The end never came for humanity on that grim December day, when the bombs ravaged their cities, and killed off whatever miserable human dewelled within them. Alas, many view that day as both a miracle and a misfortune, a miracle that those who lived lived, and a misfortune that they were left with ashes to inherit.

Yet, humanity scrapped by, clinging to oil wells and geothermal hot spots. For these nations, it seemed everything would go back to normal, and for a time it did. Until these energy sources dried up, and these prosperous nations collapsed into anarchy and death. Yet, as humans do, they survived, and now just two nations survive. Hoffnungsvoll and Нация стали. Hoffnungsvoll, a nation of technologically advanced people, with legged tanks that skitter across battlefields, to weapons that harness the power of lightning itself. And Нация стали, a nation of steelhearted peoples, and nationalism unmatched by any other nation. These two nations are on the brink of a war that threatens humanity yet again, until a startling discovery causes the two nations to battle for an infinite source of energy.

Unbeknownst to them, an otherworldly force watches, planning and waiting for an opportunity.
