Apple of my Eye
Together Again
Previous ChapterNext ChapterThe sun was beating mercilessly down on you again, and you found yourself sweating profusely as Rarity led you to the Apple Family Farm. You wiped a few beads of sweat from your brow, then flung them away only to feel a few more trickle down seconds later. Today... was absolutely scorching. Nonetheless, you were here to try and talk to Big Mac under Rarity's rather... unsublte suggestion. Of course, try being the key word here.
"Say Rarity?" You asked, panting slightly from the heat.
"Yes dear?" She responded, seemingly not affected in the least.
"What if Big Mac is mad at me, and he doesn't want me at the farm ever again? What if that was why he didn't tell me to work today?"
Rarity matched your pace and placed a hand on your shoulder. "If that were true, trust me. You wouldn't be walking up here with me."
You gulped. "I see."
Rarity giggled in mild amusement. "You're cautious, maybe even cowardly, yet bold when it matters. You're also bright, a fast learner, and a caring soul. Anybody like that is always welcome on Big Macintosh's farm."
"How am I bold and a caring soul? Because, I'll agree with you on the intelligent and fast learning part." You conceded.
"When you stopped Scootaloo from crashing herself into a large hospital bill, that was both caring and brave was it not?" Rarity inquired.
You pondered that for a bit. "Yeah, I guess so. But I couldn't just let that happen! If I hadn't have stopped it, wouldn't you or Applejack have tried? Even though you two were further off than me, I know at least Applejack could have easily stopped it."
"Even though you knew that, why did you still do it?" Rarity pointed out with a smile.
"Well, when you but it that way, I guess you could say I am." You said modestly.
"That's right. Now, how many days have you been here?" Rarity questioned.
"Today's my fifth day being here." You responded.
"And would you say a lot has changed compared to your old life?" Rarity wondered.
Well that took some consideration. To start, the scenery is definitely different, you had a larger house with a father who has a stable job and is doing well at it, the same goes for you mom, both of them give you plenty of space which you liked though sometimes they could just be plain ignorant, but that was a minor downside. You had never really had to deal with drama before until now, since you were generally a chill person all the time. You also noted that despite only being here for five days, a lot has happened. You met a really smoking hot girl, hotter than the very sun drenching you in sweat, she despised you until you somehow won her over within 3 days, then you messed it all up, twice, and now you were here to make amends and try to have the relationship with her you so crave.
Of course, try being the key word here.
"Wouldn't you know it, we're here." Rarity observed, pointing to the front door to the house not to far off.
"That we are, so what do we do?"
"I'm sorry love, but I'm afraid that the question here is; 'What do you do. It's not my love story, I'm just here to help push things along. Go show her that you love her like I know you do. Don't you dare disappoint me now~." She sang, then she casually strolled away, going off in the outside apple fields.
"Well darn. Time to go face Big Mac." You said, hiding your own fear from yourself.
Yep, it was time to not stall and just outright do it. If you don't, no progress will be made. You puffed out your chest and walked proudly to the Apple family house. You knocked on the door, and Granny Smith answered.
"Oh-ho well looky here! Didn't expect you to come here today, what can I do fer ya?" She asked, giving you a warm and friendly smile.
"Hey Granny Smith, I was just wondering if you had seen Big Mac anywhere. I figured that on my day off I would strike up a friendly chat with him!" Beads of sweat formed on your head, this time, more from nerves rather than heat.
"Really? Well that's alright I guess. He should be in the Kitchen if ya need 'im. Speaking of kitchens, are ya hungry? We're about to fix ourselves some lunch and a strapping young boy like you needs to eat, don't he?"
You knew better by now than to refuse food from Granny Smith. "Well I suppose it couldn't hurt..."
"That's the spirit young feller! Now come on, try some of my famous caramel apple turnovers!" She then took her walking crutch and hobbled into the kitchen. You followed slowly behind to make sure she didn't fall and be ready to help her in case she did.
Meanwhile, Applejack was finishing her chores outside. All she had to do was collect the last two buckets under a tree that she affectionately named 'Bloomburg' and she would be done. As she was carrying her buckets back, she saw Rarity walking towards her.
"Now what does she want? I reckon she's the cause of all this mess with City Boy..." She whispered to herself.
"Hello Applejack, lovely weather we're having, are we not?"
"Alright Rarity, just tell me whatcha want." Applejack insisted, being a more 'to the point' kind of girl.
"Oh nothing, just wanted to let you know that he will most certainly be here today."
"Who's he?"
"You know who I'm talking about." Rarity rolled her eyes.
"Oh City Boy. Heheh. I was thinkin' that you meant someone else." She said sarcastically.
"Ha ha, still doesn't change the message I'm sending."
"Well, what If I don't wanna go see 'im just yet? He better be awfully sorry for what 'e did."
"Oh please Applejack. Both of us know that you love him. It's written all over your face!"
Applejack opened her mouth to say something, but no words came out. Instead, she just blew out a sigh of resignation. "Fine, you're right. I do love him. But, I want him to say it first..." Her voice trailed off.
Rarity put a comforting hand on Applejack's shoulder. "Applejack, I'm sure he would say that in a heartbeat. However, I think you two need to spend some time together. You know, get to know each other more. See what I'm saying?"
Applejack nodded. "Sure as sugar do, Rarity. I agree, we jus' need to... hang out, me an' him. Can you tell Big Mac that I'll be with City Boy today if he needs me?" Applejack had a slight grin on her face.
