At the crack of dawn, a young Sargent Shining Armor is ordered by Princess Celestia to fetch her a human child from the slave market in Canterlot, but she doesn't want just any human. The human child she needs is more important to her than anypony could possibly imagine. The threat of eternal night is looming, along with an unavoidable rebellion, and the boy Shinning collects holds the fate of all of Equestria in his hands.
