%1% Making ponies smile
It was a dark and stormy night for Equestria and while everyone was inside their homes, one wasn't. A blue mare with her cart growing ever so heavy; trekked through the rain to reach her new destination. "Why of all days did the weather ponies schedule a heavy rainstorm for Trixie to go through!?" Trixie was not pleased and talking to herself wasn't going anywhere fast when all she needed was speed.
Trixie was supposed to be heading to a fundraiser and be there by tomorrow for all the fillies and colts who were in the hospital. She, most of all wanted to see them smile one of the biggest smiles ever! But Trixie would have to go through this rain first. Tired and dirty was all this show pony was now, all the rain made her wet, sapping the energy from her and the mud sucking at her hooves didn't help. Her cape was stuck to her back and her hat, in the cart so not to get wet. Through all this she trekked onward.
No pony knew why she would go through the trouble of rain or worse to get to charities or or just to see the little foals. She would get nothing out of it but a good name, and Trixie didn't even want that out of visiting these events. She and she alone, knew the reason to why she did these things.
Finally through all the rain she made it to here destination, Manehattan. Finally Trixie granted herself a moment to rest and she unhooked herself from her cart and went inside. She flicked on an oil lamp and floated a towel over to her. “I finally made it, it felt like forever..." Trixie stated to herself while drying herself off.
Trixie was tired after the trip so she fall on her bed, but when no sleep came she used her magic and a blue lite engulfed her horn as the roof went transparent, she lay in bed staring up at the clouds and rain as it fell hitting the roof with a pitter patter. She stopped using her magic and focused on the noise the rain produced and finally fell asleep.
Trixie awoke and got dressed for the big day today. She couldn't wait to see the foal’s faces as she showed them magic tricks. But this morning she remembered a bit of her past she had buried deep and not wanted it found. She tried to push it away but she could not, for it was stuck in her mind and won’t go without her thinking about it. So finally when preparations were made she stopped to think about her past, that one fateful day...
Trixie opened her eyes to find her and her friends were playing by the river, only she was further away and she saw a smaller version of herself playing by the river. There was a large amount of trees and the river made a tricking sound from the shallow parts of it. Trixie ran back and her friends stared at her as she said "watch this" then Trixie's horn started to glow as a bubble of water floated up and she floated over to her friends with great difficultly.
But as she did so she realized one of her friends were really close to the water and as she lost focus, the water bubble popped and the water came right into that friend swiping her off her feet and into the water. Trixie was watching this memory in horror as all she could do was remember. As the little filly was swept into the water, all her friends were calling to her friend running toward her trying to grab her as her friend fought for life. They were just about to catch her, then her friend fell down a small waterfall and hit her head on the shallow water splitting her head open. Trixie watched in horror as her friend’s lifeless corpse floated down the stream.
Trixie opened her eyes and a tear rolled down her face but she quickly wiped it away and checked the time. it was almost noon and that was when she was supposed to perform. She rushed and grabbed the rest of her things and ran to the hospital. In the mad dash she forgot the one thing she carried with her to most of her shows, a photo. A photo of her friend that died on that leaving a scar on her heart, one that would never heal. Ever since that day ponies who remembered say it wasn't her fault but she knew she was the one to blame. She ran back and grabbed the picture she almost forgot, Trixie looked at it for a moment and ran towards the hospital, leaving only a tear behind from where she stood.
Upon her arrival, she was escorted to a room where all the foals were sitting and waiting for her to come. When she walked in the door, she smiled as the fillies and colts cheered even before she started. as she went on with her shoe, more cheers came from her crowed after every trick.
When she was finished they all cheered once more and Trixie felt a lot better even crying tears of joy a bit but enough for one of the crowed members to ask Trixie "Excuse me miss... why are you crying?"
Trixie wiped the tears away and said to the one who asked the question as well as the rest of the crowed “Sometimes in life we have bad moments, sometimes good ones. Sometimes when you cry, it doesn't mean it’s bad. It means you’re happy, and right now... i couldn't be happier"
The crowd cheered as Trixie finished her sentence and some of the members of the crowed started to cry, the smiles and the tears of pure joy made Trixie's heart nearly jump out of her chest. Before leaving she walked up to the foal who asked the question and gave him a flower and said "thank you for reminding me" and left the room.
