Metro 2033: a new light in the tunnels
chapter 1. the aftermath.
((ok before we begin i want people to know this is my first story alright it may seem a bit short but i will be adding and improveing as i go along im hopeing to get support for this and as little hate as possible but if you have constructive critisizm ill listen yes i probably spelled that wrong my spelling is horrible i know i just hope you all enjoy this. and without further adeu.))
chapter 1: the aftermath
my name is Artyom after the events from the tower and the bright flash i had givein up hope of ever seeing anyone ever again. i do not know how long i was out but when i awoke i was in a cave system coverd with strange crystals i wasent sure how far i was from the metro tunnels so i quickly put my mask on and readied my weapons. after a momment or two of no attack i determined it was safe to proceed. as i made my way through the cave i noticed there was no sign of any nosalis or any other signs of life in these tunnels. i kept moveing until i finally saw a light at the end of a tunnel looking up i could only wonder where it was comeing from. as i clumb my way towerd the light i would soon discover that i wasent in moscow anymore.

Twilight had just finished her song about love being in bloom and the party was winding down to the last bit of cake and punch she couldent help but feel joy for her brother as she looked between him and Cadence with a smile she was certain nothing could go wrong today well nothing more anyway. she trotted to her friends and noticed a worried look on Celestia's face she stoped and went to her mentor. princess? whats the matter? at this the large white alicorn with the majestic main and tail could only smile it is nothing to concern yourself with my dear Twilight i am afraid i must be off for a momment sister will you watch things from here i believe i have had enough excitment for one day. at that the princess giggles as Luna trots up. yes sister i will watch while you rest. with that Celestia took her leave as she left the party a look of growing concern appeared on her face what was that strange spike of energy she felt? and why was it still lingering? she trotted closer to the area that the energy signiture was comeing from a strange cave that seemed vaguely familure however before she could put anymore thought into it a figure clumb out of it and looked around before locking eyes wth her.

i had no idea what i was looking at it looked like something straight out of a childs fantasy i was certain i was halucinating again but after a momment i realised this was real i stared onword not looking away from the creature in front of me it resembled a horse like the ones i would see in pictures yet this one had a horn and wings it looked like it was wearing some kind of crown. i had no idea if this creature was hostile or not and i did not have time to reach for my weapon i could only hope that this creature was similure to a librarian and would not attack unless provoked.

Celestia could only blink a as she stared at this thing in front of her it stood like a diamond dog but its posture was straighter she looked at this creature studying it as best she could it wore some kind of mask with goggles on top a heavy coat coverd in strange objects a pouch containing a yellowish oraunge case on his right side was a strange metallic object made out of wood and metal on his left was a large sharp knife with a handle on the grip on the creatures back was a backpack and some very strange objects. she finally realises niether of them have moved since they spotted each other trying to be nice she tries to intraduce herself. greetings i am princess Celestia and you.

i was begining to think it was just a animal but it suddenly moved its mouth and made some strange noises perhaps it was trying to speak perhaps it had issued a warning of somekind however my thoughts were put at ease when i noticed it was smileing at me i started to relax but as i did i finally took note of a clicking noise it did not take me long to realise what it was i began to examine my surroundings quickly trying to discover what had triggerd it only to look back at the creature in front of me. whatever it was it was radioactive. however considering it wasent hostile i tried to greet it by waveing my hand in the useal greeting of the metro.

Celestia smiled the creature had understood her or so she thinks and had returned her greeting however it did not intraduce itself she tilted her head in confusion wondering why it had not. it is only polite to intraduce yourself when asked. she said a look of confusion clear on her face she still had no idea what this creature was or if it was truly hostile or not however it seemed to stare at her uncomfertibly as it waved its arm towerd her she supposed that was how the creature greeted others she tried to get closer but this seemed to cause the creature to panic and back away. stunned she stoped and stared at it in confusion.

i did not want to offend he horse-like-creature in front of me but i could not let it get close i am still not sure what is going on as think of this i am snaped back to reality as it aproches in fear i stumble back nearly falling back down into the cavern below i am starting to think i should'ent have left the safety of the caves in the first place. i quickly regain my footing and look back at it blinking i consider reaching for my pistol but am unsure of what to do. rather i could make up my mind or not did not matter it all happend in the blink of an eye a flash of purple light a blur of color and a sharp pain to my back. i fell onto the ground and passed out.

princess! came Twilight Sparkles voice as she cried out to her mentor after seeing her stareing down a strange creature at first nothing was happening but then whatever it was had for some reason paniced and was reaching for the the strange object at its side Twilight could only think of it as a weapon of some sort and in reaction went to defend her princess with the aid of her friends they had vanquished the monster only to her despair to find the princess very upset with her. Twilight Sparkle what have you done? she seemed to be more concerned then angry. Twilight and her friends exchanged confused glances as she turned to the princess. what do you mean? it was going to attack you. wasent it? the princess looked to the creature laying on the ground motionless. Twilight go get help.
((yea i know i could have said more like i said im still working on it. PS. this is based on the game Metro 2033 i have been trying to find a good copy of the book but cant so give me some time to get it before i complete this))
