The concept for a sequel for one of my earlier works Quiet and Empty Nights has been floating around for awhile now. After receiving such positive feedback from the first one, I decided to finally polish off a completed sequel.

Amidst the frozen tundras and snow slopes rested the Crystal Kingdom, a shining gem in the middle of the cold wasteland. In stark contrast of the icy wastes surrounding its borders, the Crystal Kingdom was lush with green grass as fertile farmlands stretched around it’s city limits.
Such an incredible difference of natural biomes never ceased to amaze the yellow pegasus Fluttershy whenever she came to visit. Every visit to the kingdom was such a stimulating experience for the meek pony. She always enjoyed visiting provided she could witness all the new sights and sounds from a safe distance. The cautious pony never was a fan of surprise new experiences.
For today’s trip Fluttershy watched the world roll by from the comfort of a royal carriage. Along for the ride sat Princess Cadance who sat in similar comfort across from the quiet pegasus. The carriage wheels clattered against the stony road, but it’s crystal pony engineering ensured a smooth ride for its passenger. The two passengers remained undisturbed by the rough road.
Fluttershy spent the ride, hugging one of the corners inside the carriage, peeking out through one of the small windows that were built into the side walls of the carriage. As the sights slowly transitioned from the wildlife infested outskirts into the pony filled city streets, Fluttershy’s mind grew troubled.
After spending the majority of the ride in prefered silence, she finally spoke up, shyly looking at the ponies outside that didn’t seem to even notice the carriage. “A-and you’re sure you don’t wanna do our...stuff at my place?”
“We’ve been having so many of our special nights at your place,” Cadance answered, “it’s only polite that I host this time around.”
Even with their journey almost over, Fluttershy couldn’t shake the feelings of doubt and uncertainty. Could she have been doing something wrong? Perhaps she missed a subtle cue from Cadance and messed things up. “I-I just ask because of how far we gotta travel...a-and I don’t want you to go through so much trouble-”
“You’ll enjoy yourself, Fluttershy. I promise.”
Part of Fluttershy knew that Cadance was right, she was just letting her nerves get to her. It was easy to ignore such uncertainty during most of the trip, but as their destination got ever so closer, the reality of it all started to set in.
After a little while the carriage slowed down to halt, stopping near the main entrance to the large castle that stood in the center of town. A long, red carpet stretched from the door to the road, giving the riders a royal welcome.
One of the carriage pullers was quick to rush to the side of the carriage, opening up the door and allowing the two passengers to exit. Fluttershy meekly followed Cadance out, carefully watching her stride so she wouldn’t walk too quickly or end up running into her.
Crystal pony guards on either side bowed their heads to greet their princess. Princess Cadance did well to bow gracefully back. Fluttershy lowered her head nervously in some awkward motion that almost resembled a bow. No pony seemed to notice Fluttershy’s fumbling mistake as the two exited the carriage.
Nervously Fluttershy kept close to Cadance’s side as they trotted down the red carpet. The carpet flowed down the middle of the walkway, leading to the castle’s large purple doors.
“I’m sure your stay here will be comfortable,” Cadance started to say as they continued on their way. “I have a small bedroom set up for you and everything.”
“A-any place will be fine,” Fluttershy meekly answered, avoiding any eye contact with the passing guards, “I don’t want a fuss.”
Cadance simply smiled at the shy pony. “I’m sure you’ll like it.”
Once in the castle Cadance led Fluttershy down a series of long hallways. The area was dotted with armor clad guards who bowed their heads whenever Cadance passed by. Every hallway was decorated with lavish tapestries of lavenders and pinks and long, expensive looking carpets leading down their center. The two ponies’ hoofsteps echoed off the tall, crystal walls as they passed through.
“Here we are!” Cadance chirped as they stopped at an ordinary looking door. She led the pegasus in, closing the door behind them.
Fluttershy followed closely behind, hastily slipping through the doorway once given the opportunity. A simple light switch on the wall was flicked on, revealing the room in front of her. Her eyes grew wide as she set her sights upon the room before her.
