//-------------------------------------------------------// Dear Scootaloo -by Hoodie-Chan- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The beginning //-------------------------------------------------------// The beginning                                                                       Dear Scootaloo:   I'm a unicorn mare, red mane and tail and glasses. One day I went to search for berries in the ever-free forest, It was quite dark...And spooky. I felt a drop of water land on my horn and drip off in front of my eyes. I looked up and saw the clouds that were turning grey, I felt a breeze threw my mane then it hit me. I've been through a tough day, I better get home before it begins to storm. I started to trot a little faster and when that happened I found myself running as fast as I could. "GAH!" I yelled out loud as I tripped over something...Soft. Great, my face was all covered in dirt and I dropped my basket full of apples. I was gonna just get up and move on home but, I got tempted to see what I tripped over...So then I got my face out of the wet dirt and  picked myself up off the ground and then I took two step over towards...A black and white striped blanket?? "Huh?" I tilted omy head and I thought then it was pretty weird that there was a blanket I TRIPPED over in the middle of the forest...But, then again it is the ever-free forest. I started to trot over towards my basket and I heard something behind me. It sounded like a whimper. I turned around and saw the blanket shaking, I walked over towards it slowly and pulled the blanket off a little and saw...A filly?! A filly...A pegasus filly. Skin color orange and her mane was hot pink. She was shivering and crying, "H-hello?" I said quietly as I hovered over her, I knew that would make the rain pour on my face instead of hers. But sadly, No answer. Could she talk yet? I gave her a nudge on her back with my horn to see if she would get up...Was she sick? Alone? Abandoned? So many questions in my mind right now..But, That wasn't the problem. Stupid me! Always thinking about myself! I didn't know what to do I couldn't just leave her! She turned her head looking right into my eyes. Her eyes...I could tell she was saying "Help me" Her soundless voice..I heard thunder and it knocked down a tree right before my eyes, luckily it wasn't too close to us. I knew she would get hurt or even DIE out here if I left her, And I'm not. I'm lucky I actually have a heart. I nudged her side (basically picking her up with my head) And I ran over to my basket and placed her inside and covered her with my plaid picnic blanket. Before I knew it I was running through the storm. Rescuing a baby filly. Heading towards my house. //-------------------------------------------------------// The connection //-------------------------------------------------------// The connection I stood in front of my cottage with a basket in my mouth, in the storm. I took a deep breath in and created a spark and slowly opened the door. I quickly ran inside and shut the door behind me. Then, I suddenly placed down the basket in front of me crouched down to see what was going on...Before my eyes, I saw a her head push the blanket up and stared at me with a smile. My thoughts on her were: Who would leave such a cute filly in the forest alone? Scratch that. She is beautiful. She tilted her head in confusion...Probably cause I wouldn't stop staring at her. I snapped myself out of it, I was going to ask her some questions..But, I remembered she couldn't talk...Or could she? So I let it all out. "So..How did you get out there?" I said to her as she just stared at me with her shiny eyes. She didn't answer...She couldn't answer. She started to act shy as she put her ears down and turned her head away from me, STILL staring at me. I then lifted my hoof and turned her head back around towards mine and gave her a smile. "Are you hungry?" I asked her that, because she looked awfully skinny when I lifted her up earlier. As her response, she blinked twice and jumped up into the air like a pink mare I know when shes excited. I got off the floor and grabbed the basket with my teeth, trotted over towards my kitchen and placed them next to the stove. I used a spell to open all the cabinets and doors as the filly in the basket watched in amazement. I then spun around in front of her and gave her a wink. Then, used the magic to start the stove and placed a pot right on the flame. So I wouldn't set the cottage on fire, I got out my measuring cup, filled it with water, and poured it all in the pot. The filly eyes widened as if she never seen this before...Has she? And then I had an idea. "Let's put on a show!" I shouted as I twirled around towards my sink to wash my hooves. My wet front hooves in the air, and back hooves spinning around, I was making the filly feel welcome in my cottage and I could tell she liked it as well as I ever would. She then gave me a huge smile and danced around in the basket as if we made a tune! Wow...This filly is so smart