//-------------------------------------------------------// The Wrath of Destructor -by Shadow Valkyrie- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Introducing Significant Characters? Check //-------------------------------------------------------// Introducing Significant Characters? Check Chapter 1 Pinkie Pie was bored. Crazy, right? There were no birthdays or special occasions to party about. Her hair had even gone down. So she asked Vinyl Scratch to play some music. Slow Victory fit the mood, so it made her even more bored. Twilight Sparkle had just read and reread every single book in her library. So she had nothing to do except some chemistry, which she didn’t want to do. Last time she did Rainbow dash had almost destroyed Ponyville with a “double rainboom”. Hopefully, that wouldn’t happen because she was trying to turn the Moonshine in the water supply back into water. She decided to take a break and look out the window with her telescope. She pointed to the hill in front of Ponyville and saw a mysterious, hooded figure. “Spike! Is Zecora scheduled to come over here this week?” Twilight asked spike. Spike replied from another room, “No! She isn’t due for 2 weeks, and is always on time! Why do you ask?” “There’s somepony in a cloak coming towards Ponyville!” “Weird”, Spike replied. Finally, something to do, though Twilight. Rarity was searching for gemstones in a rocky field. You would think, she assumed before coming here, that this place is loaded with gems. She was right. She had two bags on her back that filled up quickly. Ready to return to her house, she started the return trek to Ponyville. However, halfway there she stopped to gaze at a hooded figure heading towards Ponyville. She got a negative feeling from it, so she decided to stray from the path and go the long way. Making dresses from crystals could wait an extra few minutes. Applejack was making money in the apple business. Almost all of the product had been sold. Fluttershy was there to buy some for her critter friends. Fluttershy was just about to leave when she and Applejack saw a large hooded figure entering the town. Rainbow Dash was cloud sculpting just above the town center. She had done a centaur, an alicorn, and a dragon. She had just finished them all when she saw a hooded figure advancing to the statue of Celestia in the town center. Who is this? She thought as he flew back down. The stranger had made it to the town center, where the big statue of Celestia dominated the block. Practically everyone in town had come to see the newcomer. Good. Plenty of civilians in this town. Should be enough to get dear Celestia’s attention. The stranger thought. Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity met at the Golden Oak Library. It had been a day since “First the water gets turned into moonshine, and now this disturbing…thing looks like it’s stalking the town.” Rarity started “What are we going to have to do to fix all these calamities?” Pinkie spoke up immediately after she had an idea. “Ooh! Ooh! Maybe we should throw it a partaaaaayyy!” her hair returned to its “normal” state and she began bounced around the entire library without end. She was really excited at there being something to do at long last. Now that she was on a roll, (literally) there was no stopping her. Before Pinkie broke something, Twilight used her magic to suspend her in the air. “That actually might work. Maybe if we try to make it happy and try to make friends it could seem less threatening.” “Hear, hear.” Replied Applejack. Rainbow Dash stated the obvious: “Pinkie’s planning the party right?” “Of course it would be me, silly. Do you know anypony else who can throw a big party in this town. I’ll need a 200 meter screen, 27 dozen floor lights, a really big open area, and something to pump the moonshine somewhere, a half-mile of streamers, and Vinyl for music.” She took a deep breath. “Yay. Party.” Fluttershy quietly commented. Little did any of them know, the only thing that would bring the stranger happiness would be just one little thing: The sweet taste of revenge. Only then could she be appeased. //-------------------------------------------------------// Thorough Advertising and Vandalism //-------------------------------------------------------// Thorough Advertising and Vandalism Chapter 2 Three days had passed since the stranger came to town. It had been wandering all around the town, never stopping to talk to anypony or even acknowledge their existence. Not even stopping to eat or sleep. There was no need to. She was really investigating the infrastructure, but they needn't know that. Eventually, they lost interest, going about their normal lives. Until the third day, on a Friday the thirteenth of March (the second of 2015, with another on the way in November) nothing really happened. Still boring days for the townsfolk. But on that night, everyone who could afford to disappeared. Earlier that day, Pinkie had been spreading the word about something. "Come