Fearless
Hazeline licked her fangs and twitched her bat-like wings in anticipation. Unlike her parents, she wanted to go beyond the Ever free forest and live more than a life of isolation.
“Hazeline you know it’s dangerous out there and they will have the princesses on us!”
Hazeline shuddered at her mother’s fearful words. As scary as those words are, she doesn’t want to live this life of nothingness, where hiding in fear on the unknown is all they did.
Hazeline saw the ponies have talents that make them different from everyone else.
“I want that…”
The sun was starting to poke through the night and Hazeline sat at the edge of the Ever free, unsure of where to go. She pulled her cloak closer to herself before she exhaled a breath she never knew she was holding.
“If you don’t do this now, you’ll never do it”
“Don’t let the chains of your species hold you back”
“You’re not fearful”
“You’re fearless”
Hazeline ran out into the light of a new day.
        The light of a new journey.
