Chapter 6: Together

The snow has slowed to an almost standstill in the next early morning, the only one awake in the apartment was Rose. Rose was waking from her sleep early, as always. She remembers that Fury is a heavy sleeper and decides to sneak into his room. As she nears his bed, she thinks,

‘Aw, he’s so cute in his sleep.’ she smiles at him. ‘Hmm… what if?’
She turns around so that her tail is near his nose and she starts to try and tickle his nose. Fury waves his hoof near his nose to try and get it to go away but fails. Rose giggles and she keeps at this for a bit till she see Fury sniffing the air where her tail was. Rose gets curious at this and moves her tail close. He catches the smell of her tail and dives into her tail. She squeaks softly in surprise. He then grabs her tail in his mouth and pulls lightly, she squeaks again to this.

‘So I like to have my tail pulled…..weird.’ she thinks, only to get this confirmed by another pull.
She turns around to face him, his nose searching for the smell it lost in his sleep. She giggles at his movements and move close to him. Suddenly, he grabs her with his hooves and pulls her in and on the bed. She gasps as she get startled by him pulling her in. She gets held onto so she can’t go anywhere but stay. She sighs at him holding her close. Rose turns so she can see him. She decides to moves closer to him and rests her head under his chin and sighs.

“Well then....might as well enjoy it." she says very quietly. She listens to his heartbeat till she got lulled back to sleep by its rhythm.

Fury wakes to see a black, red and gray mass in front of him and he is trying to figure out if this is what he is supposed to see. Rose wakes thanks to him waking.

“Hi, good morning.” she says with a smile.

“You..are in my..bed..”he says confused.

Rose giggles softly, “Yea, I kinda snuck in this morning. I couldn’t sleep, and you are so fluffy!” she says snuggling up to his chest. Fury chuckles at the mare rubbing her head against him.

“Well that's a pretty good reason I'd say.”
Rose giggles then looks up at him, then snuggles under his chin again. Fury thinks about what's going on and what he may do next. Then he looks down at her head and kisses the top of her head. Rose visibly stiffens at the kiss. She looks up at Fury with a blush growing on her face. She opens her mouth to say something but they left her brain. She just looks down at herself. Fury frowns at this. Fury tilts his head in confusion.

"Rose...?"
Rose hears her name called and looks up in time to see him kiss her square on the lips. She grunts in surprise at him and her eyes go big but soon she falls into the kisses trap. Fury wraps his hooves around her body and Rose’s wings start to stand out. She breaks away from him breathing hard.

“I..just..what happen?” she asks stunned.

Fury just looks at her with a amused look on his face. “You know what happen.” he says back softly.
Rose is just left stunned for a while.

‘Yep she broke’ Fury thinks. “Hey, Rosey you there?” he asks waving a hoof in front of her face.
She breaks from her state and looks back at Fury with a massive blush on her face.

“I uh...sorry I zoned out there.” Then a realization strikes her, “Are we….together now?” She looks at Fury questioning.
Fury thinks about this, “I guess, I mean we already kissed and slept in the same bed for a bit right?” Rose nods and he continues, “So that means yes. Is that what you wanted?”
Rose looks at him playfully, “Yes, it's all i wanted.” she says happy as she lays her head on his.

They stayed in bed cuddling for a time being till Fury had to go to work. Rose was curious at what he does so she asked what he does.
“I am a Canterlot guard, Private 2nd class.” he says as he gets out his uniform from the closet.
“Woo, I am dating a military stallion.” Rose comments, pumping the air with a hoof. Fury laughs a bit at the comment and motion.
“So, do you got a job?” he asks Rose.
She goes deadpanned and scuffs her hoof on the ground, “No.”
Fury stops to look at her. “Hmm, well they are looking for more employees at a restaurant nearby where I usually guard at,” he states.
Rose perks up at this info, “Ok, thank you, can you show me where it is when you are ready to go?” she asks.
“Sure. plus it would be nice to have some-pony with me to work.” She smiles at him and he smiles back in turn.

They leave the apartment, after eating breakfast, into the snow filled streets of Canterlot. Rose follows Fury to the restaurant then they break off to their separate ways, Fury to his guardhouse and Rose to the restaurant. Rose enters the place and appears nervous for her first impression. She walks up to the receptionist pony to ask if she can be hired.
“Hello and good morning ma’am, what can we do for you today?” the receptionist says.
“I um..was wondering if I can be hired because I heard they are hiring here.” Rose responds with a light smile.
The receptionist lights up, “Sure, we are still applying for ponies here. Just follow her.” She points to the mare beside her.
“Thank you ma’am.” Rose says.