The room was, to say the very least, well equipped and generously decorated. To the oblivious, it appeared to be a nursery for a foal with all its furnishings enlarged to accommodate larger ponies. A large, plush rug dominated its center, providing a soft and warm play area. Farthest from the main door rested a crib and rocking chair, both lovingly decorated with soft, light blue sheets and a fresh white layer of paint. A bookshelf hugged the wall to the right of the rocking chair, chocked full of bedtime stories and picture books. Beside the rightmost wall sat a large changing table with a pink padded top. The table’s shelves were well stocked with a number of thick diapers and soft diaper covers in a variety of fabrics and styles. Resting alongside one of the left corners of the room waited a small kitchen area with counters, a small fridge, and a table that could seat four. Beside the table sat a bright pink highchair that looked roomy enough to seat a full grown pony.
The room’s walls were painted a soft, pale pink with little white silhouettes of flowers and trees painted across their planes. The entire room was given a gentle glow of daylight as sunshine leaked through the large, tall window with a view of the Crystal Kingdom and the boarding rolling hills.
“Do you like it?” Cadance asked.
“It’s...It’s,” Fluttershy was rather lost for words. She never expected to see such accommodations and Cadance was so thorough. “Big,” was all the stunned pony was able to say.
Cadance smiled, “I knew you’d appreciate it. I had some of our best carpenters make this room especially for our little playdates.”
The mention of the carpenters made Fluttershy’s body tense up. She now worried about those ponies knowing her secret and telling everypony about it.
“Relax, I didn’t tell them what it was for,” Cadance chimed in assuringly, “I just told them that I needed the room for a pet project and left it at that.”
Usually that would be enough to settle Fluttershy’s nerves, but with a secret so well kept like this one, the mere mention of the carpenters made her worry. What if those ponies came back and started asking more questions? What if they put two and two together and figured out that it was all for her? What if they burst into the room suddenly while she was being put into a diaper?
“Now then...who’s hungry?” Cadance asked out of the blue.
The question broke through Fluttershy’s storm of worry making a shy smile grow on her face. “I-I could eat...” she responded with a typical response, fidgeting with a hoof a tiny bit.
“I thought so,” Cadance chuckled, “do you want to sit at the table or in your highchair.”
Fluttershy felt her heart quiver hearing the words ‘YOUR highchair’. For some reason it made the furniture more meaningful. The answer was obvious and she gave it before weighing the pros and cons in the slightest. “H-highchair please...” she quietly said back.
Cadance nodded, “then we best get you in a fresh diaper.”
“Wh-what?”
“It’s a brand new high chair, Fluttershy. I can’t risk any accidents.”
Fluttershy blushed at Cadance’s logic. It made a lot of sense, but a Fluttershy with a sharper mind would notice right away that this was just an excuse to get her diapered sooner than later. That was always an awkward threshold for her to overcome when it came to her and Cadance’s get togethers.
With flushed cheeks, Fluttershy scurried off to the changing table. She knew the routine all too well by now. Cadance followed close behind, wearing an understanding and supportive smile to hurry her along.
For a moment, Fluttershy nervously stood beside the inviting changing table. She just didn’t feel comfortable hopping up without the approval of Cadance. She was so worried she’d mess up somehow or offend the princess in some way. The nervous pegasus always needed a helping hand to be pointed down the right path.
“Well hop on up, sweetie,” Cadance answered, “or would you like me to get you a stepping stool?”
Again, Fluttershy meekly responded with a blush followed by an ever so faint squeak. With only minor assistance from Cadance, she pulled herself up onto the large changing table. The plastic padding on it’s top compressed under her weight, cradling her back with it’s curved edges.
With her charge safely in place, Cadance proceeded with the diaper change. Her skills had become well attuned over the course of the many outings with Fluttershy. The task was now all down to a routine for her.
Cadance’s horn glowed a light blue as the needed supplies were levitated out of the lower shelves. A container of baby powder and thick diaper were the main items that made Fluttershy shrink in embarrassment. Despite the obvious signs of embarrassment, she also felt a strong flutter in her heart swell up.
Fluttershy’s ankles glowed before being hiked up into the air. The sensation made her take in a deep breath of air as it sent good feelings of littleness coursing through her spine. The fresh, crinkly diaper was gently slipped underneath her butt, lifting her lower half up on it’s pillowy cushion. Once her legs were lowered once again, the blushing pegasus could feel the full brunt of the soft diaper.
A pleasant sprinkling of baby powder was all that was needed to make Fluttershy’s crotch smell flowery and foalish. Already she could feel herself growing littler in the presence of her nurturing caretaker. She could feel her body start to relax in her own sort of nervous way.
