Agentsby Guy with a Fimfic acountChaptersPrologueDayInvitationCrashed *Unedited and Unfinished*PrologueDarkness. Pure darkness. That's all behemoth could see when he regained consciousness. While his eyes were adjusting to the darkness of the room he was in he could make out a large laboratory with five tables, holding all sorts of medical tech. A large tv screen then revealed itself as it came through a hole in the floor. Behemoth closed his eyes as the bright screen blinded him for a few seconds before adjusting to it. The brightly lit screen showed a full body scan of his anatomy. From what he could tell by looking at it, his pulse was fine, all broken bones were healed, and showed his robotic enhancements were working properly, this got behemoth attention. When he looked down, he realized his arm was robotic and so was his leg. Naturally, behemoth freaked out and tried to move. Only to realize he was in shackles attached to the wall. He snarled at his predicament. “Great.” He thought. “You're up early.” Starlight said as she walked through the door, turning on a light switch, . Behemoth, quickly turned to the source of the voice. “and your ears are working.” Starlight said with a deadpan expression. Behemoth flared his nostrils in anger and wanted to be free, but he knew yelling wouldn't solve it. “How long have I been here? Where am I?” Behemoth asked inspecting the place. The room was quiet except for the monitors surrounding him. You're 500ft below the surface of China in one of the most fortified bases on the planet. And to answer your other question, you've been here for five weeks.” Starlight answered. “Why, Am I alive?” Behemoth asked as he felt a headache coming in and a burst of memories coming in of what happened before he got here. He then muttered names in anger that starlight recognized. "Norman." Behemoth muttered as he clenched his hand, along with the new robotic arm. starlight took notice of his ability to move his robotic limb, writing it down on her paper. “Luck. Our weapon barely hit anything important. Other than your arm and leg.” She spoke calmly. “Do you know my name?” Starlight asked solemnly. Behemoth, to answer her, got a look of her and recognized her almost instantly. “Starlight Glimmer.” Behemoth said. “Good.” She replied pulling up a chair. “So. You are?” “Behemoth.” He answered. “And, is that your real name.” “No.” Behemoth answered. “Care to tell me?” Starlight asked. “No.” He said. Starlight, sat down on a chair next to him and continued writing “How about we talk about each other.” Starlight suggested. “and do what? Talk about our feelings.” Behemoth chuckled. “Behemoth, I'm someone who can make your life a living hell, so I suggest not joking around with me.” Starlight answered solemnly. “Sorry, ma'am, but my life is already hell. So I don't think you can make it any worse.” Behemoth said. “And by hell do you mean what you're in now. Or what you've been doing?” “Both.” Behemoth said truthfully. “Care to explain?” Starlight asked. “I've murdered billions. Sometimes I would just stalk them, others I'd let them destroy themselves. “And do you regret these actions?” Starlight. “I'm 50/50.” Behemoth said. “They didn't see what I could see.” Behemoth said. “And what was that?” “The truth.” “Care to explain, the truth.” Starlight said. “No. You wouldn't understand.” “Are you sure about that.” Starlight said as she wrote down what he was saying onto the board. "Very." Behemoth answered. “How about we change the subject.” Starlight said, getting a new piece of paper. “Do you remember your past.” Starlight asked. “All of it.” Behemoth spoke with pure sadness, starlight quickly took note of. "How about we talk about it." Starlight said solemnly. "I'm sure you'd like to hear me speak about my home." behemoth said. "Yes, actually. That's why i'm here, to get information." She answered. "And for what kind of information?" "Just comparison." Starlight replied. "Well there aren't any humans where i'm from." He answered. "I'm guessing your race was the dominant species." "In a way, yes." behemoth nodded. "Alright, how about civilization?" She asked. "Nowhere near as modern as this world. We weren't allowed to advance." "What do you mean, Weren't allowed?" "Our masters." Behemoth said. "So your race were slaves." She commented. "Yes, we were controlled by Six, or used to." He nodded. “Was your race set free? “No, the most powerful one killed the other five.” "What were these six?" "Sin in physical form." "Their leader was-" Behemoth was interrupted by what felt like a shock through his head, and a whisper inside him. “Shhhh…” it said. "Are you alright." Starlight said still sitting on the chair. “I'm fine. Why did you fix me?” Behemoth asked, attempting to change the subject. “It was my decision to keep you alive. Only a few know you're here. Behemoth, I have a plan, a plan that requires help from people I don't usually talk to.” “What do you need me for?” “A little shopping that involves traveling around the globe.” Starlight said. “And what if I don't help you?” Behemoth said. “A future far worse than death.” Starlight answered. "Are you sure about that?" He said with doubt. “Sounds like