Trixie was happy after that, so happy that on her way home she couldn't stop smiling. And when she went to bed later that night, she fell asleep with a grin on her face saying "maybe everything will be alright." then she soon fell asleep.

%2% Unearthing The Past
Some things are better left unspoken to forever dwell in the inhabitants mind and flourish with the fruits of imagination. Some things are better to be let free than to keep locked up like a bird in a cage only dreaming to fly away.
Her whole life she felt this way; she felt if she left it unspoken, things would be better but it only made things worse. Soon did she realize that letting things go to be free not only helps the mind but later comes back to affect it once more.
To Trixie, this is all too real.
When Trixie was a filly in magic school, ponies would laugh at her and make her cry and though she silently screamed inside, it was not enough to stop the demons from over taking her and creating a monster.
When she trusted some and told them secret, the pony would then go and tell more ponies that exact same secret and like a wildfire that burns a forest down, every pony knew her secret and that just added to the flame's that grew inside her.
Trixie would hate to go to school often saying she was sick or hide the day just to get away from it all. For most of her child hood, she was alone with her thoughts and imagination.
She thought some pony would one day stick up for her and protect her with open arms, to save her from her own demon's bit it never happened.
One day she had been especially teased and bullied to the point where she was hit, later that day she contemplated suicide and wondered.
She wondered who would care if she gave up on the world she was in and was forced to call home. She wanted to quit and give up, but she didn't. Instead of quitting, little Trixie grew smarter and managed to outwit the bullies even.
No pony saved Trixie from her demons, only herself came to her aid and soon, she became self-dependent.
Now the Trixie we know is a show pony who cares for all the little foals, including the outcasts. She helped them realize the good in living and taught them tricks that help her when she was young.
She finally became something to look up to and she did, she idolized herself and no pony else for if she had let the barriers down once more.
She would not want to see what would happen to her and what’s left of her broken sanity.
She loved to spread cheer by using magic and by even her voice itself was a tool at her disposal, to use on her own free will. And that’s how Trixie became the pony we love and respect today.
Trixie loved the world for its beauty and mystery encased with a smooth crust coated with green, She loved the way the forests grew and the wind blowing in a breeze. She found serenity in the silence of the world and used this found emptiness to gather her ideas, her idea's on how to make people happy and most importantly, idea's on how to make herself happy.
Trixie walked with an empty mind and a dirty conscious that reminded her silent mind what she had done, or just simply witnessed. Trixie in the silence could gather her thoughts and be at peace with both the good, and the bad in her life.
Some times are tough for Trixie to get passed but she prevails slowly but surly.
Trixie once had written a diary to what was going on in her life but ended it quickly for what she experienced put onto paper is sometimes to hard to let back in, to feel the moment further with every word on the page.
Trixie ended up losing not only her diary in a house fire but her father as well. She dare not talk about him but also keeps his spirit alive with songs on his birthday by the grave and talking to him about whats new in her life.
Empty, that's how Trixie felt sometimes in her life when it seemed only the bad came and the good never followed through.
Trixie was a show pony for the last thing she remembered her father say to her was to become a show pony like her father. Trixie actually really liked it to! she loved the smiles of the children and the places she got to visit even if the ponies weren't as nice there.
She never got attached to any pony for she did not want to have to say goodbye. Trixie hated goodbye's most of all for it means a see you till next time and most of the time, that was not the case. But still Trixie pressed on.
Trixie loves the rain, to hear the pitter patter it makes on the ground as it falls from the heaven's giving everything life. She would fall asleep listening to it's peaceful sounds and sometimes even go outside and sleep in the rain just to listen.
Her father had once told Trixie that if he left and was gone forever, listen to the wind for it carried his voice and name throughout time. She had loved her father very much and she couldn't bare his death and having to be the soul to carry on with her.
But she felt the need to for it was her father and he was a good man. He took care of Trixie growing up, she could never remember a mother ever being in her life at all.
Confused she had tried to find answers but came up blank every time.
Through all of this in her life, she presses on.
Not for her own benefit's. She pressed on for the other ponies that needed her, all the sweet fillies and colt's in the hospitals and orphanage's.
That's why she did it. That, and that alone. Is what keeps Trixie fighting to overcome her feeling today and move on.
