Lord Despair's Scrapbook

The roar of battle filled the air as two wizards, one of light the other darkness, throw spell after spell.

'' Hahahah! Is this the best you can do Alkeyore, if so how in the seven Hells did you of all wizards became a lord of magic?'' sneered the white wizard.

'' Don't play games with me Teigue, I may have fallen for you're games before, but your tricks shan't aid you in this battle''  Alkeyore shot back with a blast of Dark magic, hitting Teigue in the leg.

The white wizard cried out in pain as the coldness of dark magic crept unto his leg, " Give me the key or I end you for that!!!" He screamed, casting a Holy fist spell at Alke only for it to fly past his head by mere inches.

''Never!'' Shouted Alke, countering with a shadow sneak spell and melting into darkness reappearing from Teigue's shadow. Using a shadow chains spell he bound the white wizard with chains made from his own shadow, forcing him down to one knee while the burning coldness of the chains made him scream in greater pain than when Alke's spell hit his leg.

''Teigue the white,'' Alke said in a voice that echoed all around them '' Former lord of magic, I Alkeyore Blood-raven, the shadow devil, last of the lords of magic, here by find you guilty of murdering your former brothers and aiding Demons. Any last requests for old times sake?''

Teigue shoots Alke a death glare before smiling, "yes one request and one only, give up, Alke, we both know you can't defeat me.'' he says before laughing. '' hahaha, oh, by the way, hand over that key while your at it''

Alkeyore shook his head " No Teigue you shall never get the key, but I do have one question for you before i do my duty as a lord of magic.''

''And what, pray tell, do you want to ask of me old friend, after all I have done?'' Said Teigue his smile widening.

Alke grabs Teigue by the collar pulled the wizards face to his own ''why?'' he spat ''Why you did all of this, why betray us, your brothers, to aid demons?''

Teigue's smile grew into a madman's grin follow by a mad laugh, " Why? Why you ask, well why not?" He said, laughing again. ''You are blind like all the others and those who came before, the demons will have their king back, it's only inevitable. Why should we even try to protect Gaea from his wrath she shall burn in the end anyways? I figure by helping him I'll get on his good side, but most of all killing our weak brothers made me feel," His eyes rolled back in pleasure ''Alive''

Alke punched the white wizard's teeth in, knocking him to the ground,'' you sick bastard! They were our bothers, I hope you burn in the seven hells for all of time!!!"

The mad white wizard begged for more pain before saying '' thanks for the pain Alke, looks like I need to repay you for the meal.'' He sneer as he cast Holy Light, melting the chains of darkness holding him, then casting Heaven's Light trapping Alke in a sphere of pure light before the dark wizard knew what had hit him.

Teigue rises from his prone position, walking slow circles around the trapped wizard. Alke rushing to cast a counter spell, only for the magic to melt away from the purifying light. The mad wizard, savoring his soon to be total victory, shoves his palm into the sphere, casting Holy fury sending thousands of blades ripping into Alke's flesh leaving many wounds causing the trapped wizard to cry out in great pain.

''Now I ask again, give me the key and you shall feel no more pain.'' Said the mad wizard in a calming tone.

''Go fuck yourself, you self-righteous, divine light worshiping, fuck!'' Alke screamed in pain only to be hit by another holy fury, adding more wounds to the thousand Alke already had.

Teigue sighs, '' you dark wizards are all the same, always forsaking the glorious way of light for the vile ways of darkness. Once I'm done with your copse I will visit and kill all of your kind and burn all of the books and scrolls on your magic before I free the King of demons.''

''ha-gah-d-don't make me laugh Teigue-gah- my wizard order are safely lock away in the shadow realm only those in tune-gah-with darkness may enter those lands.'' Alke mange to say while in great pain.

With a smile Teigue grabbed Alke by the throat pulling the still trapped wizard in close, '' I know I can't enter that black realm, but that doesn't mean that the Tahuians can't.''

Alke's face paled '' you're mad, you would enlist the Hunters of all beings to your monstrous quest?! Your soul is more tainted than the king's'. "He croaked.