I have no choice.” Behemoth said. “Alright,i'll follow your plan.” He answered. “Good." She added. "So, when do we start?" Behemoth smiled. "It might take a while. In the meanwhile I want you to listen and answer any questions asked by the doctors and my assistant." Starlight said getting up from the chair. "Assistant?" "Yes, don't say a word about our conversation to her. Everything we discussed shall remain classified. Got that?” “Affirmative.” He replied. "Who is this assistant of yours?" Behemoth grinned, thinking about how quick he could make them snap. "She's the one that got you into this mess." starlight smiled. The grin, behemoth carried had vanished instantly. "Twilight sparkle." Starlight said, with the slightest bit of amusement. "WHAT!" Behemoth yelled. "Enjoy your stay." Starlight smirked before walking out the door. Day3 years later…… 6:45 am There was a ringing noise heard echoing through the halls of the one story house into the bedroom where Norman was sleeping. Or used to, Norman was not expecting to get a phone call during his vacation from doing missions and was slightly agitated that they interrupted his sleep. He decided to not answer so he could fall asleep again. Only for it to ring again. Norman then frowned in annoyance and covered his ear with a pillow. It was only after the fourth time it rang he decided to get up from his bed. Turning on the lamp on the chair he winced at how bright it was and began rubbing his eyes while yawning. After that he walked his way to the door, turning the knob, he began hoping it was just some guy trying to sell something. as he walked towards the living room he could see the sunlight shine through the windows, he walked towards the phone and slightly hesitated to answer it. "Hello?" Norman asked exhaustingly. "Norman, this is bonbon?" "What is it." norman sighed. "Norman, we need you to come back in immediately." Bonbon rushed. "Why, what's happening?" Norman said. He could hear the sound of alarms through the phone. "The whole agency is on high alert. They said there was a breach in one of our prisons in china. The whole place is destroyed. "Okay, but why does this involve us?" Norman asked. "The prison was built for one person, one dangerous person." "One person, but who?" Norman replied getting confused. "Norman, it's behemoth." bonbon said as her voice got low. As norman heard that name he almost dropped the phone in shock as a flood of memories came in his head. The gruesome bodies he saw at the prison. The expressions made by the families of the deceased when they heard their loved ones were killed by an alien. He could still remember the conversation he had with him about being unique. Although the entire city's population witnessed the event, they were forced to keep silent about the incident so there wouldn't be any world leaders demanding to close the portal in canterlot high or worse, a war. The amount of work put forth in repairing the whole city's damages. Many of the public information of that night were explained by freak thunderstorms and multiple earthquakes. Norman knew if behemoth escaped the agency would have to go public about that night. As he finally snapped out of his thoughts he quickly hung up and speed walked his way through the hallway and got ready.when he finished getting dressed and brushing his teeth he was too much in a hurry to eat breakfast, instead making his way to the car in his garage to drive to the barber shop, which was secretly one of many underground headquarters in the states. Norman had a easy time driving through the streets since it was early in the morning. Norman looked at the skyscrapers in front of him and noticed one skyscraper was still going through repairs. His thoughts were interrupted as he drove through uneven pavement on the road, although most of the damage was fixed there was still noticeable marks in pavement that needed to be redone on the road. Since the entire town was under mind control the people that snapped had trouble with the repairs as they couldn't get to a fire in time nor could they get there at all, since Norman's mind was on the mind control part another person came into his mind. Norman had not seen adagio since she had stolen his car that night. He wasn't even sure she was in the state. Letting his mind get back on the road the drive was fairly quick, he had reached the barber in less than 10 minutes and quickly got out and locked it heading straight through the door. The barber shop still looked the same since the last three years only the walls had been painted red, blue, and white and added more furniture to make it look more like an actual barbershop. Norman made his way to the reception and talked with the guy,who was reading a magazine, to tell of his arrival. When he was checked he walked towards the hallway past the bathroom towards a closet. Closing the door behind him, he pressed a button and a loud bang was heard as the closet began changing into an elevator moving down. The elevator made a ding as its doors opened to reveal a large white base that looked like a coliseum. He then checked up on the reception again and made his to the meeting room, where twilight