//-------------------------------------------------------// The Kindest Smile -by Frosnaver- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The Dream //-------------------------------------------------------// The Dream As she slept she dreamt. Running on the clouds with her mother. Her first day of school. All the memories. "Quiet, quiet," said the teacher, "I know you are all very excited, so let's start by introducing our selves!" Several ponies passed eagerly shouting their names. "Hi, I'm Soarin' and i want to be a Wonderbolt" said a blue colt. "Well, I'm Rainbow Dash and I am the best flyer, so I want to a Wonderbolt." The cyan and rainbow filly sat back down next to her. "Umm....H-hi, I-I'm Fluttershy." Said Fluttershy from the front of the class, she immediately ran back to her seat. "Psst.." whispered Rainbow Dash. "Eeeeek!" squealed Fluttershy, ducking. "Fluttershy, guess what." Fluttershy looked at Rainbow Dash questioningly. "One day I am going to marry Soarin'." Rainbow whispered again. Fluttershy sat up giggling and smiling, but then,"See what you've done!" Rainbow became her father "You killed her, she's DEAD!" She panicked, "All because of YOU!" She desperately wanted to wake up. "Baby girl, my baby girl..." Her mother was next to her, hugging her, comforting her. Her mom smelled like milk and honey. The smell comforted her. "You let him kill me!" Her mom screamed throwing her off the cloud. "No, no, Mommy! Mommy!" She cried. She slammed onto the ground. Fluttershy, Fluttershy, Fluttershy can hardly fly! "No, no! Stop, Leave me alone. Mommy!" Her vision became blood red. "You killed her" "Fluttershy, Fluttershy, Fluttershy can hardly fly." "You let him kill me!" Her eyes shot open "Eeeeek!!!" The shattered feeling returned to her body, the grass around her was soaked. Only the moon illuminated a small amount of the pitch night sky. bum bum, thump thump, bum bum, thump thump. Her heart was beating a mile per second and the blood continued to pour from her mouth, nose, eyes and entire right side of her body. she remembered the image of her faceless, mane-less, and tailless dead, bloody mother. She remembered her dad " You don't deserve to die, you can live with what you have done. The falling, the crying, everything she had done had led up to hear and now. //-------------------------------------------------------// The beginning //-------------------------------------------------------// The beginning "Did you hear me, I said get out!" Fluttershy watched as her mother screamed to her drunken father. "If you love us get out! And if you won't do it for me, do it for her!" Her father shifted angrily. "You are all lying cheaters!" yelled her father as he slapped her mother. That was it, she didn't know what to do. She could not just watch. She opened her eyes again to see her mother, face slightly distorted and bleeding. She ran and blocked the hoof blow towards her mother, it knocked her nearly unconscious. "Stay out of my way." Said her dad. All she could do was watch as her father beat the mare who was now bleeding profusely. She heard a scream as she looked away to her mother, which was now a fleshy, bloody, suffering blob. Skin torn, skull cracked. "Mommy!!!" she wept. "See what you have done this is all your fault," said her father, "You killed her." He stared down at the tortured, small, frightened Pegasus. He stared and she began to walk backwards. She continued backwards until she nearly fell off the edge of the cloud. "See you, my dear." Her father snickered before pushing her off. She tried desperately to open her wings and fly but every time she heard the torturous chanting. Fluttershy, Fluttershy, Fluttershy can hardly fly! She slammed onto the ground, blood pooled around her. She had landed on her right side. Her entire right side felt shattered and broken. she tried to stand. Her right legs were broken. She attempted to flex her wings her right wing, also broken. The blood continued to pool, staining her coat and main. Suddenly her father dropped down next to her. "No, you can't live! You deserve to die!" He slapped her once more. Tears, bloody tears, formed in her eyes. She began to silently sob blood. Next thing she knew her father was choking, her vision was darkening. Then she could breath. She wasn't dead. He turned to face his daughter. "I won't kill you. You have to live with your faults." Then she was alone. It's all going to be okay baby girl. She heard her mother's voice. Hush now, quiet now, it's time to lay your sleepy head. Hush now, quiet now, it's time to go to bed. Her tears streamed down her cheeks even once she had fallen asleep. Her small body shivered and shook as she slept. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Colorful Filly //-------------------------------------------------------// The Colorful Filly She looked around, she realized she was in a rocky clearing, with patches of grass spread around every 3 feet or so. "Hahahahahahahahahaha..." She heard filly's laughter. "nananananana" A mocking sound came out of the same direction. "Who-who's Th-Th-there?" Fluttershy inquired so quietly it was almost silent. The other fillies were here to mock her? The Mare in the Moon? Her Father? The last option was the most frightening of them all. But, it was her fault, SHE killed her mother... "P-please d-don't hurt me..." she heard only her heart beat. The words had come out breathlessly as if she hadn't said anything at all. By now a river of blood was pouring from where she lay. More laughter echoed through the rocks. "g-get away!" this time she was loud enough to be heard over her heart beat but nopony else could have heard her, nopony at all... She was alone. She was going to die here. "Blood?" This time she herd a colt's voice. " H-h-help!" She screamed. Now this was a real scream, she couldn't die. She would do everything she could to make it up to her mom if she could just get out of here. Suddenly she blacked out, she heard squeals of terror but she couldn't open her eyes. She was cold, so cold. And she smelled a soothing scent of milk, no honey, just milk. Her legs went numb, followed by her head and then her entire body. Numb, not a thing. So this was it. This was what death felt like. She wouldn't even be able to her mom I love you one last time. She would go to the moon. She deserved to be imprisoned there as a ghost. It was obvious she would suffer even after she died. It was inevitable. She wouldn't even be able to see her mom in the sun, where good ponies go. Suddenly a painful shattering sensation reappeared in her body. Was this good? or did this mean she was getting closer to dying? What if she was already dead? the pain grew and grew. It wouldn't stop. She wanted to shriek, but she couldn't make a sound. And yet it grew and grew. Love, hunger, sadness, thirst, cold. Everything came upon her as she thought: this is it I'm dying. No tears, no goodbyes, just dying. She boiling and freezing all at once. It was agonizing. Celestia had made sure she would suffer. No more sounds. The feelings stopped. It was all emptiness. Even her train of thought had stopped. Her heart had frozen in her chest. And yet a small thumping noise began to rise in her ears. There was a show of brilliant rainbow colors...
