Princess Pinkamena
Princess Pinkamena
Load Full Story"Good Morning Gummy!" Pinkie chirped at the half-awake alligator.
It was so early in the morning that the sun was still coming up. Pinkie loved to wake up early- she was definitely a morning pony... and a night pony. She actually just has bundles of energy 24/7, regardless whether it's morning or night.
The first thing she did was go into her bathroom and attempt to somewhat tame her crazy mane. In the mornings she had bedhead that was amplified by the already normally messy and crazy state of her hair. When she looked into the mirror, however, she saw something unusual... her hair was straight. Perfectly straight.
"What are you doing, mane? Why aren't you poofy and curly and crazy and fun?" Pinkie said to herself. "Am I sad and I just don't know it? But... what would I be sad about? Nothing happened, right? My life's just been normal... but what if-" Her talking was interrupted by her reflection. Her reflection, talking to her.
"Hello there, Pinkie Pie... it's been so long... too long. Don't you agree?" Her reflection hissed. Her voice was much lower than Pinkie's normal one, and it seemed to have almost an echo to it.
Pinkie screamed and ran away from the mirror and her grinning reflection, but to no avail. Her reflection had climbed out of the mirror and shattered it. Broken glass lied all over the bathroom floor, and the reflection appeared in front of Pinkie, as if by magic.
"Oh, don't seem so scared, Pinkie Pie. I'm only, well, you." The reflection said, and broke off into shrilling laughter. Pinkie ran away again, and again, and again, but every time the reflection appeared in front of her like magic. She quickly came to the realization that running was useless.
"W-what do you want, Pinkamena?" Pinkie asked her. Pinkamena simply grinned and whispered, "You."
Pinkamena stared out the window, into the streets of Ponyville. Many ponies were walking the streets, while others ate on restaurant patios or sat on benches reading newspapers. Fillies ran off to school.
"Oh, look, it's Pinkamena! It's been so long since I last saw you," said a voice from behind Pinkamena. A very familiar voice.
"Hello, Discord," She said in a calm voice. "I was expecting you to find me." She turned to the draconequus floating behind her.
"You know, Pinkamena, you're a wonderful source of chaos- and now that you're free, you can spread that chaos all over Equestria! Doesn't that just sound delightful?" Discord said, coming closer to the dark pink pony.
"Yes- it does. Being trapped within that party pony is awful, you know. Causing chaos sounds fun. But how? If I just go and murder everyone in Ponyville, there won't be anyone to appreciate my chaos. And Princess Celestia will send the army out to capture me."
"Oh, that's simple. If you're afraid of that silly little princess, then I'll just make you a princess yourself!" And with that, Discord snapped his fingers, and- Princess Pinkamena. She was a full-fledged alicorn princess.
She spent a few minutes trying out spells with her new horn. All chaotic and death spells, of course. Then Discord simply waved goodbye and vanished, telling her to cause as much chaos as possible. Pinkamena smiled and used her powers to turn all of Sugarcube Corner into all glass- and then she used another spell to shatter the glass. Ponies on the streets went into a panic as glass shards rained down from the destroyed bakery. Some of the shards were so big that when they landed, they impaled ponies, killing them. Pinkamena flew above it all, smiling. Being a princess, a princess with Discord-like powers, it was easy to cause chaos. And Pinkamena's version of chaos was blood. Guts. Death. Murder. She had already accomplished killing several ponies that were next to Sugarcube Corner, but it wasn't enough for her, of course. She remembered Discord's trick of making chocolate milk rain from the sky and decided to try it out- except, with glass shards raining from the sky. Using glass was her favorite method, because if it didn't kill, it would certainly injure.
Five minutes of glass shards raining from the sky was all it took for a quarter of Ponyville to get wiped out or severely injured. Pinkamena was having a blast with these new powers, the sight of the once peaceful town's streets being covered in the blood of innocent ponies made her happy. All around, in the streets stained red, there were bloody corpses, cowering ponies, glass shards everywhere, and lots of weeping citizens. And- the elements of harmony.
Twilight, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity stood directly below Pinkamena, staring up at her with fear and determination. Pinkamena grinned wide and flew down to greet them.