and bonbon were already waiting with a few other agents engaged in their own conversations. “Norman.” Twilight smiled, shaking his hand, which Norman smiled back. “Good to see you, twilight.” Norman said then directing his attention to bonbon. “Glad to see you again, Norman. Though I do wish it didn't have to be like this.” Bonbon said depressingly. “Is it true, did he really escape?” Norman asked. “Yes, unfortunately. After he escaped we lost his signal after 2 miles. He could be anywhere in China.” Twilight responded with a frown. “Well he can't just disappear. He's a seven foot tall Minotaur.” Norman said. “That is why he won't get away so easily.” Starlight said as she walked through the door. Getting everyone's attention they quickly stood up from the chairs, standing straight up, while in unison addressing her. "Madame." They all said. "At ease." She said, they complied and sat back down. Starlight then headed her way up the stairs to the podium that stood in the center of the stage. “As you all know, behemoth escaped our underground prison in China an hour ago.” “All our agents have been notified and are conducting a search as we speak.” But, due to the small amount of agencies in China. They've requested we send some agents to them. Which is why you are all here. You've been assigned, along with agents across the nation, to take effort in the search to find behemoth and turn him in.” Starlight commanded. “This mission starts in a few hours, so I suggest you get ready now. It's gonna be a long flight.” Starlight said as she walked down the stairs from the podium. Before she left the room she stopped. “Twilight, Norman, sweetie drops. You're coming with me.” Starlight commanded, walking out the door towards her office. Norman, twilight, bonbon looked at each other in confusion, wondering why they needed to follow her, then complied, walking out the door. They both walked through the brightly lit hallway towards a door at the end. Norman grabbed the knob and let twilight and bonbon go before himself, then turning the knob, closing the door. The room was lit by a single lamp on her desk and there was a large amount of paperwork on it, which starlight was putting away. While she was doing this, they all got chairs and sat down. “You asked for us, Madame.” Bonbon said. “Yes.” Starlight nodded. “Since you were already in the meeting, I don't have to repeat myself. I want you to make a team.” Starlight said, catching Norman and bonbon off guard. “What.” They both said in disbelief. “You're both the strongest agents we have. So, me, along with others decided it would be best if you were to use your skills, cooperatively.” “Wait, so you want me and bonbon to create a team. I don't know if you've seen, but we don't have that many agents here.” Norman replied. “I'm aware, that is why it was my choice to modify the rules. I'm letting you make a team that doesn't include agents.” “So, you're letting us recruit people outside the agency?” Bonbon asked. “Yes.” Starlight nodded. “So do you have any recommendations?” “Only one.” Starlight said. Norman and bonbon then listened in. “I want you find adagio.” Starlight said. “Adagio!” They both said. “None of us have seen her in 3 years. Where do you expect us to find her?” Norman asked. “Manehattan. She got a job for construction, recently. You might not have seen her in 3 years, but the agency has.” Starlight said. “She was with behemoth the longest. Which Is why I want her.” Starlight added. “So that's it.” “You,Norman, adagio, and twilight, along with 2 others.” Starlight clarified. “But I don't get it. Why do we need complete strangers to find behemoth.” “Well, I was honestly hoping you'd choose people that had some kind of training in the past. But the choice is up to you.Starlight said. “I wouldn't be doing this if I knew it was a problem. You have my trust all three of you.” Starlight said. “Yes, Madame.”They nodded. They all saluted before walking out the door to get ready. “I'll go find adagio. Bonbon, you recruit the other two. Twilight, you're with me.” Norman commanded. “Got it, hey, good luck with adagio. Who knows what she's like now.” Bonbon said as they all reached the elevator. “Well, last time I saw adagio she stole my car ,so, Probably the same.” Norman smiled. Author's Note Well, welcome to the actual first chapter of agents. Note, if anyone has read The Rise then you know about how that was made and what happens in it. Everything will be recapped later on, so reading the rise will not be important. But to anyone that has I don't plan to make agents that dark. Or edgy. Cringe... And if anyone has any ideas you can message me. Also I noticed this story somehow already got a couple favorites , so I must be doing something right for you guys to Pity me. :D InvitationManehattan 1:00 AM Manehattan was busy as usual. With the large crowds of people walking, crossing, and driving every day and night. The sun was shining brightly with zero clouds in sight. Stores around the street were selling their products and the streets were alive with cars.. Since twilight had never been to manehattan before she was thrilled to see the sights. Norman on the other hand was