Unforeseen Consequences of Haycarte’s Method
Moon Dancer unconsciously looked up from her work, expecting to see a familiar, albeit annoying, purple face. Luckily, there was none. Moon Dancer glanced around the library only to find no sign of the pestering alicorn.
With a sigh of relief, Moon Dancer turned back to the books in front of her. It seemed she was finally alone. For the past three hours she’d been followed, harassed, and annoyed. It was like she had her own personal stalker, and it had gotten old quick.
She glanced to her journal and turned the page, ready to jot down a few notes.
“I’m sorry I skipped your party.”
Moon Dancer flinched and let a squeal of surprise escape her lips. All around her, the library patrons shushed her, but it wasn’t like she could help it.
On the newest page of her journal there was a sketch of an alicorn. However unlike most drawings this one could move and talk.
And it looked an awful lot like…
“Twilight.” Moon Dancer couldn’t suppress a groan.
“I’m really sorry, Moon Dancer.” The Twilight sketch said with doleful eyes. “I just wish there was a way to make it up to you.”
"You know you could leave me alone," Moon Dancer suggested. "Seriously, it's been hours and I'm trying to get some work done here."
"I know, but I can't leave yet. I have to set things right; just tell me how."
“You could start by not doing… Whatever this is to my books,” she quipped.
“You mean this?” Twilight indicated her sketched self. “I’ve just been practicing Haycartes’ method.”
Moon Dancer’s ear twitched at the phrase. “Haycartes, huh?” Twilight nodded. A naughty idea formed in Moon Dancer’s mind. She grinned at the realization that she may be able to get some peace and quiet yet, and teach this meddling alicorn a lesson in the process. “Well, what a funny coincidence, because I was just reading about that.”
“Really? You were?” Twilight smiled, happy to finally have a little common ground to discuss.
“Yes." Moon Dancer narrowed her eyes and grinned wider. "So you’re bound to the book you go into, right? You have to go along with the narrative, even if it was, say, on the level of bad fanfiction?”
Twilight blinked at the sudden question. “Well, yes. Ususally this isn’t a problem though since I go into non-fiction books.”
Moon Dancer nodded, her idea morphing into a plan. “Except for now, since you’re in my journal… where I control the narrative.” She grabbed a quill with her magic.
It was then that Twilight realized that maybe Moon Dancer wasn’t warming up to her after all. “Uh… What are you--”
Moon Dancer’s quill darted along the page right below her.
Twilight’s horn disappeared.
Before Twilight could even blink, she felt a sudden lightness on her head. Panicking, she raised her hoof to her forehead only to find nothing.
“M-Moon Dancer, what are you doing? I need that to be able to leave the book!”
“Oh, I know.” She smiled mischievously. “I’ll be honest, I’m a little surprised that worked. Maybe I should make sure it wasn’t a fluke.” Her quill darted across the paper again.
Twilight’s wings disappeared.
Without so much as a puff of smoke, the feathery limbs on Twilight’s back vanished. She was getting really worried now. There was very little chance this was just a friendly prank at this point.
“Moon Dancer, I don’t want to have to bring my status as a Princess into this, but if you don’t return my wings and my horn right now, I’ll-”
“Why should I? So you can go back to harassing me? I don’t think so. You unhealthy obsession with me needs to stop.”
Twilight ground her teeth together. “Moon Dancer you're acting foalish!” she yelled. “Let me out right now!”
Moon Dancer merely tightened her lips. “Cool it with the tantrum, Princess. This is a library after all. Maybe I should shut you up.” She brought her quill to the paper.
Twilight was gagged by a…
She paused, thinking for a moment. Then a wicked idea came to mind. I'll show you who's acting foalish.
Twilight was gagged by a pacifier.
Immediately a rubber nipple appeared in Twilight’s mouth and her lips were forced closed. She attempted to spit it out the very next second, but the guard of her new pacifier was connected to a thick strap that went all the way around her head, tightly locking it in place.
She made a few more cursory attempts to push the infantile thing out of her mouth, but the strap made it impossible. At best she was just suckling on the device, and color flushed to her cheeks at the realization.
Looking up at Moon Dancer she tried to appeal to the unicorn’s sense of decency. “Mmf! Mmmph mmm!”
It didn’t go very well.
