"Pinkie Pie don't you give up on us!" Twilight yelled at the unconscious Pinkie Pie. The pink partier didn't move at all, her breathing was steady, but abnormal. Apple Jack had tears streaming down her face with a sobbing Rarity on her back. In the back was the heartbroken cyan teen; she stared at the non-moving pink partier. She didn't feel anything, her heart was dead, or at least it felt like it. She was shocked, sad, horrified, but most of all she felt rage inside. Rage that Pinkie Pie died on her. Rage that she had to see her best friend go, but at the top of all that, she felt rage of seeing herself watch Pinkie Pie die infront of her. She did nothing to try and save Pinkie Pie. She just stood there and watched her die, like it was some play.
Twilight turned around and saw the cyan athlete standing in one place, not saying a word. She hardly even blinked, and her breathing was slow. Twilight walked up to her and waved her hand in her face to see if she reacted to it, of course she did.
"Rainbow snap out of your day dream!" Twilight yelled at the cyan ahlete's face. Rainbow blinked a bit and her eyes swelled with tears and poured down her face, her emotions finally realizing the situation. As soon as the tears fell, the flatline fell flat, giving the long beeep..., indicating that Pinkie Pie was dead. Rainbow's heart stopped, frozen infact, and sped up again having Rainbow Dash screaming at her dead friend. The door burst open with Sunset Shimmer in the doorway and a red eyed face, showing her resent sobbing. Rainbow continued screaming, causing everyone to cover their ears to try and shield off the deafening screech. That caused the nurse to run into the room to try and drag the cyan teen out of the room and calm her down. Of course that didn't work; the nurse had to call more nurses in to get Rainbow Dash out of the E.R. Rainbow clawed the air and tears still fled down, and screams seemed to die down, and her screams became rough and scratchy.
"Honey I'll need you to calm down a tone.." one nurse asked in a cooed voice. Rainbows cries still continued, her ignoring the request of the nurse. The nurses grabbed ahold of Rainbow Dash a bit more ferm, and forced her out of them room. The rest of the group of friends stared in complete shock of how their friend reacted to Pinkie's flatline.
One nurse still lingered, and sighed; "I'm so sorry girls about how your friend responded. I know how it feels to loose a friend or two in something tragic." The nurse had somewhat of a high pitch voice as she said to the group. The group looked at each other and tilted their head. They know that nurse from somewhere, but can't put their finger on it. Her smell was the smell of something rotten, maybe she didn't live somewhere to good?
"Um.. Excuse me- ma'am? Not to be rude.. But why do you smell.." Sunset started as Rarity interrupted.
"Why is your, sent, not like a fresh pair of a batch of flowers? Aheheh.." Rarity continued with a small nervous laugh at the end. The nurse looked over at the two and gave a small smile. "Oh? I came from my friend's softball game and she gave the sent to me!" The group nodded and examined the girl, she was sure too young to be a nurse, she had to be! Twilight walked up to her and looked at her.
"Hey, aren't you..? Are you that one girl from the Battle of the Bands? Aria I suppose?" Twlight touched base on. The nurse sighed and nodded, dropping her high voice and replying.
"You guys got me, surprise! Nice to see you all again." Aria said with sarcasm dripping from her voice. "I guess I should explain, shall I?
"After the Battle of the Bands, me, Sonata, and Adagio split up from each other. Sonata went to a taco place because of her obsession of tacos and Adagio went to somewhere, I don't even know.. And I'm stuck here because I needed money fast, and I'm only a student here.." The group of friends nodded and turned to face the dead Pinkie Pie, sighing. Twilight walked over to her and put her hand on Pinkie's, rubbing the top of it in a circle. She turned her head at a 90° angle towards the group and dropped Pinkie's hand. Her hand slipped from Pinkie's, and suspended in the air connected to her body above the metal railing of her hospital bed.
Aria waved the group a goodbye and walked out of the room and away from the room. The group stood in a circle, and left one-by-one out of the room and into the hallway, soon outside. Once they all escaped outside, the noticed Rainbow Dash standing, facing away from the group, staring at the sky of the setting sun, singing softly a song no one knew. AppleJack walked over to her and tapped her on the shoulder, trying to get Rainbow's attention. Rainbw turned around, stopping the song and smiled.
"Ya okay Sugarcube?" AppleJack asked. Rainbow nodded and sung the song quietly again, turning around once more, and some parts scaring the group. Sunset Shimmer walked up and locked eyes with Rainbow Dash. "What song are you signing Rainbow? And where did you hear it?" Without saying a word, Rainbow walked forward, completely ignoring the two questions. Sunset stomped her foot on the ground and raised her voice, almost yelling out, "Rainbow Dash! I asked you a question!" Rainbow turned her head with an innocent smile, then turning her complete body around. Her voice was sharp, and a little rough,"You don't want to know.." Rainbow wobbled a bit, holding her head, as a notification for someone to help her stand upright. Twilight ran over and did just that, asking her questions like "Where did that song come up from? Why is your balance not normal? Are you okay? Will we need to help take you home?" etc. Rainbow looked down, a tired expression framed in her face. Her breathing was steady, and her blinks were slow. That answered one question: they needed to get Rainbow home fast.