The pink diaper was then simply pulled up between Fluttershy’s legs and taped on snuggly around her waist. Cadance took the extra step of carefully checking the leg gatherers for a comfortable fit.
Finally, to punctuate the diaper change, Cadance pulled out a cloth diaper cover to go over the new padding. The diaper cover was one of many similar articles found on the shelves of the table. Each cover had the same velcro tapes running along the front, but varied slightly in color or fabric choice. The thin cuts of fabric provided no added absorbency and instead was used to accessorize with the plain design of the diaper.
Such an accessory wasn’t entirely new to Fluttershy, but this would be the first time she actually wore one herself. Even though it was just a flimsy piece of material, she felt more littleness swell inside of her as the bright pinks, purples, and yellows of the flower print added onto her feeling of cuteness.
Fluttershy was lifted off the table once she was securely diapered up. With little resistance from her, Cadance floated her over to the high chair, carefully placing her down on the plastic seat. Fluttershy felt a delightful sense of helplessness, not having to lift a hoof as Cadance shuttled her from one station to the other.
The high chair’s metal tray clicked into place, locking Fluttershy in. Her forehooves remained pinned down by the tray, making them useless.
Cadance magically levitated some containers of baby food out of the nearby cabinet. The glass jars all donned similar sticker labels, clearly illustrating the food’s brand and the flavor contained inside. Everything from brussel sprouts to peaches could be seen lined up in the cabinet shelves.
The jars were tenderly placed on the high chair’s tray in a neat line, followed by a large, plastic baby spoon. Before the meal could begin officially Cadance loosely tied a lavender colored bib around Fluttershy’s neck. The bib only added to Fluttershy's growing sense of littleness.
Cadance pulled up a chair close to Fluttershy’s seat while simultaneously opening one of the baby food jars with an audible pop. Spoonful by spoonful, she slowly fed Fluttershy her meal. Designed to cooperate with foals’ sensitive bellies, the dull flavored mush didn’t have many complicated flavors that dazzled the senses. It went down easy, settling well in Fluttershy’s belly.
Cadance kept up the pace, steadily shoveling spoonful after spoonful into Fluttershy’s waiting mouth.
Fluttershy was able to keep up with Cadance’s rushed pace, only occasionally missing a bit of food. Any missed food would sloppily smear across her bib, keeping her chest free of sticky messes.
The meal plan seamlessly transitioned from one bland flavor to the next. It didn’t seem to matter what the flavor was, each colored mush had the same slushy texture as the last. Fluttershy willfully accepted every spoonful, letting a small smile grow on her face as feelings of littleness swelled inside of her as the feeding continued.
Before she knew it, Fluttershy had worked through three jars of the mushy foal food. She had just about topped off and Cadance seemed to have picked up on it. Once Fluttershy had swallowed the last bite of food, Cadance’s horn started to shine again.
“There we go,” Cadance said with a warm smile as she used the bib to wipe off Fluttershy’s muzzle. “All gone!”
Fluttershy meekly blushed as Cadance so delicately cleaned her face. The bib was then untied, quickly tossed into a pile for laundry. She had hoped that Cadance would free her, but that dream was quickly botched when she saw Cadance walking away from the chair.
With a glow of her horn, Cadance opened the nearby fridge. The white appliance gave forth a rush of cool air as she retrieved a large baby bottle of milk from the top shelf. The bottle was shuffled over to Fluttershy’s highchair where it was placed in front of the now empty baby food containers.
“A nice bottle of milk to wash the num nums down,” Cadance said with a caring smile.
A growing twinge in her bladder made Fluttershy think otherwise. “A-actually, I was hoping I could get up and-”
“Ah ah, bottle time, sweetie. No talking.”
Fluttershy leaned back defeated, her eyes locking on the large bottle of cool milk that waited for her on the metal tray. Without any other option, she picked up the bottle in both hooves and began suckling from it’s rubber nipple.
The task started simple enough with her drinking down the cold milk gulp by gulp. However, the more liquid she consumed, the stronger the pains her her bladder became.
Fluttershy tightly squeezed her eyes closed as the pressure became worse. Every gulp of milk was accompanied by a tight squeeze of her thighs. The diaper pushed back a bit as she futilely tried to hamper the growing urge.
Her suckling now became quicker, stronger, and more desperate as her bladder filled up closer to it’s breaking point. She tried to drink down the milk as quickly as possible which was made difficult with the small opening in the rubber nipple.