sitting down on a bench, wearing a brown coat and shades, looking at a newspaper. Twilight didn't know what was so important about reading a newspaper and how it involved their objective. “Why are you reading a newspaper?” Twilight said as she sat down next to him. “Well, I got to learn about manehattan somehow.” Norman responded, pulling down the newspaper. “There's construction going on here.” Norman said as he pointed on a column dedicated to the new skyscraper. “Ten bucks says we'll find her there.” Norman betted, getting up from the bench. “Are you sure?” Twilight asked. “This is the only building being built in the city. Of course, i’m sure.” Norman answered with determination. “Let's get going then.” Twilight answered as they walked to their destination. Unknowingly being followed close behind. Adagio liked the view. Recently, she had gotten a job in construction and was now working on the top floor of a skyscraper that would become manehattan’s tallest. Whenever she wasn't banging away on the wood and tools she'd admire the view of the city and how close it resembled the one in equestria. Adagio could feel the breeze flow through her short hair, which had to be cut to fit standards and smiled, not in a evil or devious way, just a happy smile. Just as she was enjoying the view her thoughts were interrupted by the tugging of a muscular dark blue man with a much lighter hair color, holding onto a hammer with his other hand. Adagio turned and realized it was her boss. “Get back to work, dazzle!” He yelled with his gravelly voice, and a look of dissatisfaction. “Uh,sorry, gorge. Won’t happen again.” Adagio replied, slightly off guard by his volume. His face then went from dissatisfaction to a smile as he chuckled to himself, giving adagio a hand. Whatever tension built up in adagio quickly vanished as she realized it was a joke and laughed, accepting his hand. “Haha. Gotcha didn’t I?” Gorge said, pulling her up the floor. “You certainly did.” Adagio agreed. “Anyways, turns out we’re leaving early today.” “Really, why?” Adagio asked. “Two cops showed up and said we had to halt production for today.” “How do you know they were cops.” Adagio said, narrowing her eyes. “They showed me their badges.” Gorge replied, noticing adagio’s confused looks. “Hey, i’m just as confused as you, but if the law says to stop construction it’s my job to follow.” Gorge said. Adagio nodded and walked to a large room that had all the workers items and such. Walking towards hers, she began shifting through the items in her bag. While she was doing this she noticed an invitation on the bench next to her. Grabbing it to get a closer look, she began reading it to herself. “What is this?” Adagio asked gorge, who was still there. “An invitation to the gala tonight. Usually it’s just full of rich people but they thought it’d be nice to invite us, this is their building after all.” Gorge said, as he looked at the building. Adagio looked at the invitation again and put it in her bag. “Sorry, I don’t do parties.” adagio said sternly, getting gorge’s attention. “Come on, when was the last time you’ve ever been to a party this fancy?” Gorge said. “80 years.” She whispered to herself. “People don’t live forever, adagio. A party like this is full of wonderful people. Even celebrities go to gala’s.If I was your age, I would have been there in a heartbeat.’ “Just think about it.” Gorge smiled. “Fine. I’ll think about it.” Adagio replied, giving in to his request. “Thank you.” He said as he grabbed his bag and headed for the door, stopping at the door frame. Besides, maybe you’ll find the one.” He joked before walking out. “Funny.” Adagio said. Looking at it one last time, she laughed at the thought of finding ‘’the one”. She zipped her bag and held on to the strap, walking out the building. Adagio made her way home in silence, waiting for the light to change at every crosswalk and blending in with the large crowd surrounding her. Reaching her apartment she opened the door and went up the stairs to her room. shuffling through her bag again to find her keys. When she grabbed her keys she put it in the lock and twisted. Only to realize the door was already unlocked, she could have sworn she locked the door this morning but shrugged it off. She knew this part of manehattan was nice and opened the door to her apartment. She closed the door and locked it, taking a deep breath, she dropped everything on the floor and walked to her kitchen. Opening the refrigerator she grabbed a soda and drank it, walking to her bedroom. She turned the knob and noticed the room was dark, she could have sworn she left a window open. Turning a light, she was then greeted by a familiar grey man standing right in front of her. “Hello, adagio.” Norman said sternly. “Holy!” She jumped, dropping her soda. Adagio, feeling like she just saw a ghost, did not care about the soda staining her carpet. Dropping on her back, she crawled backwards towards the door. “Norman. Are you actually there.” Adagio said. “Yes, adagio. It's actually me.” Norman replied. “How long has it been?” Adagio said. “Three years.” Norman answered. “How's life?” Norman asked. “Great, but…… Why are you here?” Adagio