Chapters The collapse of Equestria can be attributed to two things. One: a party. Two: Diamond Tiara. To make a long story short, after its collapse Equestria divided into two nations- The Solar Empire (led by Empress Celestia (no ‘being consumed by evil’ here- [she was just a bitch to begin with] of course) and The Lunar Republic led by President Luna (obviously). Fast forward two hundred years to the present day: WWV is going on and TLR’s scientist have been experimenting . . . and throwing around words like temporal drift . . . but that’s not important. Or is it?

I licked my lips nervously. The charge is set now I gotta get out of here . My horn flared with light and I teleported away. Or not. I stared at the wall in front of me. Ugh, fucking Solar Empire anti-teleport fields . I started walking. This was going to be another tele-fall. Rounding a corner I saw a pair of guards by the door. I raised my gun. This will be easy .
Two perfect shots. Darting around their dead and/or dying bodies, I stepped out the door.
Wind buffeted me, playing with my spiky pink hair. I gulped, staring at the clouds below me. Yes clouds. I’m in a Solar Empire transport ship. They fly. I glanced at the open void of sky once more. Ah what the heck . Then I stepped into the sky. I screwed up my eyes in concentration. One thousand, two thousand, three thousand, four thousand, five thousand, six thousand- NOW! I curled my body inward, horn glowing as I teleported away.

I stumbled, falling on my face as I landed on the floor of HQ. ‘’Mission successful?’’ Inquired Sureshot, a grey earth pony with an indigo and orange mane.
I grinned. ‘’Totally!’’
‘’Good, Winglord Starry Nights wants us to report to meeting room 3.’’
I blinked. **Winglord Starry Nights * wants to see US? I hope this is a promotion . . .*
The two of us walked down the corridor. ‘’Ok, here’s meeting room 3,’’ I muttered, opening the door with my magic.
WL Starry Nights was already their along with four other ponies I didn’t know. Only one of them really stood out- an aqua and tan Dragonwing pony.
WL Starry Nights spoke-‘’The fact is; The Lunar Republic is losing. The Solar Empire has better ships, better weapons, better everything. But we have better scientists.’’
We all blinked. Being told that your home country is losing the war that will probably decide everyone’s freedom is just a tiny bit horrifying to hear. Did I mention that that it wasn’t even eight in the morning yet?
Starry Nights continued: ‘’However not all hope is lost. Our scientists have recently made time travel possible- WITH a large power source. We have also recently found the Elements of Harmony. Now at this point all we need is ponies to wield them. That’s where you six come-‘’
‘’Wait we’re doing WHAT?’’ Interrupted the white Pegasus to Starry Nights’ left.
Starry Nights glared at the albino Pegasus. ‘’As I was saying you six will go back in time and kill Celestia BEFORE this war even starts. And before you ask, yes the elements have the power to do it!’’ The dragonwing pony to my right arched an eyebrow. ‘’Can we even USE the elements?’’
‘’Of course Fablehoof! You six are descendants of the Elements’ most powerful Bearers! You, Fablehoof are a descendant of Pinkamena Diane Pie. Nygumi, you are a descendant of Fluttershy. Cirrus’’, said Starry Nights pointing her horn to the white Pegasus, ‘’are a descendant of Rainbow Dash.’’ She said Sureshot was a descendant of somebody named Rarity, Ampere, the blue and green earth pony across from me was descended from Applejack (whoever that was, I’d only heard of Pinkamena Diane Pie and Rainbow Dash), Diamond Sparkle, the grey unicorn on the left of Ampere was descended from Twilight Sparkle.
Starry Nights continued. ‘’You will also want to avoid your ancestors as they were EXTERMYLY loyal to Celestia.’’ She put a datacard on the table. ‘’This contains any other information you might need or want to know.’’
I facehoofed. ‘’So basically your sending us back in time with ponies we barely know to do a suicide mission?’’
Starry Nights grinned creepily. ‘’Exactly!’’
The room was spartan, containing a large silver machine-like object and a table, on which five necklaces and a tiara sat.
‘’One of the lab-coat-wearing ponies- a yellow earth pony walked up to us. ‘’Don the element of your ancestors and step into the yellow circle around the Temporal Plane Shifter.’’ He said in a monotone.
