The Aragon Revolution

by Stlat
Unsuspecting of the severe situation within Aragon, a prominent trade hub between Equestria and her eastern neighbors across the sea, Ernst Schulz finds himself in the thick of the unrest as the subjugated minorities take a stand for their liberties.

Equestria's perpetual golden age continues unchallenged as friendship and love reign above all in Celestia's prosperous lands. But that is merely their continent, what of those Eastern lands? Those lands dominated by The Empire, a prosperous and rather aggressive nation that is predominantly ruled by the griffons, are trying to desperately trying keep the economy afloat in a nation plagued with a deeply rooted racism as The Empire's grip one of it's last overseas colonies wanes as the oppressed rise.

Aragon, a central trade hub located between the Eastern Continent ruled by The Empire and Equestria, is plagued with strife, racism and unrest as the griffon lords and statesmen try desperately to keep a hold on the generations old colony renown for its mineral wealth and cheap labor while the oppressed cry out their rage and displeasure to The Empire in the hope of separating from their spiteful rulers.

Ernst Schulz, a man with plans that could change the face of how all view warfare, finds himself in the thick of the turmoil with no plans on joining a side. Yet, in a time where many haven't had war and many have grown ignorant to its atrocities and ravenous consumption of life, it becomes a strenuous task for one not to support a mere summer war for the freedom of a people long oppressed in an isolated island.
