//-------------------------------------------------------// ADAGIO 2: THE HIGH LIFE -by pork984- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Lets get the life started //-------------------------------------------------------// Lets get the life started Death was something she never really wanted to have happen to herself. Especially twice…Heartbreak… That was something that had been boiling inside her ever since the day. Her whole world burned into dust. Everything she held dear was gone. That was Adagio’s initial thought after she had died the second time. Aria and Sonata had showed up to give her some new found courage. Also knowledge to the three lives curse her mother had told her about. Adagio always thought that the curse was just a bunch of bullshit. A bunch of bullshit that had just given her the second chance to get everything back together, Especially now that Canterlot High was burned to the ground. Unfortunately thing would prove to be a little more difficult this time. Rainbow dash and Ron had finally built up some popularity for not only discovering a mythical species but also for killing it before it killed anyone else. Of course after they were done dealing with animal protection services they found themselves in a mansion with louds of money. What of Adagio?  Living in a homeless lot was not her idea of happiness. With her amulet still together she would be able to do this easier. All she had to do was resurrect the pieces of the other amulets that were currently at Ron’s old apartment. “Adagio I’m not going anywhere until I finish the fucking can of beans.” Aria said as she looked at Adagio with her mulberry colored eyes. Aria’s hair was rather roughed up and messy as was everyone’s hair here. Unfortunately Adagio could mind control their way into a nice house. Her magic seemed weakened now that she knew her friends were alive. “Aria, you will come now or you’re going to be in a lot of trouble with me. So please do the world a favor and get off your round ass and move it over here.” Adagio said as she glanced over at Sonata was eating a taco. Adagio had a slight look of confusion for she was wondering how she managed to get a taco with the current living situation. She quickly shook the thoughts away as she returned her gaze to her stubborn friend and companion. “Adagio, your only concerned about vengeance on the human you were dumb enough to have relations with. Thought you might had learned from last time that you’re hurting the pack when you make these kinds of mistakes. I’m not trying to disrespect your position as alpha. I only wish you would force us to fight for the emotion of love that you gained for a human.” Aria dropped the can of beans as she stood up slowly. Her eyes now looking back into Adagio’s, Aria was always the lose end in the pack of three. Adagio wish she had the means to discipline her actions. There was no way to discipline her when she did not possess her own amulet. Adagio could accidentally kill her when Aria was not wearing it. This was another reason Adagio wanted the necklaces all back where they needed to be. So it would be easier to play her role as alpha of her pack. “I would listen Aria, I thing Dagi know what she’s talking about.” Sonata said in her high pitched and rather annoying voice. “After all she has carried the both of us out of some sticky situations… or did you forget that already?” Sonata finished her taco as she stuck her own fingers in her mouth one by one. “Sonata no one asked for your opinion~!” Aria said as she raised her voice. “Do you even know what we are talking about?” Aria said as her right eye twitched slightly. “Like seriously I swear you mind is in bum fuck nowhere most the time.” Aria said in an insulting manor as Sonata shrug off the insults like she always did. “Girls we don’t need to argue about this.” Adagio made a gesture with her hand for her companions to come close. She put one arm around each of them. “We are a family and it will always be that way… Do you remember Sonata when we sunk that ship way back in the 1800’s? That Englishman was going to cut your head off…Who saved you?” Sonata looked at Aria with a soft smile. “A-aria did, I owe her for that to this day.” Sonata felt warmer inside thinking about the sister like love they all shared, even though sometimes it seemed like they all hated each other. “Aria, who stuck by your side when we were pups? When your parents died who was there for you?” Adagio said as she looked into Arias eyes. “Y-you did Adagio, You and your family took me in like I was their own.” Aria teared up slightly as she thought about her own parents. “That was so long ago, way before we were banished.” “Be that as it may, our love for each other remains. I will always be there for you when you need me… I expect the same in return from the both of you.” Adagio said before kissing the both of them on the cheek. “Now come, let’s get our lives back together.”  Adagio started to walk towards the nearby street, Her raspberry eyes glanced back to see her companions were following her now. She gave a slight smile as she walked. The sun light hit them like a warm wall as they came out into the light. Despite their hair being all messy it managed to be such a soft glowing beauty. That was one of the perks of being a siren; you always have the essence of beauty in the eyes of almost all beholders. Aria looked at adagio to see her amulet was shimmering in the red magic aura that represented when it was using power. Once they were all out in the light Adagio was now wearing a familiar red dress. She stretched her red gloves and snapped them slightly as golden dust started to sparkle off her friends as they now all had on some rather nice attire. Aria looked at herself to see the darkest dress she had ever worn in her life. The netting around the neck looked much like spider webs as the base color of the dress was a very dark emerald green. Sonata was wearing a blue twin to what Adagio was wearing. Adagio looked up into the sky and took a deep breath as she felt rather alive.  She turned to look at her friends. “You both look beautiful; we have an apartment to visit and then a house to steal? What do you think?” She gave her signature devilish grin as she thought about her simplistic plan. “As long as you let me keep this dress I will do it~!” Sonata squealed as she was jumping up and down. “I will have to be with Sonata on this one…Lets do this.” Aria said as she felt like she was actually attractive for once. Adagio looked them both over as she then proceeded to try and jog her own memory as to where Ron used to live. Adagio closed her eyes in thought as she thought; when the memory hit her she opened her eyes and walked right into the road in front of a nice Cadillac. The driver stepped on the break as he came to a screeching halt a couple inches away from hitting Adagio. Both of her friends flinched briefly. The driver angrily got out of his car as he started yelling at her. This man was familiar. Adagio saw it was none other than Ron’s father. Once he noticed he was yelling at a dead girl he tried making a break for his car. When he turned to enter he was intercepted by the seductive look of not one but three sirens. Aria and Sonata may not have their magic but it didn’t stop their natural Siren lure from working now and again. “Come on now, we don’t need any trouble.” He said as he started backing away. He closed his eyes and bumped into Adagio who was now behind him again. “Trouble… your right we all don’t need any of that… So if you could be a darling and give us all a ride to a couple places, we would be very grateful.” Adagio said as she nipped at his ear. Ron’s father was slowly slipping into a controlled state of mind. She was putting the man under a spell to allow no mishaps upon getting in his car. “I would have no problem driving you everywhere you and your friends would like to go.” He said in a monotone voice as he slowly opened the door for each of them. “Please do come in.” Ron’s father was hopelessly under Adagio’s spell now. The three sirens got in the car, Adagio rubbed her hand on the leather seats as the father entered the vehicle. “I don’t believe you charming son ever told me your name.” Adagio said as she snapped her fingers together to make him give the info she needed. “My name is Stephen; you can call me Steve if you would rather.” He said as he started to slowly drive to the destination Adagio had implanted in the man’s head. “Well Stephen you’re going to make three people very powerful today.” She said as the irises on her eyes were now blood red.
