous amount of the surrounding land. Flinging everything in every possible direction, the explosion was akin to a bomb being dropped on loose gravel and dirt. The light from the explosion lit the surrounding landscape for a short time before dissipating just as quickly, leaving an annoyed and rather pained Youn in the middle of the impact crater.

“I know I just fell from orbit but was it too much to ask that I land on my backside instead of my neck?” I asked the Universe. “Where am I anyway?” I pondered and began trying to climb out of the crater.

Scrambling to the side of the crater I began to try crawling my way up slowly. To my dismay it was all soft dirt and I was clearly unable to climb out. Sitting back down I pondered possible solutions. Kicking the ground in frustration I moved back towards the wall of the crater. “I’ll beat you yet” I stated, glaring at the dirt. Trying my luck again I firmly lodged my feet into the loose dirt and began to climb by digging into the dirt and using my arms to secure my positioning and my legs to move forward. It took a fair while but I made it to the top of the crater wall. Turning back towards the crater I raised my hands in the air and proudly shouted about my victory over the wall of dirt. After I finished shouting about my victory to the local plant life I noticed that I happened to be in a forest of some description. “Well at least it’s not wet and noisy” I thought and checked out my surroundings. Aside from a lot of dirt and a few trees that had fallen over it wasn’t that odd a place. “it may not be wet but it sure feels like a rainforest” I said as I took of my jacket and flung it over my shoulders. “I don’t think I'm going to get anywhere in this darkness.” I sighed.

Looking towards the night sky I got a clear view of the moon and stars. “Odd how pretty the night is when there are no lights to ruin it” I said, a small smile on my face. “Even after falling from it I still prefer it over the city lights”

I wandered over to a fallen tree and sat down next to it. “well I might as well try and sleep. After all its not like I can do anything tonight and I doubt the local wildlife would be likely to try and find out what made that crater.” Leaning against the tree I closed my eyes and attempted to drift off to sleep.

Luna had left the Castle to find the fallen star. It had fallen in the Everfree Forest. “it shouldn’t be too hard to find. After all with an impact like that it will have made a large clearing” she thought. She had flown off to the Everfree and was in the process of locating a clearing that looked like it was freshly created. Noticing a large clearing that had looked as if fresh dirt had just been scattered, Luna landed a short ways away from it and proceeded to make her way towards it by hoof. Approaching the clearing Luna took notice of a creature leaning against a log and slowly made her way towards it.

I had been resting my eyes, still trying to get some sleep and failing miserably. Eventually I just gave up and shouted my annoyance out towards the sky. I stopped abruptly as I noticed a purple horse staring at me. I stared back at it.we both remained like this for a solid minute before it looked down towards the ground. “ha I win” I shouted towards the horse which actually gave me a look of surprise. “oh” I though “looks like I startled you…sorry about that” I said and made my way towards it. I extended my hand towards it and was about to pat its head when it turned sharply. It hit my hand with what looked like a horn. The strike had drawn blood. “well that wasn’t very nice…” I said to it. It looked at me with shock. “that hurt you know…” I told it. Truth be told it was only a small cut but the creature had clearly struck me due to fear. “just be nice” I told it and again tried to pat its head. This time however it push forward and shoved me with its full body force. This knocked the wind out of me and threw me to the ground.i landed on my jacket and it tore along the sleeves.

That was it for me. I was not going to let a unicorn beat me like this. I stood up and started yelling at it. “THAT WAS MY FAVORITE JACKET YOU KNOW” I shouted “ FIRST YOU STRIKE ME WITH THAT HORN OF YOURS THEN YOU KNOCK ME TO THE GROUND AND RUIN MY JACKET. I WILL NOT JUST SIT HERE AND LET YOU DO AS YOU WISH” I picked up my jacket from the ground and started waving it in front of it “DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW HARD THIS WILL BE TO FIX?!!” I started to approach it and continued my rant “THIS THING IS ONE OF THE ONLY THINGS I HAVE HERE AND ALREADY ITS BEEN RUINED” I was now in front of it. Clearly it was frightened by me and I was fine with that. It had just ruined my jacket and I wasn’t about to just let it feel fine for that. I waved the jacket in its face and was about to continue my rant when I was blasted away from it by an unseen force. It threw me back with so much force that I lost my grip on the jacket as I was flung towards the downed tree.

I struck the tree with a resounding thud. My head was swimming and I was struggling to even stand after that strike. Slumping back to the ground I looked at it and made one final comment before going out to it “well played” I mumbled and out went the lights.