Moon Dancer chuckled at her helplessness. “What’s the matter, little princess? You’ve been acting like a foal all day with how you’ve been bothering me. I just assumed you wanted to be treated like one.”
“Mrph!”
“Let’s see if we can’t treat you like a foal a little more, hmm?”
“Mmm?”
Moon Dancer’s quill pecked at the page as she devised her next punishment for the princess. Twilight wanted to run away, but there was nowhere she could go. She was completely confined on this page, and would be until Moon Dancer returned her horn. Her only option was to comply and hope Moon Dancer would return her ability to use magic.
But that was not very high on the list of things Moon Dancer was planning to do.
An extra thick diaper appeared around Twilight’s waist.
Twilight’s hind legs were pushed apart as Moon Dancer’s change was put into effect. A sudden sea of plush padding wrapped around her bottom.
She turned to see the fluffy, white garment that she was now wearing. With every slight shift she could hear the plastic softly crinkle. It hugged her in a way that, frustratingly, felt sort of nice. Though Twilight would never admit that.
She turned back to Moon Dancer, face flushed. This was going too far. Twilight chewed her pacifier as she tried to think of a way out of this.
Moon Dancer, on the other hoof, suppressed a laugh. Twilight looked ridiculous in her current get-up, but she wasn’t through just yet. It was unlikely that Twilight had learned her lesson. To ensure the rest of her day would be annoyance free, Moon Dancer wrote some more.
Twilight found herself in a crib, with bars too tall for her to climb out of.
Before she could even blink, Twilight was surrounded by thin bars on all sides that stretched up taller than even Celestia. Below her was a soft mattress with pink sheets.
Moon Dancer grinned. “I’m going to leave you alone for a few hours now, little filly. Be a good girl and you can come out when I’m done with my studying.”
“Mmph!” Twilight demanded. She was sick of this. Surely Moon Dancer wouldn’t go through with her insane plan. She pushed herself up, and waddled to the edge of the crib. She tried to climb out, but her hooves couldn't find a grip on the slick bars. She fell back down, landing on her padded rump. Standing back up, Twilight refused to be beaten. "Mmmr Mmph Mmhmm!"
“Oh, was that back-talk I heard?” Moon Dancer tsked disappointedly. “Let’s fix that, shall we?”
Twilight felt an immense pressure in her bladder and bowels.
Twilight doubled over, her stomach cramping heavily. Her diapered bottom landed on the mattress of the crib and she grunted into her pacifier.
The need to go was so sudden, so urgent, that she knew she wouldn’t be able to resist for long.
As she resisted the urge to poop herself, her control over her bladder waned. Urine trickled out slowly at first, but as her body gave up the fight it became a steady stream.
There was a hissing noise as her diaper happily soaked up the pee, bulging and staining yellow. As her bladder mercifully emptied, Twilight sighed with partial relief.
She was still, however, contending with the insane pressure in her bowels. She shifted, her diaper squishing against her pelvis, and looked up at Moon Dancer. Twilight whined into her pacifier, hoping for pity, or mercy, or anything.
Unfortunately for her, Moon Dancer was enjoying herself too much. “Aww, did the foal wet her diapee?” She taunted.
Twilight’s cheeks stung with embarrassment. She couldn't hold it in anymore. With a frustrated grunt she hiked up her tail and pushed. A steaming mess flooded into her diaper, pushing into the seat. What little had escaped dry from her pee was now stained brown.
She flopped onto her back, defeated as more and more of the mess filled up her diaper. She continued pooping herself for a full minute before it finally ended, the nasty substance coating her butt and flanks. The stench attacked her nostrils a few seconds later, causing her to gag.
Moon Dancer let out laugh. “Looks like somebody made an oopsie. Can’t really call yourself a Princess now, huh? I think rulers of Equestria are required to be potty trained.”
Twilight’s face couldn’t get any redder as she whimpered into the pacifier.
“So, have you learned your lesson yet, Twilight?”
Twilight meekly nodded. She was humiliated and helpless; there was little more she could do now than give into Moon Dancer's demands.
“And if I let you out you’re going to leave me alone?”
She nodded again.
“Good.” Moon Dancer slammed her journal shut, sealing Twilight inside. “Then maybe when I’m done reading today I’ll let you go. Don’t worry, it shouldn’t take more than eight-ish hours”
She slid the journal into her saddlebags, sighing with relief now that she was finally able to study in peace.