She had just barely made it three quarters of the way through the milk when her body couldn’t take it anymore. No matter how much she squeezed and silently begged, her bladder gave in.
A rush of warmth sprayed into the waiting diaper, loudly splashing against the padding as it came out full force. Without chance of resisting, Fluttershy was left to wait it out, feeling a wave of relief surge through her body as if rewarding her for wetting herself. The stream of urine continued to spray out of her with strength, quickly soddening the thirsty diaper. The diaper swelled underneath the diaper cover that did very little at stopping its growth.
Fluttershy remained frozen in her seat as she took the moment to soak in the torrent of emotions that swarmed over her. Her legs pathetically kicked as she lost the battle. Feelings of defeat coupled with innocence as negative emotions struggled to coexist with positive ones. She was left with a blank expression on her face as the pink diaper around her waist slowly grew in thickness as it absorbed the urine.
A sigh of both relief and embarrassment slipped through Fluttershy’s muzzle once she was finished. Now the little bit of milk appeared to be nothing of a challenge. The rest of the liquid was finished in a matter of minutes with no trouble at all.
“A thirsty little filly,” Cadance came in and chirped. “I didn’t think you’d finish the whole thing.” Her horn glowed blue once more, magically lifting the high chair’s tray off it’s tracks. Fluttershy was free once more. “But I’m glad I put you in a diaper first.”
Cadance’s comment made Fluttershy glance down at her waist. Her covered diaper had now grown to at least three times it’s size from the ample wetting. The cover strained against the change of thickness as sections of the diaper peeked out the sides.
Embarrassed, Fluttershy scrambled to say something in response. “It...It was a big bottle...” She sat there meekly, her well used and swollen diaper had become quite the spectacle. In her worried state, she felt like that was the most visible part of her.
“But of course I didn’t bring you here just to eat some mushy food in a highchair,” Cadance chuckled as she gently lifted Fluttershy out of the chair with her magic. “I have all these toys here that have just been dying to be played with.”
Fluttershy let out a gasp as her body tensed up once more. Floating through the air made her feel like her diaper was even more of a spectacle. She was gently ferried over to the large carpet in the center of the room. With a careful hoof, Cadance lowered her onto the plush carpet, only lightly squishing the diaper as it pressed under her weight.
“I wanted to give you a moment to enjoy a little play time. You always put up such a fuss when I forget to bring over toys.” Cadance chuckled as she began to trot away.
Fluttershy wanted to take that moment and point out that calling it a ‘fuss’ was a little unnecessary. However by the time she managed to form the sentences in her head, Cadance was already gone. It wasn’t that she put up a fuss, it was just her asking for toys and being all shy about it when Cadance said she didn’t bring any. After the numerous times this had happened over the course of their various get togethers, Cadance must have grouped them all into Fluttershy just being fussy.
Regardless of how Cadance saw her charge, Fluttershy was left alone to play. A large, plastic toy chest sat beside the pony, beckoning her curiosity with it’s bright color palette. Opening up it’s big, blue lid revealed a whole treasure trove of toys, each one giving Fluttershy a sense of innocence and childlike awe. With so many colorful and eye catching toys, she quickly forgot about the sagging diaper that hugged at her waist.
With a newfound childlike wonder, Fluttershy began pulling out piles of toys that seemed fun to play with. Stacks of building blocks and soft plush toys were quickly extracted from the chest and placed in a loose ring around the diapered pony. Brand new toys that hadn’t seen a minute of playtime like colorful plastic rings and wooden trains were brought into the light for the first time.
In the company of all the bright and vibrant toys, it was hard for Fluttershy to pay mind to the yellow diaper that so heavily tugged at her waist. She effortlessly crawled from toy pile to toy pile, getting lost in her playtime as a feeling of innocence swelled inside of her.
It felt invigorating to play with the toys. The activity brought a smile to the pegasus’s face as new levels of littleness and childlike joy swirled inside her chest.
The world around her fell away as the colorful toys grabbed so much of her interest. She farried the toy train set around the carpet, navigating through the twists and turns around the piles of blocks and plushies. She pursued the task of building the tallest block tower the world had ever seen, only to end up with a number of smaller ones about five blocks high. She even entertained the idea of having the plushies as her playmates, each one eagerly joining her in the imaginative scenes she conjured up.