Have they done this before?!? I thought, putting on the butterfly necklace. It fit snugly around my neck and felt both hot and cold at the same time somehow. My vision suddenly seemed to . . . shift and . . . zoom? I couldn’t describe it. That was annoying.
A voice, both familiar and not played through my head.
‘’Fluttershy, who tamed the manticore with her compassion, represents the spirit of...kindness!’’
I snarled slightly. Hey! Disembodied voice! Listen up! My name ain’t Fluttershy! It’s NYGUMI! Get that through your head!
‘’Agent Nygumi, please step into the yellow circle.’’ I shook my head to clear it. Everyone else was already in standing in the circle. Feeling slightly embarrassed, I took my place in the circle. Ampere was on one side of me and Diamond Sparkle was on the other.
One of the scientists, a pegasus flipped a switch. The machine began to hum and the lights flicked. The pegasus poked the earth pony. ‘’Take notes, Cameron!’’ She whispered. A polychromatic circle pulsed and spun on the yellow line, sparking with electricity.
My vision narrowed again, this time fading into white.
‘’Mmmgh, why does the floor taste like ass?’’ I muttered. I opened my eyes and saw something silver mushing into my face. Ah, the floor IS an ass. I thought in an offhoof sort of way. Wait what? THE FLOOR IS AN ASS?! I jumped up, hitting my head into a tree branch. I ducked out from under it and stood up. ‘’What. The. Fuck.’’ I growled. Why am I here in this sickening cute looking meadow? And why do I JUST HAPPEN to be under the only tree in the fuckin’ place!!?
Then it all came back to me. ‘’I fucking went back in time. WE fucking went back in time,’’ I muttered staring at the other four ponies, still unconscious on the ground next to me. Wait four ponies? Where’s Sureshot?
*Poke* someone’s hoof poked into my shoulder. In an instant I was facing them with my gun out. I blinked. ‘’Oh, it’s you Sure- ‘’
My vision tunneled for the second time that day as the element necklace suddenly felt like it was literally BURNING into my neck. Joy. I Iove my life don’t you?
‘’A baby dragon? Oh I’ve never seen a baby dragon before! He’s just so cute!’’
‘’You’re going to . . . LOVE ME!!!’’
‘’No pony pushes the new Fluttershy around! NO PONY!’’
What the hell! Is this WAIT A SEC!? Fluttershy! My own ancestor is TRYING TO POSSESS ME!!!?
And then the purple unicorn and rainbow maned pegasus walked by. Which is the point when shit it the fan. Big time. Again. My life RULES, ne?

Nygumi is wrong. The shit pot stirring didn’t happen until the pink pony broke all the laws of physics and popped out of nowhere. Or possibly it was when I pulled my gun out on said pink pony. The-pink-thing was chattering on at MACH 1. Literally.
‘’ . . .and so that means I have to throw a party for you six!’’
Diamond Sparkle walked up. ‘’Could you PLEASE talk less obnoixiously and not be so effing annoying?’
Glancing at the group of ponies around me, I realized that everyone else must have woken up while I-
‘’Ah don’t want ta do this anymore than ya do sugercube, but we don’t really have a choice.’’
‘’Their has to be SOMETHING. We can’t give up hope yet!’’
‘’Face it, Twi, there’s nothin’ we can do.’’
‘’Applejack, who reassured me when I was in doubt, represents the spirit of... honesty!’’
Uhh . . .okay what? I gritted my teeth . . . these were our ancestors (though I doubted anyone but me had bothered to read through the data card). All this took place in a fraction of second of course. I focused on Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Pinkamena Diane Pie.
I focused on Pinkamena. ‘’What is the name of this town? We've been traveling for a long time.’’ Longer than you could imagine, being from the stupid ages, I added silently.
Twilight Sparkle frowned. ‘’Why don’t any of you have cutie marks?’’
I blinked. Cutie Mark? Oh right, that’s what ponies in the Stupid Age called slave brands.
‘’I, ah . . . dislike the idea of being a sainitation engineer and simply removed it.’’ I lied smoothly.
Twilight stared. ‘’You REMOVED your own cutie mark?!??’’