said, getting herself off the floor. “To get you, actually.” Norman said. “I should have known you'd take me back to jail.” She sighed in defeat. “Actually, I cleared your name after you left.” Norman clarified. “So you're not here to arrest me?” Adagio asked. “No.” Norman replied, giving adagio a sigh of relief. Construction, huh. Didn't expect you to work there.” Norman said, looking through the apartment window, seeing the busy street below and off in the distance. The new skyscraper. “So, you halted production, today, just to get me?” Adagio clarified, raising an eyebrow. “Well, when you say it like that it becomes a bad thing.” Norman replied, turning his head, looking at adagio. Adagio then remembered gorge said two cops halted production. Then remembering bonbon and thought she was with him. “I suppose bonbon is outside?” Adagio asked. “No, actually, twilight is.” Norman corrected. “Which twilight?” Adagio asked, which Norman gave a confused look. Norman then remembered the whole pony princess thing. “The only one I know.” Norman clarified. “Why'd you bring her.” Adagio said. “It's her job, now.” Norman said. “Seems we're getting to off topic here. Adagio, I'm here because I need you to come with me.” Norman said with absolutely no expression. “Ha. What do you need me for?” She smiled. Before telling the truth Norman cautioned her that she needs to sit down. Complying, with a rather glazed look, she sat on her bed and looked at Norman, who pulled up a chair and sat in front of her. “Adagio, there was a breach in one of our prisons in China. That prison was supposedly the safest place we could put him.” Norman said. “Him? Who escaped your prison?” Adagio asked with skepticism. “Behemoth.” Norman answered, her glazed expression changed from zero interest to fear. As she remembered the terrifying things she witnessed and had to do. Her mind was in a panic. She remembered how he had broke her out of prison and killed every guard in the prison. She then remembered when he had told her to kill silver spoon. And When she had finally gotten her magic back, she recalled the amount of hate for her siren sisters betraying her and the rainbooms destroying her chances at adoration. thought that behemoth had died. Adagio, did not want anything to do with behemoth after her pendant incident. As her mind went back to normal, she had a blank exception and walked out of the room. Leaving her apartment, she sat on the steps on the front door outside, Norman following her closely behind. “No.” Adagio responded. “I'm not helping you….I don't want to see that thing again.” Adagio said sternly. “But, we need your help.” Twilight said, walking up to adagio. “Oh yeah? What do you need me for!” Adagio yelled. “Even if I wanted to join, I wouldn’t be much help to you.” Adagio said in a low voice. “You were with behemoth the longest. We need your help tracking.” Norman said, leaning on the door. “Just because I was with him, doesn’t mean I knew him.” “I just thought he was some idiot with magic. though, he kinda was.” Adagio said. “I only followed him so I could get my powers back.” She said as she got up, walking back to the door norman politely side stepped out of her way, to open the door. as she opened the door she stopped halfway and turned her head. “I wish I could help, but I don’t think i’d be much help.” Adagio said truthfully. “But, thanks, for everything.” Adagio added before closing the door. “But, wait!” Twilight yelled, walked up the steps to open the door knob, but didn’t as norman’s hand grabbed her wrists, telling her not to open it. Letting his hand off, She pulled back her hand to her waist, standing straight up, and faced norman. “What are we gonna do now?” Twilight asked. “we leave. Adagio needs some time to think. Just wait, twilight she’ll reconsider and when she does we’ll be waiting.” Norman spoke solemnly. “You really think she will.” Twilight asked, still a bit unsure. “Trust me.” Norman said, walking off. Twilight shortly following him. Adagio, listening to the whole thing, was on the other side of the door. Taking his words on repeat in her mind. She sighed with a frown, walking her way up to her apartment room, again. She went in her room and laid on her bed, still thinking about norman’s words. Maybe she did need time to think about it. She remembered everything that happened in the three years and a single tear came from her eye. A few minutes later she fell asleep. When she woke up again it was 6 o’clock. She got up to make microwave dinner and ate it in silence. After she was done, she noticed the invitation to the gala and grabbed it, reading it’s contents again. When she did she decided to go, so she could take her mind off things. Realizing it started at 7, she quickly got up to get ready. It turned out the party wasn't that far from her apartment and easily walked there. The building was actually a huge restaurant converted to a party. She could smell the kitchen as she got in. As she walked to a large part of the building she saw tables full of people and a stage in front of her. Almost immediately she heard someone yell her name through a large crowd of men in tuxedo’s. Turning her head she