The Shadow's Curse

Princess Celestia walked into her selected isle. Her horn glowed golden, picking up every book. Her hope was to put all of the titles into her mind, so she would know which book would be correct.

Celestia stopped, walking to the third bookshelf. She pulled out the tenth book on the fifth shelf down. "King Sombra: The Ruler of Darkness," she read aloud. The white alicorn scanned the Table of Contents, seeing chapters with names like, 'The complete history of King Sombra' and 'Possible prophecies'. She was satisfied, and brought the book with her, as she left her isle.
