Starting Slow (Feeling Pinkie Keen)
After narrowly avoiding her doom in Froggy Bottom Bog, Fluttershy was feeling a bit shaken up but she wouldn't miss her first date with Rarity for anything.
She trotted towards Rarity's house eager to start their night together, only to find her waiting on the outside of the boutique.
"There you are dear! I have been wondering where you were."
"I'm awfully sorry Rarity, we had some trouble at Froggy Bottom Bog but I'm more than ready to head out now if you are."
"But of course, it's a rather lovely night out, perhaps we could eat outside?"
"Yes, it is a nice night, and that sounds lovely, Rarity."
The two had a lovely dinner and decided to do some shopping around town. After a while of running around town together they laid down in an open patch of grass watching the stars in the night sky.
Fluttershy eventually spoke up, "This has been a wonderful night Rarity, but I should probably get going. Angel still needs a bath and if I stay I may just fall asleep here."
"I suppose it is starting to get rather late. Thank you for such a lovely evening Fluttershy, would you like to me walk you back to your cottage?"
"Oh, that would wonderful!"
On their walk back something came to Rarity's mind, "Say, what ever was that 'trouble' you mentioned in Froggy Bottom Bog?"
"Oh, i-it was a... hydra."
Rarity was shocked "A what?"
"A hydra.."
"There is a hydra down there?! It didn't hurt any of you did it?"
"No, we all got away fine."
"You should be more careful, darling, I don't know what I would do if I lost you!"
"I will but I had no idea about the hydra. Thankfully some of our friends came to by to save me from it though."
"Speaking of which, when do you want to tell them about, us?"
Fluttershy stopped and thought for a moment, "Oh my, I'm not sure, I hadn't thought about it."
"Perhaps when we are more 'settled' then?"
"That would probably be for the best, okay then." Fluttershy nodded in agreement.
They eventually made it to Fluttershy's home.
"Thank you again for such a lovely night, Fluttershy." Rarity gave her a small kiss on the cheek, making Fluttershy blush slightly.
"It was my pleasure, I hope we can do this again sometime soon."
They both said their goodbyes and went to sleep.
Confessions (Suited For Success)
Between designing 2 gala dresses for each of her 5 friends as well as her own dress, Rarity was feeling quite exhausted, she collapsed on her bed however she couldn't calm herself down. There was a certain something or rather, somepony on her mind.
Fluttershy. Fluttershy was on her mind, she has been for a while now but after seeing how amazing she looked in her finished Gala dress, Rarity couldn't keep her mind off of her for very long.
She knew why Fluttershy was on her mind, but they've only gotten stronger from seeing her earlier today. Rarity stared at the clock, 6pm still too early to sleep the night. She sighed and climbed out of bed. She wanted to see Fluttershy, she wanted to see her more than anypony else at the time and that's just what she planned to do.
She knocked on the door to Fluttershy's cottage before taking a small step back. Fluttershy answered the door quickly lightly poking her head out before realizing who was there and opening it fully.
Rarity's presence couldn't help but make her smile, "Oh, hello there Rarity, what brings you out here?"
Rarity blinked in a clueless fashion, she had no real reasoning behind showing up at Fluttershy's beside wanting to see her again. "W-well I just though I would pay one of my best friends a visit," Rarity answered in a slightly tremulous tone. "No offense meant but I don't believe you get many visitors living so far away from everyone else."
"Not really, but I'm glad that you came to say hello, I was just thinking about you earlier." Fluttershy answered shyly .
Rarity took a moment to think about what she was about to say, it may seem out of the blue but she been harboring these feelings for too long now to keep going like this.
"Well, Fluttershy it's funny you should say that because you have been on my mind a lot lately. Why, I spend more time thinking about then I do about anypony else these days."
Fluttershy looked shocked almost taken aback "R-really? That much?"
"Yes," Rarity continued "