saw gorge, holding a bottle of alcohol, waving hello with his other hand. She walked up to him and noticed other people in construction were sitting next to him. Gorge then pulled out a seat for her and began talking. “I knew you would come, tonight.” “Well, I had to do something to take my mind off things.” Adagio said. “Oh, did something happen?” He asked with concern. “An old friend showed up, today. I'd rather not talk about it.” “Fine by me.” A man said, who had just finished his bottle of alcohol. Adagio didn't really know him that much since he doesn't like to talk to anyone. Most people in construction call him, Abraham. He looked like a typical evil villain from one of those daring do movies. Come to think of it he did look like ahuizotl. But she passed it off as just a coincidence. Her thoughts were interrupted as he screamed out at the waiter. “Waiter! I demand more of this toxin in my cup and into my body.” Abraham yelled, which caught the eyes of multiple people. “Yes s-sir.” She complied, with a scared look, making an attempt to get his refill as quick as possible. She couldn't blame her, at 6’8 he looked intimidating. And to be honest with herself she was also scared of him, Which barely anyone can do. But both of them were on par with each other on how easily they got the job done. “Thanks, Abe. You made us seem like cavemen.” Gorge said with disappointment. “I don't care how barbaric these know it all alls think I am.” He said, as the waitress poured him some alcohol. “Can't you atleast show a little consideration and tact. These guys don't normally invite people like us. And quite frankly I don't think these are the nicest of people.” Gorge spoke with honesty. “Actually, we mostly are.” A blue haired white man said walking. “Hi, my names fancy pants, you must be gorge.” Fancy said, shaking his hand. “Why, yes. I'm the boss and these are my workers.” Gorge said waving his hand to them which they returned, except Abraham who screamed at the waitress. Fancy got a look at all of them and stopped when he noticed a familiar women sitting in the group. Which he went from calm to a slightly angered look, clenching his hands, which gorge took notice of. “Is something wrong?” Gorge asked. Fancy snapped out of it and unclenched his hands. Taking control of himself he re adjusted his monocle. “It's nothing, I'm fine. Allow yourself to have all you can eat….. And drink.” Fancy said, noticing the many refills Abraham already got. “Sir, I really think you shouldn't be d-drinking any more.” She stuttered. “Donn’t ter me whhuut to do.” He slurred. Then falling on the floor, which he immediately got help from his fellow workers. “Yeah, I think we won't be having any drinks for the rest of the night.” Gorge said. “I agree.” Fancy said, before getting a phone call “Excuse me, I've got to go.” Fancy said before walking off. “I have to go for a second.” Adagio said, getting up from her seat. At the front of the building a hooded man was standing in front of the door. He walked up ready to open it but was stopped by the bouncer. “Invite only.” He said. “If you want to have a working arm I suggest you not touch me.” He said menacingly. “Oh yeah, what are you gonna do about it?” The bouncer said leaning closer to his face. “Big mistake, bub.” He said as he punched him in the jaw, knocking him unconscious. Realizing it was locked he searched the unconscious man’s body for a key. Opening it, he made his way through the building to the tables. Adagio made her way to the bathroom and looked at herself in the mirror. Seeing someone from canterlot at the party was not something she had hoped to see. And she could tell in his eyes that he recognized her. As she was thinking she jumped in surprise as she noticed the girl looking at her in the reflection, she turned her head to look. “Sorry.” Twilight apologized. “Did you follow me here?” Adagio asked. Twilight looked down and nodded. “The answers still no.” adagio said, turning around to face her. “Adagio, we really need you.” Twilight pleaded. “sure.” She doubted. “There is no convincing you is there?” Twilight asked, hoping for her to answer. Adagio stopped and turned. “Nothing will. Twilight, I don’t know you, but even I-” Her words were interrupted by the sound of gunshots and loud screams. “What was that?” Adagio yelled in a panic. “Trouble.” Twilight said, pulling out her phone and a pistol. “You were armed this whole time.” Adagio yelled. “Rule states to always come prepared.” Twilight said as she was pulling up her contacts. “Norman, we have a problem.” she said. Everyone was quiet and in complete shock at the man who was standing at the center of the room with a gun. Pulling up a shot he began drinking it and smiling. As he looked at around his smile became anger and began yelling. “Where is, twilight sparkle!” He yelled. “Who wants to know.” A girl with light blue skin and purple hair said, which he turned to face her, making her quiver in fear just by looking his eyes. “Me.” He answered, pulling his hood down. He was a dark grey man with brilliant scarlet eyes and black spiky hair. “My name is Sombra.” Crashed *Unedited and Unfinished*Crashed *Unedited and