Once the group got to Rainbows house, they were awed by the beauty.
"Darling.. This- this is magnificent!" Rarity commented, almost falling over. Rainbow looked over and smiled faintly, thanking her in a soft voice.
"I'll take her in.. So you guys can look for answers.. I-if that is okay with you, I suppose.." Fluttershy spoke up. Twilight put a hand on Fluttershy's shoulder and smiled, thanking her and dashed off with the rest of the friends following. Fluttershy took in Rainbow and placed her ontop of the couch, making sure she's comfy. Rainbow fluttered her eyes, drooping them, letting herself succumb into sleep. Fluttershy smiled and turned around and decided to take a stroll into the depths of the house.
Fluttershy looked at the kitchen first, seeing a black refrigerator with a large rainbow lightning bolt handle, as her cutie mark. She looked over to other appliances, seeing a microwave with cloudes to the sides of the microwave and it being black. Fluttershy looked over and saw on the wooden counter a set of knives for chopping up food. On the other side was the oven snd stove with a towel suspending off the handle of the stove. Above it was a wooden cabinet with a rainbow lightning bolt as the handles, just the same as the refrigerator's knobe, but smaller.
Fluttershy exited the kitchen and when to the hallway that is right by the kitchen. She saw a door that was littered with posters of famous soccer players, a soccer ball, and her cutie mark once more. Fluttershy opened the door, seeing a room as it looked like it was just cleaned up. Rainbows bed was a white mattress, shaped as a cloud. It held at least three pillows: a soccer ball, her cutie mark, and plane white one. It had a blue blanket with a electric blue lightning bolt on it. She turned to see a few trophies on her shelf, with a litter of metals. Fluttershy took a trophy down and examined it, seeing the words: Canterlot High School soccer team. She placed it down and walked out of the room, not wanting to intrude onto anything else.

The group rummaged through the library, but not finding any book to supply the group with any knowledge to help them with. Twilight flipped through every book she could find, but leaving dry.
"ARGH!!" Twilight yelled, throwing the book towards the wall in anger. Rarity yelped and ducks, as the book would of slammed in
her face if she hadn't. Rarity got up slowly, brushing off a little dust off her skirt, and poked her head up, hearing the wooden shelf moaning, threatening to tumble over as crushing a fly, and that fly being Rarity. The shelf tilted back, then forward, then back again, just toying with Rarity. Rarity's legs trembled, her frozen in her steps; that notified someone to have to tackle her out of the way. AppleJack did just that, and lunged at Rarity and grabbed her arm and threw her body near someone to catch her. AppleJack ran out of the way to get out of collision, as the shelf toppled over blanketing the other books, crushing them.
"Ya' alright, Sugarcube?" AppleJack asked, her heart pounding. Rarity still was shaking, but managed to nod. Twilight covered her face with a book and yelled into it. Sunset Shimmer walked over to Twilight and patted her back, trying to calm her down. Twilight looked up, her eyes red as she'd been crying into the book.
"Twilight, it's okay.. Just calm down, please. You know this won't help.." Sunset tried to reassure Twilight. Twilight just pulled her knees up toward her face and began hugging them, trying to comfort herself from everything. She breathed in, and exhaled out, calming herself; once she was done, she wiped her tears and stood up.
"Guys, I found something! Come over!" Rarity yelled in excitement. Twilight scrambled over and looked over Rarity's shoulder, examining what she had found.
"Madness," Twilight read aloud. "Known as insanity, madness could corrupt anyone at anytime, but it's main threat is when someone has witnessed something that triggered them, such as a death of a friend, family member, etc. Or they'd been bullied a lot, causing themselves to do harm to others to get revenge. If one of your friends/family have been influenced by insanity, it's most likely caused b-" and it stopped, having ink spatter the page and it drift off the page, and blood splatter on the page also; the book lended a cliffhanger for someone to solve, in which they didn't have time. It looks as Rainbow had Madness, which isn't good at all.
Dreams.. That are possibly nightmares..
Rainbow Dash bolted her eyes awake, seeing she was in a dark room. The room was an asylum cell, and it was blanketed with white pads and nothing more. Miraculously, she wasn't in a strate jacket so she could move freely. She stood up and walked around, hearing cameras moving her every movement. She was being watched, which she didn't like. Rainbow turned her head to where the camera was, but it wasn't a camera, it was more of a head of Pinkie Pie that had a camera stuffed in her mouth watching Rainbow. She shuttered, as a few tears slipped out.