Teigue mad smile widen, as he let go of Alke '' why thank you, Alke, but it's too late for flattery. Yet I'll reward you for lasting this long.'' He laughed madly.'' Do you know what reward I have in mind for you?''

Alke takes a deep breath rubbing his throat '' cough no cough I have no idea Teigue I'm not a mind-reader.''

''oh-oh-oh it's a simple casting'' giggled Teigue wile he pulled Alke from the sphere, causing it to form chains restraining Alke like he was earlier. '' You see Alke, believe it or not I have grown tired of killing people using tools and spells. So I've decided to end you another way.'' The mad wizard once again walking slow circles around Alke, his mad laugh echoing. '' Since my awakening to the truth of things I wondered what happens when you combine our magic with demon powers for a spell, today you're giving me the chance to test it out.''

Alke' breath quickens in horror '' No-no Teigue don't you dare mix those magics they were never meant for that. Not even the king of demons would dare to combine them!'' Alke said, struggling with his chains, only for them to tighten slightly.

Teigue continued to laugh '' I know that's what makes it fun!'' his eye hardened and he growled '' Now hand over the key and I'll make the spell painless.'

''Never, I'd rather die a thousand deaths than give the key to the likes of you, Teigue demon's slave, fallen lord of light'' snared Alke defiantly barely ignoring the pain from his many wounds.

'' I would be careful of what you say Alke, cause you know anyone who says that dies, but you will give me the key even if I have to rip out your black heart and eat it.''  threatened Teigue.

Alke spat in Teigue's face '' Go fuck yourself!''

Teigue wiped the spit off and sighed '' I hope you would give in to me to make your death as painless as possible. But time is short, after all I have a job to do and a world to destroy.''

The chains tighten nearly crushing the doomed wizard as Teigue, tired of asking for the key pushed his magic into Alke's robes. Magicking the hidden necklace into his hand.

"Now, was that so hard Alke, now that I have what I wanted, its time to test out that spell.''  Teigue then start to utter in the demon tongue while his open hand starts to glow with the pure aura, the one with the key beginning to glow a sickly greenish red. A magic circle appeared under Alkeyore, from him trying to form a spell to interrupt the mad wizard sickening spell of wizard-demon magic.

Alke tried casting a simple power-up spell, yet good fortunate was not with him today. The light magic from the chains melting what little magic he gathered before he could form a spell. 'It was a good run while it lasted.' said one part of Alkeyore's mind 'what are you saying, we'll make it. We always do' said another, ''Teigue has won ''Alke said to himself. ' so? We've gotten out of deeper shit than this before.' argued his mind. '' I had magic at my side back then. This cursed light melts it away before I can form a spell.'' Alke said to his mind 'hm, yes, that might a problem at this moment. Yet you forget something, darkness is everywhere light is' his mind reminded him. ''Darkness is everywhere light is.'' He echoes, a small smile graced his lips. ''Thanks me. I think I get it now.''

''Damn sound like the chant is about to hit its final verse! Gotta form a spell!'' Alke gather his magic inside of himself, using his own body to shield the forming spell.'' Come on! Just a little more, come on sweet darkness just a little more............. that's it!!!!!'

"Attla equ lomis lkmis-"

"Crimson Nightmare!" Casts Alke, using every bit of magic in his body, destroying the chains binding him and interrupting Teigue before quickly ripping the key back from his hand.

The interrupted foul spell, now an uncontrolled cocktail of unstable magic still hits Alke at full power ripping into his whole being; he flashed one last smile at a furious Teigue, who, rocking with rage cast thousands of spells at the inflamed wizard only for the wild spell to absorb each one adding to its power, even greater pain rocks throughout Alke body which is glowing an angry red, brighter and brighter till its light blinds all, Teigue cries out both in pain and rage as the blinding light transforms into a great pillar of red light with highlights of white and green.

By the time Teigue finally opens his eyes he find both his prize and his prey have disappeared from this world. Outraged at this development he shoots out a pillar of pale flame into the air.
