"Announcing Shining Sun, founder of the Equestrian Factory of Elaborated Goods"
Celestia saw a white unicorn with brown short mane and tail enter the room. He bowed and said, "Greetings, Your Highness, Princess Celestia."
"And greetings to you too. What is your petition?", Celestia asked, with a warm smile upon her lips. He smiled back.
"I'll warn you princess, at first It may look crazy, but know that It's for the best", he said simply.
The stallion took in a large breath, and spoke. "As you know, Equestria is progressing. We are becoming an industrialized country, full of cities and machines. Not only Equestria is progressing, but It's society also. We are adapting to two of the primal aspects of life: First, only the strongest and more fitting survive. That way, species progress and become more and more likely to thrive, and to evolve. Second, useless things do not last long. They either change and become useful, or die, may it be by the hands of nature or others. Now, we ponies are merciful, so when we see something that is useless, we put it out of It's misery before it suffers. And I have noticed that something useless lives in castle, and I want to comunicate it to you before It's too late."
"We want Princess Luna's title to be taken away."
Celestia blinked, not believing what she was hearing. She'd had strange petitions numerous times, but this?. "Princess Luna? No longer a princess?"
Shining Sun sighed. "Exactly. I know this is hard for you, but I know that you are reasonable. That's why I decided to speak with you."
"But she is responsible for raising the moon!"
He smiled."You can do that on your own, Princess. We know it."
"What about the stars?"
He sighed again."Most of the stars are useless, except for certain constellations. In that case, you can learn how to reproduce them"
Celestia was getting angry. "And the dreams? What about the nightmares that she stops? I can't do it, because I need to be up in the day."
"You could make a special line of unicorns to do so. It's not that hard to solve."
She finally sighed, tired of trying to change the pony's mind. "What is it that you have against my sister? What has she done?"
He smiled; not a kind and warm smile, but a cruel and cold one. "Finally we are getting somewhere. She is your sister, of course you are going to forgive her no matter what, but what about the rest of Equestria? Most ponies are too wrapped in their own lives to even think about it. But there are ponies who know her for what she really is: a monster. When Nightmare Moon first appeared you should have killed her, like you slayed every other monster. But because she was your sister, she got only banished, and when she returned, you simply used those so called 'Elements of Harmony' and said to everyone that she was good now! You are now putting Equestria in danger by letting that monster-"
"ENOUGH!"Celestia yelled."My sister isn't a monster!. Firstly, what you call 'just a banishment' was a thousand years of solitude and madness, away from her only home!. Secondly, the Elements are powerful, and they have cleansed my sister. Not only that, but the cause of her actual corruption was my blindness, and stupid ponies like you! And there is only one monster here."
"YOU ARE THE MONSTER!" Her horn glew dangerously with magic, and the scared Shining Sun ran away.
"AND I HOPE YOU NEVER COME BACK!" Celestia shouted before the doors where closed with a loud bang.
Princess Luna laid in her bed, unable to sleep, reading the lastest of Daring Do's adventures.
"And when she was freed of the trap, Daring Do took flight, determined to- Oh?"
Someone had knocked her door.
"You may pass.", she said looking up. Happiness appeared in her face when she saw who was there."Sister! We were not expecting you. We thought you were in court."
Celestia smiled weakly. "Yes, I was, but... I wanted to talk with you."
"About what, dear sister?"
"Nothing specially, just... things I wanted to say to you."
"We're all ears."
"I just wanted you to know how much I love you, no matter what others say.", Celestia began. "That I really missed you, a-and that I just don't know what I would do If you were gone again, and-", Celestia felt how the tears in her eyes begin to build up. She lowered her head, unable to continue. Then she felt herself being pulled into an embrace. She looked down and saw her little sister, with tears in her eyes too.
"I love you too, Tia.", Luna spoke, "And I'm sorry for having turned into Nightmare Moon."
Celestia smiled."I'm sorry too, Lulu."
There was a moment of silence that was broken by Celestia.
"Lulu?"
"Hm?"
"Would you mind if I slept with you?"
The night princess looked at her surprised."But sister! What about court, paperwork and meetings?"
The sun princess chuckled. "Those can wait. I won't be putting duties in front of family again anytime soon."
Luna gave her a warm smile as she broke free from the embrace and headed towards the bed, Celestia following. Only when they were both inside the bed and about to fall asleep, she answered. "Thank you. It means a lot to me."
Celestia only smiled as they both drifted into sleep.