I closed my eyes. Involve them as little as possible.
When I reopened my eyes my voice was calm and natural. ‘’Do you by any chance know of any hotels around here?’’
Twilight nodded. ‘’Sure, follow me everypony.’’
Sureshot and I exchanged annoyed looks, but both of knew that saying something would attract unwanted attention, possibly jeopardizing the mission. We were disciplined enough to ignore the urge to correct Twilight, Rainbow and Pinkamena. Cirrus was not.
‘’What do you mean EVERYPONY! Do you HAVE to be racist?’’ Cirrus shouted, flying a few feet above the three ponyvillians.
Twilight looked at Cirrus like she was retarded. ‘’It’s not racist. EveryPONY says it.’’
Cirrus stood (flew really, she was too short to stand) eye-to-eye with Twilight. ‘’Everypony is WRONG! There are sentient beings that AREN’T ponies! Use everyONE or everyBODY!!’’
I gave Cirrus a look. The conversation of looks between us (strangely intricate considering that we barely knew each other) went like this:
ME: You just HAD to do that didn’t you?
CIRRUS: Yes.
ME: Why?
CIRRUS: I don’t talk about it.
ME: Why? Does it have the potential to jeopardize the mission?
CIRRUS: That’s all you care about isn’t it?
I walked down the walkway. The important thing now was gathering intel and supplies. Other than guns and the elements, they hadn’t had the ability to send anything back with us (or more likely thought it would be a waste of resources).
I was standing in line at an actual frickin’ vegetable stand. It was like being in the stone ages. I didn’t have any of my weapons on me which was . . . unsettling to say the least considering how many inknown variables were in this situation.
I wasn’t expecting a pony from the royal guard to walk over to me. ‘’Miss, would you mind if we talked in private.’’
It wasn’t a question. It was an order.
I nodded. ‘’Sure,’’ I said following him into a grove of trees.
Then he pulled out his sword, fast as lightening and presses the tip against my neck. ‘’Where are you from? Whose backing you?’’
I gritted my teeth. I couldn’t believe I had let my guard down like this.
‘’Start talking already, bitch!’’ He shouted.
The tip pressed harder, and blood welled up at my throat. I snarled slightly. I wasn’t some weak Stupid Age mare. I'd faced far, far worse than this and come out on top! I kicked my legs up, hitting his cock on purpose. He leaped back, surprised and I took the opportunity to disarm him.
In an instant I was pointing the sword at him. ‘’I’m the one who asks the questions here,’’ I said in a deadly whisper.
Eyes wide he looked up at me. ‘’I-I don’t know anything! My captain told me to track you down and capture you!’’
I brought the sword down on his side, cutting deep into flesh. ‘’Who’s your captain?’’
‘’S-Shining Armor! C-can I g-go now! Please!?’’
I looked at him and realized he had peed himself. I shook my head. Truly pathetic. ‘’Actually, no. I’m doing a HUGE favor to the gene pool by killing you.'' I brought the sword down again, this time slicing through his neck. ‘’You didn’t deserve that’’ I told him coldly, ‘’you should have suffered. ''But I DO have a schedule to keep to.''
I walked away. I still had zucchini to buy.

From the diary of Diamond Sparkle:
Current Date: March 3rd 1003
I admit that I don’t have as much of a killer instinct as the other five but that does not mean I can’t get the job done. I however believe Starry Nights is wrong about one thing concerning this mission. I believe that we should involve our ancestors. I have simple proof- Twilight Sparkle created Sparkle Laboratories. I’ve done jobs for SL, and let me tell you there's nothing, nothing that will prepare you for what you will see their. And it is run by the consciousness of Twilight Sparkle herself. I’ve met the AI that is home to Twilight’s mind. The thing is absolutely, undeniably, INSANE. In my opinion anyone willing to do or even sanction the things that go on in SL would be willing to help us once everything is explained to them. The TSparkle I know would be willing to kill just for the sake of killing. And they do say that AI’s are more stable than organic minds.
I closed the diary program on my mini-computer, a crazy grin plastered on my face. No one else was around to stop me, time traveler or otherwise as i walked out of the hotel. First Stop: Ponyville Library.