and cute...I wish she would speak. I then was out of my focus and lost my balance and fell on my bottom. "Ah...Ow.." I mumbled while rubbing my head. Since I was out of focus, The magic stopped as well, the orange filly started laughing..Yeah,Laughing! I was so surprised, I looked up at her and started to laugh too. I picked myself up once again. And then I realized I had a spoon in my mouth. And with this spoon I picked up some carrots next to the stove beside the basket, and put them in the pot along with: Chicken broth, Pepper, Potatoes, Meat, Peas and finally green beans. I wouldn't know if she would like it or not...It was very healthy though! She seemed to like the smell of it, her head was hanging out of the basket and her tongue sticking out, panting like a dog. //-------------------------------------------------------// What should I do? //-------------------------------------------------------// What should I do? After all that mess, Me and the filly were sitting at the table eating the soup. She seemed to like it very much, her face was basically in the bowl slurping the soup down like a pig. But, I didn't mind for all I know she didn't know any better. She was done eating, she leaned back in the chair and gave a loud burp. As she was laying on the chair relaxing, I lifted her bowl with my magic and lightly put it in the sink to wash. Man, time sure does go by fast! I just remembered what time it was...This filly needs some rest after this long hard day. And the thing is...I have no idea how long she has been out in the woods. I then, trotted over to her and lifted her like I did earlier in the storm, and jumped up the stairs. Lucky for her, I had a extra room...But, that was my friend's room. His name is "Ouran Rain" he hasn't been here in awhile...So I let her sleep here for the night. And maybe tomorrow...I'll figure something out. I woke up that morning, hearing something in the kitchen. It sounded...Evil. Like roaring it was rather loud, and annoying. I rushed down to the kitchen (more like tripping down the stairs) and saw the filly making a smoothie? a drink? Well I guessed because the noise was coming from the blender. My eyes widened...Did I...Teach her something? I was cooking last night and is she trying to...follow in my footsteps? Whoa, As I could see her hooves were holding down a plate at the top of the blender, spinning round and round with it. Then, It shot right off and went flying in the air. The pink shake was shooting everywhere leaving the place messy. "Really?!" I shouted as I ran over towards the blender to quickly unplug it. I looked down at the filly as if I was angry with her, And she believed it. She hung her head down and her ears went down again..She knew I was upset. I used my hoof to turn her head at me and smiled and said "It's okay". She still was a little worried but, gave me a huge smile ad gave me a hug. She was...Hugging me? Hugging me?!? I started to blush, I haven't been hugged in a long while. I quickly hugged her back along with a squeeze, and started giggling. "Ew!" I slowly pushed her away and saw that she had the sticky shake all over her, And now some of it was on me. Then I got an idea "Bath time!" I said with a smile as I lifted her up with my spell. I walked up the stairs into the room on the left were the tub was. I turned the knob, and out came the water. I lightly dropped her in the tub, she looked at me with a blank face. "Hot or cold?" I questioned her,All she did was give a nod. "Uh..How about warm?" As an answer she jumped up and down in the tub. I turned the cold and hot knobs at the same time and she laid down in tub, relaxing like Rainbow-Dash would on a cloud. I scrubbed her down with some body wash, and saw a scar on her left wing. I was so surprised, I washed around the one wing. She was all squeaky clean and covered in soap as I lifted her out of the tub and wrapped her up with a towel and dried her off. After that, I sat her down in my lap and started to brush her hot pink mane, Which was all wet too. It wasn't that hard to brush, but she did squirm a lot. "All done!" I shouted as I lifted my head up in relief. She turned her head around and looked up at me. I noticed she was staring so I sighed and looked down her and said "So...What now?". She thought for a moment, and then had an idea. She jumped up in the air and ran down the stairs. I processed for a moment than followed her down as well. She used her right hoof to point at the door. "Outside....?" I said shyly. She jumped up and had a happy expression as she went closer to the door. Uh..Should I let her? I do live in the middle of the forest...And I might get questioned in town, also didn't she just have a bath? But oh..I couldn't say no to the face, So, I grabbed my pack, stuffed her inside so her head would stick out, and opened up the door. I started to trot towards town and the door slammed behind my flank, which made me jump. And I quickly started to run fast through the forest...Oh, I hope something gets better.