The mare she is following was a white Pegasus with a purple mane/tail with a black streak running through it. She also has a blue glow necklace and two glow bracelets, Blue or green, on her right hoof. They move through the place and to the back where the manager and staff resting rooms are.
The mare stops and looks at Rose, “Here you are, the manager's room and stuff.” she says almost like Pinkie Pie but not the high voice just a very happy and hyper voice almost.
Rose can’t help but smile at her enthusiasm, “Thank you miss…" "My name is Purple Skies.” the mare says.
“Yes, thanks Skies and mines BlackRose.” Rose responds.
Skies smiles happily, “No problem, it’s always fun to have new ponies here. Bye, hope you get the job!” She walks off back to work,
‘She’s so jolly and happy that I can’t help but smile at her for some reason.’ Rose thinks as she enters to managers office.

The office was small but not too small and it had a large desk in the middle of the room with a few items on the desk along with paperwork being worked on by a mare, which Rose guessed was the manager, but what surprised her was the mare was a bat-pony. Her coat color a dark grey almost black, her mane a light blue with black and yellow eyes. Her name is on the desk, Storm Rider. She looks up from her work at Rose with expectation.
“So, you are here for the job?” she asks.
“Yes ma’am.” Rose responds.
“Well, you look like you could work here, you sure you want this job?” Rose nods.
“Well then sit down, and we will fill out the forms, alright?” Rose nods and sits down in front of the mare.
“Now lets begin,” Storm starts, “age?”
“23,” Rose responds.
“Alright, now your name?”
“BlackRose, ma’am.”
“Hmm, could I call you Rose?” Storm asks.
Rose nods, “Every-pony calls me that.”
She nods, “Alright, you living with anyone?”
“Just my stallion-friend, DeathFury.”
She looks up at Rose suddenly with surprise, “The DeathFury in the guard right?”
Rose nods and tilts her head, “Why? You know him?”
Storm nods, “Yes, he likes to come here every now and then to eat. He loves this place apparently.”She informs Rose. “Kinda hard to believe he finally found some-pony.”
Rose smiles and rubs the back of her neck, “Yea, only I fell for him as well.” she says.
“Well that's all the paperwork Miss Rose. Do you want to work in the afternoons or mornings?” Storm asks.
“Hmm...maybe afternoons.” Rose responds.
“Alright.” Storm confirms. Rose looks at her,
“Don’t mind me asking are you….”
Storm was ready for this, “A bat-pony? Yes. I know it's odd.” she says looking down.
“Hey it’s not odd it’s cool. I never seen a bat-pony before.” Rose says with care.
Storm looks back up at her with thanks and a smile, “Thank you for not being racist against me like many others.”
“Of course, bat-ponies are cool looking and so...rare.” Rose says smiling trying to reassure her. Storm gets her mind in order to finish up everything.
“OK, so you can start tomorrow afternoon, alright?”
“Sure” Rose says smiling once again.

After Rose met all the employees, she headed home to the apartment to wait for Fury and tomorrow afternoon. Images of Fury was scratching her mind. It was a 30 min walk from the apartment to the restaurant, where she now works. The streets was not very busy at the time, ponies were still waking up to Celestia's sun. She walks up the steps to enter the apartment. Once she enters she looks up at the time to see how long it will be till he got home.
“Dang, still only 9:00, he gets home at 3:00.” she says to herself.
Rose then looks around at what to do to pass the time till he gets home.
“Hmm, might as well sleep for a while.” She enters Fury’s room and dives into the bed.
“Mm….Still smells like him.” She says softly. Her eyes flash open. “Oh! I sound like a mare in heat!” She exclaims but then images of him flash in her mind refusing to go away at her will only confirms it that she is in fact, in heat and makes matters worse. She curses at her mind.
“Let’s try to sleep it off.” She worries, “Hopefully it will work.” she says as she rubs her hind legs once again under the covers and starts to leak. She groans in annoyance and face-plants into the pillow. She then starts to grind on the bed unconsciously for a while till she takes notice at her acts.
“Maybe I should move to my bed...just in case.” she decides getting up and leaving his room and enters hers, still upset about the situation.