The door was locked. It was 2 PM on a Saturday and the door to a public library was locked. Seeing no other option I did the obvious thing and knocked on the door. A moment later a green-and-purple dragon came to answer the door.
‘’Who are you,’’ he asked, ‘’and why hasn’t Pinkie thrown you a welcome to Ponyville party by now?’’
Pinkie parties , I shuddered at the memories that came unbidden into my mind.
‘’Its PA-ART-TEY time!’’ Shouted the pink, gun wielding ponies, doing the pony pokey. It would have been funny if they weren’t so deadly. ‘’Now let’s start DANCING! Remember whoever dances for the longest gets to survive!’’
A group of rogue Pinkie Clones. I danced the longest. My little brother was killed first, followed by my Mother and then my Father. As soon as I could walk again after being forced to party constantly for days I walked the 20 miles to the nearest military academy and enrolled.
I DO realize that the party clones have their own consciousnesses but the insanity had to come from the source.
I looked at the dragon again. ‘’She tried. I’d like to speak with Twilight Sparkle please.’’ I said flatly.
‘’Oh um, alright follow me,’’ he said, ‘’TWILIGHT, there's a pony here who wants to see you!’’ He called up.
‘’Coming,’’ the reply drifted down from the stairs. We walked in as Twilight ran down the stairs. I still could not believe they had hollowed out a tree for such a useless purpose. I knew that it wasn’t a common thing to think, but I grew up in the slums, trees were precious things there. I walked over to Twilight, trying to look friendly and open.
‘’Twilight, ‘’ I began, ‘’I need to tell you and the other bearers of the EoH something. I ask you not to pass judgment until you have heard EVERYTHING. Understand that you will hear things that you believe impossible.’’
She gave me a confused look. ‘’Who are you ponies anyway?’’
I sighed. ‘’I don’t want to repeat myself, gather your friends. But let me tell you one thing: what I tell you will blow your mind . Twilight hesitated for a moment, torn between not trusting an adult blank flank and curiosity. Curiosity won out. ‘’Fine. But only if you tell me why you don’t have a cutie mark.’’
I nodded. ‘’Easy enough.’’ She dashed out. ‘’I’ll be back as soon as I can! Stay here!’’
I smiled. ‘’I will Twilight Sparkle, I will.’’
‘’So, what is it y’all called us here for?’’ Asked Applejack. I looked at the orange earth pony. ‘’Simple matter.’’ I closed my eyes concentrating on an illusion spell. The standard, History Explanation for Morons became reality. Not really of course, but to the viewers, well they had just been dropped into a war zone.
A voice over started playing over the scene of aerial battle. ‘’In the year 1010, Celestia attacked her nation.’’ The illusion shifted to a vision of rainbombs being dropped by pegasus on unsuspecting cities. ‘’She believed it was necessary to cleanse her land of certain ponies and creatures.’’ The scene moved this time showing machines that killed beings, breaking them down for meat. ‘’Luna would NOT stand for this! She formed a rebel group against the solar empire as it was known! Celestia called it insanity. She truly believed she was trying to help HER little ponies. By taking away their freedom and rights.’’
‘’Eventually two different nations formed- The Solar Empire and The Lunar Republic.’’ Now the illusion showed the flags of both nations. ‘’To this day the fighting continues. ‘’ The illusion ended and my horn stopped glowing. I looked out at my audience. ‘’Any questions?’’
Twilight raised her hoof. ‘’How did you do that spell? And make that up? That couldn’t really happen? IT WOULDN’T!’’
I raised an eyebrow. ‘’Wow. You’re even more naïve then I thought. But no matter. This next scene that I show you is my own, untampered memory.’’ My horn glowed once more.