Soon the door of the cell moaned open, and a chilly mist blew inside the cell revealing someone the height of Rainbow. Her face was covered up and she wore a docter's outfit, with her pony tails sticking out. She held a clipboard and a pen, writing stuff down. She muttered something that Rainbow couldn't hear or understand, so she walked up to the nurse/docter so she could hear her better. The nurse didn't even acknowledge that Rainbow was even there. Somethings that she could hear were, "She'a growing more insane, soon we won't be able to help her.." W-was she talking about Rainbow?
Rainbow Dash panicked and breathed heavily. The nurse turned around and walked out of the cell, leaving Rainbow to herself, at least, that's what she kept telling herself.
Rainbow heard some chuckles behind her, and she told herself to stay calm at all costs. She turned her head to only see nothing but darkness. Aw, Rainbow Dash! Is that how you think of me? Nothing? Something taunted Rainbow. She jumped, confused and scared of what lurked near her. The thing chuckled again, but it was echoy instead of a regular chuckle. Rainbow gulped and backed up to the padded wall nearest the door. She trembled in fear, not knowing what to do. This wasn't the Rainbow Dash she knew, no, the Rainbow right here is nothing compared to the old her. She wasn't scared of a stupid voice, she didn't tremble in fear, she wasn't her.
That's right Rainbow Dash! Why not stop trying to go back into the past, and look into the future! The voice replied to her thoughts. Maybe it was right, maybe she should look into the future of herself. But what would that be? Who would she be? She didn't know, but one small piece of herself is crying out to not do it, don't give in, but, she was curious now, she couldn't back off. "I could answer your question Rainbow Dash! Just let me take over your body so you can kindly see! Rainbow Dash backed off, as the deal concerned her. Aren't you curious Rainbow? If you let me take control, you can see your future! Just say yes, and our deal is on! Rainbow didn't know how to answer the deal: should she, or should she not?
Rainbow Dash finally made up her mind and nodded her head, and the voice chuckled uncontrollably. A figure appeared infront of Rainbow Dash, seeming her same exact height. The figure formed to be herself, but a crazed version. She wore a a black dress with a white collar with three white buttons under it; she also had knee high, sneaker boots. Her hair was tinted a blacker version of her's, and she had blood splatter everywhere on herself. The opposite smiled, or more like smirked, and grabbed Rainbow Dash's shoulder. Thank YOU for setting me free from my prison, Rainbow Dash.. Now YOU'LL rote inside this cell like I did! Rainbow breathed in rapidly and felt chains appear on her, and the chains dragged her into the everlasting darkness, just like the counterpart had to.
The counterpart Rainbow Dash opened one eye to see she was on the couch of Her house. She got up and saw she was in her other's clothing and smiled. Her feet hoisted her body up towards the kitchen to see she had the bright rainbow hair instead of darker tinted rainbow. Suddenly, she heard a squeal behind her as peach arms rapped around her. The counter Rainbow turned her head and recognized this girl to be Fluttershy.
"I'm so happy to see you awake Rainbow Dash!" Fluttershy said louder than her regular voice. The counterpart Rainbow Dash smiled and hugged her back, trying not to be suspicious of her behavior. Soon the door bursted open as Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, and Sunset Shimmer were standing in the doorway. Twilight glared at the counterpart and grabbed her arm as she dragged her away.
"W-what are you doing!?" Fluttershy sqeaked. Twilight looked over and sighed as she replied; "You see Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash has Madness, and that Madness has a form of themself who has a darker tint of their hair and each of them has their own style of dressing up. They seem sweet and innocent at first but can become real monsters if triggered. I need to see if Rainbow Dash's Madness is anywhere in her body to make sure." Rainbow Dash panicked a bit, but eased as she remembered she could block out any signs of her Madness. Twilight continued dragging the counterpart Rainbow Dash outside and let go so she could walk freely. Twilight continued to keep close watch on 'Rainbow Dash' to see if she presented any sign of Madness.
The counterpart felt relief to be free, and alive. She needed to have fun, her fun. She turned her head as she smirked, as a devilish idea bubbled in her head as she thought of a plan for it to work.
In her mind, she continued to hear the yelps of Rainbow Dash and her cries. Music to the counter's ears!
Let me go! *sobs* I-I beg of you-! ACK!! The counter loved screams of agony and terror, it fueled herself to harm more..
And more..
AND MORE!! She couldn't describe how it felt so GOOD and it was like a nice jog in the morning, but instead with screams of pain and agony. She couldn't believe she tricked Rainbow Dash so easily, or she could because she was a master of manipulation and persuasion.
"We're here finally!" Twilight exclaimed with a tint of delight. The counterpart rolled her eyes and stepped into the small house. She blocked her mind of any trace of Madness, instead she filled it with what Rainbow Dash would have inside her head. The counterpart looks around, amazed. Twilight smiled and grabbed the counter's wrist and began dragging her to a chair with a little metal 'hat', and took deep examination in the counter's mind.
