The Watchdogs

“Today was the scene of another horrific and tragic crime, as several armed humans entered a Harvest and Trustee bank in Manehattan.” said Story Breaker, a young pastel brown unicorn.

“Reports say that the gunmen entered the bank and took hostages, as the Royal Guard arrived on scene, the situation quickly deteriorated, when the Royal Guard tried to push in the front of the bank with force, resulting five dead hostages and three dead Royal Guard and many more injur-” Princess Luna quickly turned off her tv and shook her head with both anger and shame.

“It appears as sister’s decision to not allow our guards to use the humans weapons is coming back to bite us.”

CFS Saint John’s, Canada

   A older gentleman of about sixty-two, was sitting behind his mahogany desk, and was currently reading a document, when a knocking resonated from his door. “Enter” he called, his assistant entered.

“Sir, the security council wishes to speak with you.” the older man closed the document and motioned for his assistant to follow him as he moved to the video conference room.

“Are the assignments handed out and completed?” he questioned as they walked,

“Yes sir, all ready for you, but are you sure it’s wise to continue, I mean technically none of this legal.” the assistant responded, “Yet, it will be in a few hours so prep for green.” he quickly responded as he entered the video conference room.

“Counselors, how may I be of service?” he stated to the sixteen video screens looking towards him.

“Mr. Fischer, we have been in discussion about how to assist our friends across the portal, and have been informed of your plan.” Fischer was still looking at the screens with a shadow of a grin on his face, “And have reached agreement that the Watchdogs Initiate is approved you may begin as soon as possible.”

The screen on his far left finished, “But we will be assigning a liaison to you, a Miss Subtle Sketch, she will report to the Equestrian government and will relay between you and the Princesses.” the far right and newest member to the council, the Equestrian representative added.

“Of course I’ll inform the team we have the green light.” Fischer stated,

“What! You’ve had Initiate ready and assembled without our consent!” angrily stated the Equestrian representative.

“Of course, I knew the council would approve and the situation in Equestria is getting worse faster, so that helped me make that decision.” he responded with a large smirk on his face.

“In the future Mr. Fischer, please wait for the council to decide, and we will be expecting positive results, we’ll be checking your progress every month.” As soon as that was said the monitors turned off and Samuel Fischer knew that the Watchdogs will succeed.