Unfinished* Sombra looked around once again, hoping twilight would show herself. Everyone in the room was looking at him in fear, most were hiding under their tables and some of the brave ones remained in their seats. Sombra growing increasingly impatient shot his automatic into the air, Making noticeable holes in the ceiling. And the screams of frightened people. “So no one wants to tell me where twilight is?” He asked, receiving a silent response from the crowd. “Ah, I see.” He said, walking to a table. He then grabbed a shot glass filled with alcohol and drank it in one take. Walking back to the center, he threw the glass towards a wall, Shattering the glass all over the carpet. Unfortunately, that shot happened to belong to a very drunk Abraham who had just witness the death of his favorite drink. His anger getting the best of him, he shot out of his seat and charged towards sombra, who was facing the opposite direction. Before Abraham could punch him, sombra quickly turned around and grabbed his giant hand, stopping it. Sombra then kicked his leg and brought him down on the floor, placing his gun on his head. “What the hell is going on here?” Fancy pants said with concern. Sombra looking at fancy recognized him, getting up. He kicked Abraham and walked with satisfaction in his eyes. Abraham still conscious held the position as he was too drunk and weak to get up. Gorge and the crew gave worried expressions about his safety. “You must be, fancy pants?” Sombra said. “And who do you think you-” before he could finish, sombra, quickly grabbed hold of his arms and pulled out handcuffs. Dropping him on the floor, he pointed his gun at fancy’s back towards the heart. “Choose your next words very carefully, fancy. Where is, twilight sparkle?” Sombra whispered with a dark tone. “I have no idea what you're talking about!” Fancy assured, sweat running down his face as he struggled to break free. “Don't play games with me. In fact, you were all there!” Sombra yelled, looking at all the guests with a threatening look. Making them more uncomfortable than they already were. “After all, she was the one that saved you, right?” Sombra said. Every guest in the building exchanged looks of worry as if someone had just found their secret. Gorge and the crew saw this and exchanged looks of confusion to themselves. “What’s going on? A short thin man whispered, leaning towards gorge. “Something we're not suppose to know. Gorge assumed, looking at the group's looks of worry. Then a man, who was a little older than gorge, shot out of his seat. “We don't associate with criminals.” He blurted out, catching sombra’s attention. “Well look who it is.” Sombra grinned. “Filthy rich. last time I saw you, you were asking me for favors about your daughter?” Sombra asked. And with that information out there the crowd turned and faced filthy rich, giving him glares and a look of betrayal. Even fancy pants felt disappointed in him. “Rich…. You swore.” Said a man in his thirties. “Yeah, so what, why do we need to cover up information like this. People have the right to know.” Filthy yelled. “Unfortunately, your viewpoint will never be shared. Your secret is safe with me, fellas.” He assured. “Atleast, if you're willing to cooperate.” Sombra muttered. “Now then, where is twilight sparkle?” Sombra said, pressing the gun down harder on fancy’s back. “I'll never tell you where!” Fancy yelled, trying to break free again. “Come on! After all this fancy, you still don't want to tell me.” Sombra yelled, then sighing with disappointment. “I really wish it didn't have to be this way, fancy.” Sombra said, pulling the gun from his back towards his head. “I'm gonna give you the count of three to tell me where or I'm going to stain this beautiful carpet.” Sombra roared. “I don't know where!” Fancy yelled, trying to fight back. “3….” Sombra said with no warning, facing the gun towards his heart. “I swear.” Fancy pleaded, his voice breaking a lot and losing his accent. “2….” Sombra yelled. “No! Wait!” Fancy yelled. “1…” Sombra yelled. “She's in another-” fancy yelled with his broken voice. “Right here!” Twilight yelled across the room. The entire room looked at her. She was walking towards him slowly with confidence. “Twilight? But… how?” Fancy asked, looking up. Regaining his accent a little. Sombra then leaned towards fancy’s ear and whispered. “You live another day, fancy.”, shoving him to the ground. Sombra then walked slowly towards twilight. Twilight having her gun out, pointed it at him. Ready to fire a shot. Sombra stopping at a table, glared at the men sitting on it. They quickly got out and ran. Sombra then pulled up a chair and sat down. “Don't move.” Twilight said. “Wasn’t planning to.”Sombra assured, pouring alcohol into a shot glass. “That’s a nice tuxedo.” Sombra commented. Why don’t you sit down and talk.” He said, pulling up a chair. “you threatened to kill innocent people just to talk to me?” Twilight pointed out. “Strange, I know, but it gets work done. You understand don’t you?” “I don’t think I do.” Twilight replied, still managing to keep her fear tucked away. “Well. Aren’t you going to sit down?” Sombra asked, gesturing towards the chair on the other