"As the princess of friendship, I demand you to stop this at once, Pinkie!" Twilight exclaimed. She looked fearless, but Pinkamena could see the slight shaking in her knees, hear the slight wavering of her voice. She knew that the alicorn was terrified.
"Pinkie? I'm not Pinkie anymore. I'm Pinkamena. Or more specifically, Princess Pinkamena!" She corrected Twilight.
"W-why? Why are you doing this Pinki- Pinkamena? Please S-stop..." Fluttershy squeaked. Rainbow Dash was holding her up, because she had a shard of glass in her shoulder, and a couple more in her legs. Rainbow herself seemed to have some cuts on her wings, and some feathers missing. The rest of them had cuts on their feet, and Applejack had blood gushing from a wound on her back, but she was still able to stand, even with all the blood loss.
"Silly, silly ponies. This chaos- this bloodbath- is wonderful. And anyway, you're powerless against me. As you can see, I'm an alicorn now. An alicorn with not only alicorn powers, but powers almost equal to Discord's," Pinkamena said, grinning wider. Then, with a flash of pink magic from her horn, the five ponies were suddenly locked in a cage.
"Wh-wha...? What the hell is this, Pinkie Pie?!" Rainbow Dash screamed, laying down Fluttershy and flying to the edge of the cage and slamming herself against the bars in an attempt to escape. Twilight tried to teleport out, but her magic didn't work.
"What do you take me for, an idiot?" Pinkamena hissed. "You can't use magic in this cage- why would I let you do that? And anyway, you girls should be grateful- I'm letting you live. This cage is protected. And, you'll get a front seat view of my beautiful chaos!" And with that, wings sprouted on the sides of the cage, and it flew up into the air, hovering there. They could see all of Ponyville. All the horrors of Ponyville.
Before they could say anything, Pinkamena put a sound lock on the cage, so she couldn't hear them. Then she grinned and flew away. She was bored with using magic to kill- so she spawned a magic sword and went off to personally kill ponies.
For the next hour, she chased ponies around and slaughtered them. Corpses laid everywhere. Some with the guts spilling out of their stomachs. Some with no heads. Ponies everywhere laid coughing up blood or silently weeping. Some went insane with all the things they saw.
It had only been going on for an hour. Just an hour. And Pinkamena had painted the sky red. She had obliterated Canterlot with her magic, but didn't care at all if there were survivors or not, because she had already declared herself ruler of the "new" Equestria, and the survivors were her subjects. Few ponies tried to stand up to her, but all ended up dead. Everyone in Cloudsdale- and Cloudsdale itself- had turned into glass and went falling down to the earth, shattering and dying on impact. Discord had shown up a few times to enjoy the chaos with her.
Princess Pinkamena- the new ruler of Equestria- stood in the midst of it all, laughing. Laughing underneath the scarlet sky, dripping with the blood of others. Fluttershy and Applejack had died from blood loss. Rarity had lost her mind. Twilight just sat in the cage, looking out at that scarlet sky with tears streaming down her face.
And Princess Pinkamena just laughed.
Pinkie jolted up, eyes snapping open. Her heart was beating fast and she was dripping with sweat. She frantically looked around- she was in her bedroom. In her bed. Gummy was by her side, and there wasn't a drop of blood in sight. From what Pinkie could see from her bed, the mirror in her bathroom wasn't shattered. She looked out the window, and that scarlet sky was gone- it was just a normal starry night. There weren't any shards of glass or corpses, and everything was normal. Pinkie let out a long sigh of relief.
"Good... it was all just a dream." she said to herself. "It was an odd dream, though... Discord? Giving me wings? No- giving Pinkamena wings. And a horn." She looked at her bathroom again and whispered, "Sorry, Pinkamena. But there's no way I'm letting you out... ever."
Then, she rolled over, pulled her blanket up further and went back to sleep. And, in the bathroom mirror, stood the dark figure of Pinkamena.
Author's Note
I had the urge to write something, and last night, at 2am, while half asleep, I came up with the idea of Princess Pinkamena. It took me a few hours today to make it sound like I didn't write it in my sleep, ~~even though I pretty much did,~~ but I decided hey- I might as well publish it anyway, right? So here it is- Princess Pinkamena.