‘’Hey, Diamond, what’s that? It looks like a Convoy but it’s not!’’ Said a small green pegasus filly standing next to me. ‘’A Convoy’s a Convoy, maybe it’s a Warship or Battlecruiser or something,’’ I said with disinterest. ‘’It’s a convoy alright Diamond, but it’s WHITE, ours aren’t WHITE. I jumped up. ‘’WHAT?! I looked up. A white convoy was hovering In the sky above us. ‘’O-oh S-shit, ’’ I stammered my voice waverly and quiet. ‘’Solar Empire Tech.’’ Responded Leafy voicing exactly what I was thinking. ‘’SET.’’ We said together. ‘’Get SET to die.’’ A laser blasted down inches from my left front hoof. I started running dodging as much of the laserfire as I could. Luckily nothing hit me or I would have been a smallish pile of ashes. Or in Leafy’s condition. They hadn’t hit her directly but the hit was enough to fry part of her brain. Her skull was literally smoking and a few drops of greyish liquid dribbled out of her ears. I fought down the urge to vomit as she stumbled around, finally collapsing. Then the laserfire hit her directly. I started running. I didn’t stop, but I didn’t need to; they’d had their fun.
I looked at them, trying to gauge their reactions. I hadn’t wanted to show them something truly horrific, but it had had to be jarring. Something large and blue jumped in front of my vision, still slightly hazy from the FlashbackIllusion spell. I realized that I was looking into the violet eyes of a certain rainbow maned pegasus.
‘’Do you have any PROOF that Celestia would actually DO these things?!” she said her nose pressing against mine.
‘’She hasn’t done them yet,’’ I gasped out, ‘’I’m from the future.’’
The replies ranged from.
‘’COOL! Have you met future Pinkie’’ to ‘’yer lyin, I may not be one a them fancy unicorn types but time travel in gosh-darned impossible!’’
I looked at them. Then I used my magic to get rainbow dash off me. ‘’Generally, yes time travel IS impossible, but if you have a large enough power source such as, say the Elements of Harmony, I said lifting the tiara from my saddle bags.
‘’Ya, stole that ya, lyin thief,’’ shouted Applejack. ‘’God, I cannot believe YOU went on to make AppleCorp ©!’’ I muttered. ‘’Look, you can interrogate me or use a truth spell on my all you want but the results won’t be any different. ‘’Oh, yes they will,’’ said Rainbow. Because Twilight is sending a letter to the princess RIGHT NOW! And WE aren’t listening to these traitors anymore.
I gulped. Perhaps I had overestimated my abilities to convince them . . .

Diamond Sparkle had truly screwed up this time. She told our ancestors and didn’t even have the decency to make them believe us.
Inwardly I sighed. Celestia’s Royal Guard caught us thanks to Twilight Sparkle. There is a 60% chance that Celestia will kill us. A 20% chance that she will merely wipe our memories and send us back. The remaining 10% is various methods of torture. Of course these estimates may be off, as I have never met Celestia in person.
The facts here are simple, they are also unsatisfactory. All six of us are Special Ops. We should not have lost to untrained ponies who will likely never kill in their entire lives. But the facts are as such and there is no changing the past without time travel; a currently impossible feat.
I started to make a mental list of the dilemma we were in:
We are locked in Celestia’s dungeon at the royal palace.
Celestia is likely to come question us soon, she is loved enough by these ponies that Diamond’s illusion is big enough to warrant her attention.
Of course I am not complaining about the first two. It HAS gotten us closer to Celestia.
A Royal Guard then walked in, snapping me out of my thoughts. ‘’Hello, I am Captain Shining
Armour of Equestria’s royal guard.’’ Said Shinning Armour.
I looked at him. ‘’Without any prior knowledge i give it a 70% chance that Shinning Armour isn’t your real name.’’ I said in a monotone.
He glared at me. Apparently i had found an irritant. I continued. ‘’So, Bluemane why does your Princess feel the need to lock my friends and I up. ‘’Her belief that progress is the eighth sin?’’
He walked a few steps closer to me, attempting to intimidate me. ‘’I need answers Earth Pony. You didn’t travel back in time for fun.’’ his voice was anything but friendly. He was annoyed, and he didn’t bother hiding it.
I grinned. ‘’Well, I dunno, maybe I did, maybe I didn’t.’’ I had a reason for my foalish, witty responses; i wanted to get under his skin and it looked like it was working.
‘Shining Armour’ took a deep breath to calm himself. ‘’Listen, I don’t want to hurt you and I won’t if you cooperate.’’ It was an empty statement, we both knew it. A pony like him, no not like him per se, but a pony with his loyalties would go anywhere, kill anyone for Celestia.
