They came from the skies… and they rescued me and my friend, along with a few others from certain death… but they cannot stop to help us get home, for whatever reason they keep going, and we're forced to go along with them if we ever want to see home again…

A month ago, Lyra Heartstrings and Vinyl Scratch were headed to Manehattan for a musical performance, and on the way they ran into trouble at the hooves of a rival musical group. And during their confrontation, they were attacked by a griffon airship.

The group was forced to flee off of their path and ended up running into a field where a raging thunderstorm was happening…

And something came out of it, and snagged them all up. Now Lyra and Vinyl, along with a very displeased unicorn, are along for the ride with a massive group of individuals that came from a post nuclear wasteland…

The skies… and all of Equus… are never going to be the same…