Merrily playing along, Fluttershy had just barely noticed Cadance come in close after about an hour of fun filled enjoyment.
A light pat on her diapered behind broke her out of her playtime trance. Cadance lowered her head close to Fluttershy’s speaking with a soft voice. “Sweetie, you wanna stop playing and go get that diapee changed?”
Fluttershy blinked, looking down at her waist to eye the swollen diaper. The reminder made Fluttershy remember that she was still wearing the thing. So lost in her playing mindset, it was only now that she realized how silly she must have looked toddling around in such a filled diaper.
“I-I...Y-yes please,” she meekly said with red cheeks. Ever so carefully, she pulled herself up back to her feet. The diaper squished with every move she made, drooping lazily behind her.
Much like before, Fluttershy scurried back to the changing table, taking no time to wait for Cadance’s approval this time. She carefully laid herself on top of the padded table, paying extra attention towards her diaper to avoid squishing it around more then it was necessary.
Cadance wasted no time to begin, magically floating the needed supplies much like before. A tub of scented wipes joined the usual list of a fresh diaper and baby powder, ready to clean up.
The velcro tapes of the diaper cover was swiftly removed, exposing the fully yellow diaper underneath. The diaper tapes strained against the bulging padding as they were effortlessly popped off. Free from the sticky tabs, the swollen, yellow diaper was free to be opened and pulled out from underneath Fluttershy’s urine scented rump.
Before the strong odor of pee could get to Fluttershy, scented wipes swooped in to clean up the area. The very faint smell of urine was quickly dominated by the strong, fluffy nursery scents of the moist wipes. The clean up was so thorough, the worrisome part of Fluttershy’s mind had hardly any time to fuss about the fact that she spent the whole playtime sitting in her own urine.
Cadance handled the task quickly with experienced hooves. The old diaper was rolled up into a tight ball and tossed into the waiting diaper pail before quickly being replaced with a new one.
Fluttershy simply laid there, staring up at the soft white ceiling that hung high above her. She felt at peace on top of the table, having the urine soaked diaper tended to by somepony else. A small smile grew on her face as a little sigh could be felt escaping from her muzzle. The simple act of having her diaper changed brought forth feelings of content and peace, allowing her tense shoulders to relax. To punctuate the soothing feelings that flowed over her, the yellow pegasus let out a yawn.
“I’m thinking it might be time for some little filly to take her nap,” Cadance said in response, powdering the area and pulling the fresh diaper up between Fluttershy’s thighs.
Fluttershy couldn't help but agree with her. The excitement of playing baby coupled with the nervous stress of playing baby had tired her out quicker than she thought.
“Well it’s a lot to take in. My little filly’s had a big day,” Cadance smiled as she secured the new diaper around Fluttershy’s waist. Fluttershy was about to get up from the table, only to be immediately stopped by the pink alicorn. “Hold on, sweetie. I have something for you,” Cadance lightly held Fluttershy down with a hoof before breaking away from the table and dashing over to the closet.
Quite quickly, Princess Cadance retrieved a pair of pink pajamas, hanging on a white plastic hanger. The footed pajamas was specially cut to fit Fluttershy’s figure snuggly with little white bird silhouettes dotting it’s face. A line of yellow plastic snaps ran from the collar to the crotch, allowing for quick diaper changes.
An involuntary gasp escaped Fluttershy’s mouth as a big smile of surprise and awe grew on her face.
Cadance smiled in response, “I couldn’t let my little filly get cold during her naps, now could I?”
The big, excited smile laid frozen on Fluttershy’s face as Cadance ever so carefully threaded her limbs through the sleeper. Fluttershy was petrified with glee as her body tingled with littleness The pajamas were made of a silky soft material that made every nerve in Fluttershy’s body smile. She resisted the urge to squirm like a happy foal.
Each plastic snap was slowly closed, further sealing Fluttershy into her new pair of pajamas. She was stuck in a state of wonderful disbelief, unable to properly fathom the strong pleasurable feelings that tingled her skin. All she could do was smile.
"There's my cute little diaper butt," Cadance's voice broke through Fluttershy's happy daze as she felt herself being lifted into the air once again.
The fluffy pajamas enveloped Fluttershy's body, making every movement soft and warm. Even the smallest of gestures sent tingling sensations of cuteness coursing through her body. She was so involved in her new clothing that she failed to notice Cadance carrying her around to another part of the nursery.