‘’All I want to know is why you would time travel. Surely you know the risks involved?’’ I looked at him appraisingly, he looked like a powerful fighter, but looks aren't everything, yet the markings on his armour indicated high rank, he couldn't have gotten those with out being a competent fighter, and I COULD NOT afford to be injured right now.
I was also bound to the wall with an actual iron chain. That was the difficult part. So, the question is how do I make him undo it for me?
I stood up. ‘’So did the alicorn who uses you, like the rest of the Royal Guard as her whores order you to get this information any way possible?’’ I said in a semi-seductive tone.
Shining Armour reacted as I expected he would. ‘’Princess Celestia would NEVER use the Royal Guard like that! Stop these accusations NOW!’’ He shouted.
I walked forward as far as the chain would allow. ‘’You want answers, Shining Armour ?’’ I said his name in the way a pony would say the name of some deadly plague. ‘’Free me.’’
‘’No!’’ He said instantly and firmly.
I smirked, my every movement designed to annoy and frustrate this stallion, ‘’If you can be Celestia’s whore- a pony several hundred times your age, surely you can do one little thing for me?’’
He looked like he was debating with himself, I gave it an 81% (aprox.) chance that he thought he could overpower me. Apparently he won the argument with himself as he used a key on a string to free me. I wasted no time in striking my hooves outward at the pressure point at the base of his neck. He stumbled backward looking stunned, but remained conscious. I dropped into a fighting stance. He was no double digit IQ grunt.
Shining Armour was one of the few non-alicorn ponies in this time period that could actually kill me. I narrowed my eyes. Only one of us was walking out of this alive.

I narrowed my eyes. ‘This would be far, far simpler if I had my gun’ . . .I dodged the sword thaw was swung at me, leaping to the side. Jumping and turning in the air I kicked him in the unarmoured part of his face. He slashed at me with the sword again. need to get that sword away from him! I feigned like I was going to try to buck him again, voluntarily giving him an opening. Slamming a hoof on the hilt of the sword I managed to grab on to it. Chances were he was powerful, but he was also likely to give me an opening while trying to shake me off. If he’d tried to shake me off. Instead he merely pressed me against, the cold hard, stone wall with his magic.
‘’Yield.’’ he said flatly. The blade of his sword pressed into my neck.
I looked at him, then swung my hoof hard against a pressure point on his leg (surprisingly unguarded). He crumpled to the ground, unconscious. I relaxed, picking up his sword. I didn’t hesitate before cleanly decapitating him with a satisfying and moist *schluck* .

I slumped against the wall, wondering if the hoofbeats I heard were a pony coming to interrogate me. It probably was, considering that we’d been here two days now. They weren't luckily, it was actually- cliche as it sounds- Sureshot and Cirrus.
‘’- And I told you I COULD’VE handled it ON MY OWN, ‘Shot!’’ Said Cirrus.
‘’Whether you could handle it or not is a moot point. Do not call me Shot.’’
I just looked at them. ‘’’Can you open the cell already?’’ Sureshot awkwardly opened the cell and my chains with a key obviously meant to be used with unicorn magic.

‘’Our goal is to find our conventional weapons and the EoHs.’’ Said Sureshot, standing in front of the entire group.
‘’So, you don’t think there's a map?’’ Diamond’s question was met by cold glares.
‘’In case you’ve FORGOTTEN Sparkle, you’re the reason we were captured in the first place! Oh, and unicorns, use those horns on your heads to do an item finding spell!’’ Said Ampere, looking like she wanted to disembowel Diamond.
Both unicorns horns started glowing with their magical nimbuses, Nygumi’s green and Diamonds’ red.
‘’You know they look ALOT alike performing magic,’’ mused Ampere.
I looked at her. ‘’What are you saying?’’
‘’Nothing.’’

‘’Well, I’m pretty sure we found our weapons . . . just not the Elements of Harmony . . . ‘’ Diamond trailed off.
Cirrus jumped into the air to be eye-level with Diamond. ‘’What do you mean you CAN’T find the FUCKIN’ ELEMENTS OF HARMONY! Their, like, the most magical artifacts in this time!’’