tonight to the hugest, sickest party I have ever done! I will defy the Friday the 13th bad luck!" (No, seriously. Every time there is a Friday the 13th occurrence in Equestria, something dies. It is a cursed date in their world.) Pinkie went a tad bit overboard on the advertising. She had Rainbow Dash fly a little banner through the sky. She put up a billboard. She even "borrowed" the hot air balloon so she could make it rain flyers. Though in her defense, you could say that that's just Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie as usual. It seems that I have the place to myself. I wonder... The stranger thought with a smirk on her face, hidden under the hood she donned. She went over to the Celestia statue in the town. Oh Celestia, what to do with you. What I could do to you if you were really here. It tried to savor the thought in it's head at that time, but it slipped away. To much did from these long years. I suppose I'll have to settle for this until you get here, won't I? She ignited her sword. With a flick of the wrist, it soared into the air. The rapid rotation of the blade kept it in the air long enough to slice the statue's head clean off and make a return trip back to the hand that let it loose. Letting out a quiet chuckle, she walked off, thinking Almost as satisfying as at would be on the real thing. The being fired a projectile out of it's cloak, toppling the rest of the statue. Upon impact on the ground, the statue broke apart, crumbling form the instability created. On the Statue's head, she carved two words: "False God" My work is done here. For now. As soon as clear this rubble I should set up shop. the center is a prime location. The being tore at the air with her sword. At the slash, a portal opened up. Not a stable and safe one, but a tear in the fabric of space-time, only being maintained by its sheer willpower. She reached in the rift and pulled out an assortment of different items: a tent, a safe, and some weapon components. But then she sensed another presence nearby. She closed the portal. She would not risk exposure so soon. Not when she was so close! With haste, she hid the items she acquired under the rubble. But she did not see the other entity as she thought she would. Rather, it hid behind the side of a building. And a violet aura of magic seemed to be coming from that area. The next thing she knew, she was in a dark area with lots of whispers. Then a light turned on. And another. And another. And all of a sudden there were hundreds of multicolored light illuminating the area. "Party Rock Anthem" began to play, and hundreds of ponies began cheering at the beginning of Pinkie's biggest party yet. The stranger's jaw dropped at the magnitude of the event. They've managed to create more in a few days than I can in a year! In any case, no more hiding. I'm exposed. She dropped down the hood, revealing a metal head, green reptilian eyes, and a smile with sharp teeth, but a smile nonetheless. Then she disconnected the part of her hood concealing her equine body. A black coat, green horseshoes, and a "unique" cutie mark and tail were now visible. The remainder of the jacket concealed a bipedal's upper body, implying that her body shape was like a centaur. Like Tirek, but he was banished to Tartarus 1000 years ago. Barely anyone remembered his existence, or much else from that age. Might as well keep up the charade a little bit longer. This doesn't change the plans much. And she let the party roll. //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue In a dark forest, a towering figure in a hood walked. It was far larger than a normal pony, a bit taller than Celestia, even. It also seemed to emanate a glowing energy. It stopped for a second, then turned around quickly, pulled out a gun, and fired lasers from it into the thick foliage.  (It was a minigun, mind you) A thump was audible. The figure moved towards the noise. It found a Pegasus pony lying on the ground. The Pegasus was wheezing for air, with many blast marks all over the midsection. The hooded figure pulled out an odd sword, and activated it. Another pony was in the vicinity of the noise. So, he went to investigate. He found a dead Pegasus pony with blast marks and two suspicious wounds. But there was no time for him to grieve. A shadow appeared. The living pony had just turned around when the mass gripped him by the throat, preventing him from speaking. Sword in hand, the hooded one began to speak. "I have no personal quarrel with you or your former associate, but I really despise your rulers. So you get to die." There was a choking noise. The pony struggled for air and then, was silenced. A Flawless Kill. The hooded one thought. It dropped the dead victim and walked away. Hours later, the hooded one found it’s way out of the forest onto a cliff. A perfect view of Ponyville was below. Well, time to introduce myself, it thought, and started down a path, to the town that would soon be doomed. It holstered its weapons, keeping incognito.
