Her purple mane remained a mess for she had just woken up; the pony was half asleep and didn’t know where she was going. It appeared to be nighttime still, and she felt the need to eat. “Oops.” The mare yawned as she accidentally knocked down a plate, breaking it. She jumped and yelped in pain as she stepped on the glass, not paying full attention. “Oh Celestia.” Twilight levitated the glass into the trash can, “What time is it?” she asked herself. Looking outside of the window, the mare noticed a few ponies staring up in shock at the moon. Curious, the pony flew out of the window and down to their sides. “Princess Twilight!” the pony known as Derpy scurried over “Is Princess Celestia okay?” Twilight tilted her head in concern. “Why do you ask?” she replied. Derpy went blank for a moment before replying, “It’s 8:30 and the sun isn’t up!” The Pegasus said with a frightened expression. Twilight gasped, then smiled afterwards, “M-Maybe you read your clock wrong, she has a strict order for Luna to wake her up so she can raise the sun.” “No. My clock is right.” Derpy frowned. A stallion with a light blue coat trotted over, “Derpy is right!” he said showing the princess a clock. “Oh no!” Twilight flew up into the castle with great speed “Spike, wake up!” She flew over him, the wind making his blanket fly up. “Five more minutes.” The baby dragon mumbled turned. The mare paced back and forth around the room, “Spike! This is serious! Get up!” Twilight lifted him up with her magic and gave him a worried expression. Spike frowned and yawned, “If I do this, will you let me go back to bed?” the princess nodded “Okay.” Twilight dropped him and began pacing again, “Take note of this Spike.” She demanded in a hurry. The sleepy dragon pulled out a scroll and a quill, “ready.” He yawned. “Dear Princess Celestia,” Spike wrote the words on the scroll “I have acknowledged that you haven’t risen the sun on time. Hours late to be exact. This worries me dearly. “The mare paced faster along with her tone getting even more worried “Have you been held hostage by Chrysalis, again? Has another nation declared war on Equestria!? Are you ill?? Have you-“Spike interrupted her, “I only have so much room on the paper Twilight.” “Okay.” Twilight took a breath. “Please respond immediately.  Sincerely, your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle.” Spike rolled up the scrolled and let his green flames consume the paper and watched the smoke make its way out to Canterlot. Spike yawned and sat on his bed, “Can I go back to sleep now?” he asked. “No! Not until the princess replies!” The purple pony snapped at the dragon. He sighed. Hours had passed and the princess never replied, “Okay,” Spike said, “That’s worrying too, she hasn’t replied.” The baby dragon frowned. “What should we do?” he asked. “I-I…” Twilight couldn’t finish her words. “I don’t know!” she yelled before getting in a fit of stressful attempts of taking a breath. Spike stared, and then it hit him. “I know what to do!” he said as he ran over to grab another scroll and began to write. “Dear Princess Luna,”