side of the table. Twilight still keeping her gun aimed at him, sat down on the chair. “So. You yell my name with a gun. Stole that guys liquor and threatened to kill that guy?” Twilight pointed out. “I'm on a very busy schedule, twilight. I'm sure you'd understand. How about I tell you a funny story.” See I was walking down the streets of canterlot, This was 5 years ago by the way. Suddenly through the corner of my vision I saw an explosion through an alley between two buildings.” Sombra gestured the scene with his hands. “Uh huh.” Twilight nodded. “I go to that alleyway and what do I find. A guy, looked like me, talked like me, walked like me, all sorts of things you see. What was weird about it was the fact he called himself king sombra.” “And what'd you do.” Twilight asked with interest. “I shot him of course. He threatened to put me in shackles. It didn't take a long time to find out that was me and not an imposter. Turned out he was from a land of talking ponies.” Sombra said, chugging down the alcohol. “So you interact with an alternate version of yourself and the first thing you do is kill him!” Twilight yelled. “Well, I was kicked out of my job at the time. And thought of this as some form of demon or premonition. Realizing I had just broke my code I went insane.” “And now here I am!” He said, extending his arms. “What'd you do after.” “I'll leave that to the imagination, agent.” Sombra growled, leaning towards twilight. Quickly standing up she raised her gun at him. “Hahahahahaha. Rule number one!” Sombra laughed as he got up, heading towards twilight. Fearing for her safety she pulled the trigger and nothing happened. Taking the opportunity sombra grabbed the gun and took it. “Always take it off safety.” He smirked, aiming her own gun at her. “Say, goodnight.” “I wouldn't do that if I were you!” Norman yelled across the room. Sombra turned and smiled. “Norman! How's my favorite agent!” Sombra exclaimed, with open arms. “You know this guy.” Twilight said, with nervousness. “He used to be an agent years ago.” Norman said, walking towards them. “Is that really all you remember me by,Norman?” He asked. “He was also my teacher.” Norman said lowly. “What?” Twilight gasped. “Surprise surprise.” Sombra said, with fake enthusiasm. “the gun is empty by the way.” Norman blurted out. Sombra pulling back the gun checked the rounds to see nothing was there. “You gave me a gun with no ammo!” Twilight yelled. “I didn't think you'd have to use it.” Norman clarified. “Come on, Norman! I gave you a loaded gun when you were ten.” Sombra said. “You gave a child a loaded gun!” Twilight yelled. “It was just a bb gun.” Sombra replied. “That doesn't make it okay!” Twilight yelled, while giving him a lecture on gun laws. Sombra didn't really care,so he just ignored it, but no matter how hard he tried. He somehow heard the entire lecture. Sombra gave Norman a look saying “she does this often?” To which Norman replied “more than you think.”. Just then sombra felt a vibration in his pants, pulling out his phone, sombra put it back. “Damn!” He mumbled “Lucky you.” Sombra said looking at twilight. “Sorry Norman, looks like I gotta go.” Before he left he grabbed gorge, who was desperately trying to break free. “Oh, and I'll be taking this as a souvenir.” Sombra smirked, pulling out his gun he shot the glass door to the outside. The whole building took a sigh of relief before getting up and screaming. Adagio, who had been listening in the whole time had called the police during sombra’s talking. The ambulance came quickly checking all the guests. Norman and twilight were outside, when they realized their car was gone. “He didn't.” Twilight said, refusing to believe he stole the car. “But it was a finger print only?” Twilight said, not realizing Norman went back inside. “Dazzle, please tell me you have a car.” Norman hoped, but his hopes were quickly put to rest when adagio shook her head. He mumbled something as he walked to the middle of the room. “Alright, so can anyone spare me there car so I can chase the man.” Norman asked, only hearing the crowd mumble to themselves. “Tak me ca-ar.” A drunk Abraham spoke, my cars around the corner. “But I-I'm d-drivin!” Abe stuttered, slowly getting up. “I'm going to!” Adagio spoke out. “I thought you refused?” Norman said. “Gorge was a good man. He doesn't deserve to be someone's prisoner!” Adagio said solemnly. “Alright, but I want you and Abraham in the back.' Norman said “There's no way I'm letting that drunk man drive.” He whispered that last sentence to twilight, who nodded in agreement. Getting the keys from Abe. They walked abe to his car, unfortunately, abe's stomach never made the trip. Author's Note Ands that how it ended... What? You want to know what happens next? Oh well. The timeline was reset. Not really much I can do... Hey, go read The Rise remake or Chow's World. Those two are better than this fic. Because they aren't cancelled. RIP Agents RIP
PrologueDarkness.
InvitationManehattan 1:00 AM Manehattan was busy as usual. “My name is Sombra.”
Crashed *Unedited and Unfinished*Crashed *Unedited and Unfinished* Sombra looked around once again, hoping twilight would show herself.