‘’Yeah, Cirrus is right Diamond, how hard is it? Even I could sense their power when I was near them.’’ Snarled Ampere.
Sureshot walked in between the two ponies. ‘’It is not conductive to the mission to argue.’’ The grey earth pony said in her usual flat monotone. How does she do that? I wondered randomly. Then Nygumi jumped in the air shouting ‘’YES’’ (she hit her head on the low, and slimy looking ceiling). ‘’Ow, that hurt,’’ muttered the pink-maned unicorn. The only thing going through my mind was ( and I’m pretty sure I can speak for all of us here) is: have you gone insane?! The other guards will hear us!
‘’Of course they heard me,’’ Muttered an annoyed looking Nygumi, as seven royal guards ran into the room.
‘’ HALT! You are trespassing on royal property!’’ Yelled the royal guard that had come into the room first.
Ampere looked at me, Sureshot, Nygumi, Cirrus and Diamond. ‘’Here’s the plan- we get their swords and knock all but one out and have them take us to the EoH!’’
Sureshot shook her head. ‘’No need. I calculate a 90% chance that Nygumi found the other set of EoH, the one NOT drained of power from timetravel. Kill the guards.’’ I jumped up, wings flaring outward, the barbs, slashing out his eye. I reared upwards, striking him in the skull, a dull clang reverberating across the room. I saw Cirrus bashing in a pony’s skull with her hooves and Sureshot slashing with a sword.
We made short work of them, I think they must have been rookies. I felt guilty and I didn’t want to kill them, but then again, all is fair in love and war. Nygumi managed to lead us (undetected, thanks to an invisibility spell) to a room with a box on a pedestal.
‘’Well THAT’S just stupid, ’’ Pointed out Ampere, and I had to agree that it WAS semi-cliche (or something).
‘’Whatever,’’ said Cirrus as she and Sureshot walked up to the box. Nervously, the rest of us followed them. It’s probably booby-trapped . Then I realized I was beyond caring.It wasn't like the events of this mission had transformemed me, but I wanted to get it over with, and go back home where I wouldn't be given those open stares because I was a dragonwing.I mean It was one thing to be a part of a minority back home but, to be in a place where your kind had been exiled by Celestia? I walked/flew the rest of the distance, opening the box. I pulled out the element necklace of my ancestor. It glowed softly pink and I heard the sounds of faint, indistinct conversation in my head. Leftover, imprinted memories, nothing more , I reasoned to myself.
‘’Happy, happy, birthday to you and you today!’’
‘‘’Pinkie Pie, who banished fear by giggling in the face of danger, represents the spirit of.. .laughter !’’
I forced the thoughts out of my head, it was still nothing. Pinkie is (was?) very eccentric, maybe even borderline insane, she would leave a stronger imprint then any, normal weilder.
‘’I’m ready. Let’s go kill Princess Celestia,’’ I said, a strange smile twisting my face.

‘’Hey, you okay?’’ Asked Fablehoof, her voice bringing back a fuzzy version of reality.
‘’Fine, let’s go get our guns. Where are they again?’’
Ampere looked at me. ‘’We were just saying that two seconds ago, can’t you pay attention.’’
I glared at her. ‘’Of course!’’
‘’Prove it.’’ I snarled at her and followed Sureshot out the door. What was that? Rainbow Dash’s memories? I looked down at the necklace I had apparently put on despite having no memories of doing so. No, that was wrong i’d had it on twice before . . . defeating Discord and Nightmare Moon. My eyes widened. Is she trying to possess me?! My name is Cirrus. I am from The Lunar Republic .

It was easy enough to find our guns, dumped in what looked like a pile of stuff taken from prisoners. I smiled when I touched mine with my wing. Sure, the Elements Of Harmony were more powerful, but they worked on the power of Friendship. Eeesh. There were somethings that were just too babyish. Still, I knew the things were powerful, so I followed Diamond out of the room.
‘’So, how exactly are we going to do this?’’ said Diamond in the way someone would say, So, how do we convince a rich unicorn to screw a hippo? (Yes, I have heard that, I dared my cousin to try).
‘’We knock out the guards with sniper fire, storm in, activate the elements and blow her to hell?’’ Suggested Nygumi.