"Certainly darling. Now bring those buckets in and go get him! He's in the house if I'm not mistaken."
Applejack lifted the buckets up and triumphantly strutted to the barn where they belonged.
At the same time...
"Hey City Boy." Big Mac said in that deep bass voice of his, casually snacking on a peanut butter sandwich that was double-deckered and somehow was only slightly bigger than his enormous powerful hands. You had on your plate a caramel apple turnover courtesy of Granny Smith and were looking for a place to sit.
You gulped. "Hey Mac, Rarity said I should speak with you." You could feel yourself visibly shaking.
"Dern right you should." He put on a menacing expression that would make a dragon's nose bleed.
You nearly lost all control of your bowels.
Sensing your terror, he put on a more relaxed expression. "I'm jus' kidding. Yeah, Rarity told me that you an' my little sis had a bit of a complication. So what's up?" He inquired. You took a seat near his with the tasty treat Granny Smith offered earlier.
"Quite honestly, whatever stopped me earlier is gone now. I'm ready to take the plunge and try to be with Applejack. That is, if it's alright with you." You sat there nervously twiddling your thumbs.
Big Mac let out a low but hearty laugh. "Ya think I'm gonna stop you from datin' my sister? I applaud yer modesty, but I think you're just what Applejack needs. I have full faith that you two are gonna be happy together." He pat your back, which because of his size, hurt ever so slightly.
"Well thanks, I think..." You trailed off, not sure what to make of his opinion on this. You could be excited to know that your worries of Big Mac aren't realized, or you could be nervous now because that meant you were going to have to face Applejack next.
"Don't mention it. Oh, and one more thing." Big Mac added.
"What is it?"
"I need ya to come closer..." He leaned out a little.
You leaned in a little. "Yeah?" You whispered.
"Closer..." He repeated.
You complied.
"I said closer, goddangit!" He insisted.
"I'm as close as I'm gonna get!"
Big Mac laughed. "I'm jus' kidding." He then whispered quietly so only you could hear. "Now, I know you teenagers and how y'all get if there's no adults around and y'all like each other. So, if the levels of Adrenalin and Dopamine get too high for either of you two to handle, I want ya to use this."
He passed you a condom, you flipped your shit.
"Oh my freaking god!" You whispered frantically. "It's like everyone here wants me to do Applejack! First Rarity, then you, then... I dunno, maybe just you two but it feels like more!" You put it in your pocket.
What? One does not simply refuse a condom when a hot girl is in the equation.
Big Mac winked at you. "Whelp, better safe than sorry, am I right?"
"How do you even know if I'm going to get in bed with her?"
"I was your age once. Trust me, if you two truly love each other, it's the right thing t' do. Also, let's be real, you can't resist her." He put on a smug grin.
He was your age once, well crap, he had a point there. Still, you didn't want him questioning your self control, even if you didn't have much. "Five bucks says you're wrong."
"Deal." He said. You two shook hands.
"Anyway, thanks Big Mac for... being so supportive of us."
"My pleasure. Now, AJ's worked real hard this week and so I was gonna give her a break. Would you be willing to spend the rest of the day with her?"
"My pleasure, Mister Macintosh."
"Please, call me Big Mac."
You two shook hands and you chowed down on your turnover, noting that your cooking will never best Granny Smith's.
It wasn't long before Applejack walked in the room. Your heart started to pound, but this time, it was from excitement more than nerves. You actually loved the prospect of spending a day with her.
"Hey Big Mac?" Applejack asked suddenly. "Would it be alright if-"
"Say no more, Applejack, it's alright if you take the rest of the afternoon off. In fact take City Boy with you, he says he's mighty excited to spend the day with you." Big Mac said before Applejack could finish.
Applejack started to say something, but realized that she just had her question answered for her. She blushed and cutely grabbed her arm. "Well shucks, I guess... that's our cue to go, city boy." She chuckled a little.
D'aw, she's so cute when she's nervous!
"Sure, so let's just have a day to ourselves?" You asked.
"Yep, just us." She confirmed.
She reached her hand out to yours, you took it without hesitation. It was so soft and warm, worn from work, but not at all unpleasant. You two walked outside to spend some time together.
"Awww, this is so sweet!" Rarity beamed, pressing her hands to her cheeks excitedly. She then leaned over and nudged Big Mac ever so slightly. "So, did you give him some... protection?"
"Eeyup." Big Mac responded, smiling. "Now, how are you so sure they're gonna need it?" Big Mac asked.
"Applejack isn't a good little church girl, so it's not like she's bound by any sentiment or promise to keep her legs closed, but she does respect herself, so the reason why she's spent her entire life a virgin is because she has standards. However, when she meets the right guy, and knowing how attractive she is..." A sly grin developed on her face.
Big Mac chuckled. "Poor City Boy don't stand a chance, I tell you what."
Rarity held out her hand, Big Mac high-fived it.
Later, at your house...
"So this here fancy schmancy mansion ain't so scary once you clean out all the dust an' cobwebs and stuff." Applejack observed, looking around your house. "Before y'all moved here, this place was scarier than a spider under yer covers."
"I can imagine why." You concurred. You pictured your house with gray dusty walls and cobwebs and no furniture. The image was rather unsettling.
"So, what's our first order of business, partner?" She asked, open for suggestions.
A devious idea made it's way into your head. "Come upstairs, we're having that video game match you promised."
You heard Applejack gulp. Excellent...