With careful and steady concentration, Cadance carefully ferried her diapered charge over to the large crib that hugged the far wall. It's white gate was gently lowered and Fluttershy was deposited into it's soft interior.
It was only now that Fluttershy became aware of her surroundings, lulled out of her happy bliss by the harmony of crinkles that came from the crib's plastic sheet. The soft, light blue bed sheets that layered on top of the plastic was chillful for a second or two, but quickly warmed under Fluttershy's body heat.
The diapered pony rested her head on the fluffy pillow, staring upwards with a happy smile. She paused to just stare at the ceiling from her new bed. The wooden bars of the other three walls stretched up around her, ensuring her safety and security. The soft white ceiling seemed to stretch high above her, making her feel little in her comfy pajamas.
Suddenly a bottle of warm milk floated into her peripheral. Cadance slowly lowered the bottle of liquid down to the lounging pegasus. Fluttershy was happy to accept the bottle's rubber nipple, latching onto it the moment it came within range.
An ever so faint glow of Cadance's magic kept the bottle upright as Fluttershy suckled down the milk inside. Her insides slowly warmed to match the fuzzy heat from the footed pajamas. Her own hooves only weakly held the bottle in place as Cadance did most of the work. Fluttershy peacefully started to close her eyes, focusing only on the rhythmic suckling and the sweet milk that drained into her mouth.
It was unclear how long she laid like that. Time seemed to fall away as she fixated on only the bottle. The gentle tempo of drinking down the milk calmed Fluttershy further, making her body feel like it was sinking deep into the padded mattress. Every now and then she would pause to take in a deep breath of air, allowing the air to slip back out slowly before drinking more milk.
Before she knew it, Fluttershy was sucking up air, making the bottle loudly gurgle with the little bit of remaining liquid. Only a few more gulps were needed to finish off the large bottle. The empty bottle gently floated away from the satisfied Fluttershy.
“Is there anything else I can get you before bed?” Cadance asked softly.
Fluttershy’s eyes trailed over to the bookshelf from before. The colorful spines of various story books practically beckoned the diapered pony, bring a flutter of longing to Fluttershy’s heart.
Suddenly a book started to glow a faint light blue before being pulled out from between its friends. The book floated up into the air, drifted down to Fluttershy’s crib.
“I knew I was forgetting something,” Cadance said with a warm smile, “every little girl needs a bedtime story.”
Once again Fluttershy’s body began to glow before she was lifted out of the crib. The soft blanket that cloaked her body came along with her as she drifted over to the nearby rocking chair. Cadance made herself comfortable in the chair, readying her lap for the diapered pony. Ever so gently Fluttershy was deposited into Cadance’s lap, sensually held there by a vigilant hoof.
“Nice and cozy?” Cadance asked.
Fluttershy could hardly stand the happy feelings that swirled in her belly. “Mhmm,” she cutely replied, curling deeper into Cadance’s lap.
“Good,” Cadance smiled, levitating the book up into the air in front of the two. The book's cover was dark blue, depicting a little illustration of a llama all tucked into bed. “Now then "Llama Llama Red Pajama".” Cadance opened to the first page and Fluttershy snuggled in for a good story.
Cadance spoke with such a soothing voice, reading the words clearly and at a steady pace. She even went as far as to using funny voices whenever a character spoke.
Fluttershy eagerly followed along, soothed by Cadance’s voice and relaxed by the warmth of her lap. Each page brought with it a pastel colored illustrations and lines of text that she listened to Cadance read.
As the story went on, Fluttershy found herself struggling to make out the words that populated the book’s pages. After not too long, she started to focus more on the pictures that were starting to become a little blurry as well.
A few pages were read through before the pictures started to blur to a state where Fluttershy could no longer make out basic shapes. This was shortly followed by Cadance’s voice as Fluttershy’s sleepy mind could barely make out the words. She curled in close to Cadance, comforted by her warmth. Her eyes began to close fully and soon she succumbed to sleep, drifting off in Cadance’s arms.
Cadance read a few more pages of the storybook before she noticed Fluttershy was fast asleep. She smiled down at the tired pony, closing the book and quietly levitating it back to the bookshelf.
She gingerly gave Fluttershy’s forehead a light peck. “Sweet dreams, Shy Shy,” she whispered. With the diapered pony fast asleep in her lap, Cadance leaned her head back and drifted off as well.