‘’No. Killing the her guards will alert her. They will likely be so brainwashed they die in the blast anyway.’’
This is a suicide mission, I realized, even if we succed, . . .Luna. **No , our Luna will save us. I will NOT die today.

‘’We’re here, ‘’ announced Ampere, ‘’Let’s go kill an alicorn. Activate your elements girls, ‘’ she said with a wry smirk. I reached out to my element and felt a sudden urge NOT to use the Elements of Harmony on Celestia, to obey every command she gives. To be loyal, to be loyalty. I am not Rainbow Dash, I am a bearer but I will keep my free will you stupid piece of extremely lethal junk.
I ran in the room, shouting ‘’FOLLOW ME GUYS!!’’ The throne room was lavish, the windows stained glass mosaics of Celestia's various victories. In the center was Celestia herself, on a throne with a pair of guards next to her. Nygumi stepped in front of me. ‘’Focus on the power, ‘’ she muttered probably to herself.
I felt the archaic power welling up inside me as I shut my eyes, and when I opened them I could tell that they would simply be glowing light. Celestia had a spell on her horn, but the strange way my vision was now, as far as I could tell the more magic something had, the brighter it glowed, told me that our spell would hit first. A blinding white rainbow of Colors that I could see, yet not see at the same time rose over our heads.
When it hit Celestia I saw it from two different points of view. One was through my eyes and the other above her. The moment both POVs saw it hit her, maybe before a shock wave rippled across the room, and like someone flipping a switch darkness filled my vision.

‘’Ungh . . . my head, ow,ow that fuckin’ hurts, ow!’’ Somebody I think Nygumi, said.
‘’Mmmmgh . . .’’ Why is my bed so cold and hard?’’ Oh right, it’s not a bed. I’m on the floor. Why am I on the floor and not on a cloud? Wait, cloud, I don’t sleep on clouds, damn it I had another Rainbow Dash moment.
Then the events of the past few days rushed into my mind in a multi-colored swirl. I jumped up, surveying the room around me. There was a huge alicorn-shaped scorch mark on the floor, the (obviously dead) bodies of the guards and no sign of the alicorn herself.
‘’Yes! Yes, yes yes! WE DID IT!’’ I said in shock and happiness. I don’t care what the world is like backhome, IT’L BE WORTH iT! Well maybe not if we have to stay in this time . . .but still . I looked around at the others who were wearing the same expression as me on their faces: holy shit this is AWESOME!
‘’I can’t believe we did it, ‘’ said Fablehoof, ‘’alicorns are supposed to be immortal.’’
‘’Well, apparently they haven’t met the Elements of Harmony!’’ Said Nygumi.
‘’I’m afraid you are mistaken, my little ponies .’’ The creature that said this seemed to made of pure, shifting, flame, it's voice was cold and deadly.
‘’HEY CELERY! I wasn’t afraid of you and i’m DEFIDENTLY not afraid of your ghost! Just go to hell already, pyschobitch!’’ I shouted at it.
‘’I am no GHOST !’’ A a wave of power slammed through the room, as soon as it toched me I screamed in pain, wings flaring outward. I fell against the floor, my mouth felt charred, that bitch ELECTROCUTED ME!
I forced myself to stand. ‘’I’m NOT your little pony. ‘’
She tilted her head, as if appraising me. ‘’I’m surprised you’re still alive, let alone standing.
‘’Yeah well i’m special like that.’’
‘’You’re brave . . . and this existence is so BORING! They’ll forgive me if I have a little fun, don't they. Won’t you Blitzy?’’ She closed her eyes, as if listening and I suddenly remembered what year Equestria collapsed: 1004. Great, I’m the only conscious pony in a room with an insane alicorn .
She gave me a strange look. ‘’Unconscious? Oh, no, no, no my little pony: they're dead. They needed to die. It was for the greater good. ‘’
‘’But YOU don’t need to die, Blitzy and Corona say it’s alright if I have a little fun with you,’’ she loomed over me halfway fire and halfway not.
‘’Go. To. Hell. ‘’ I spat.
Her eyes widened. ‘’Cirrie! Bad girl! That’s not how you talk to somepony whose offering you the chance to complete your mission AND save the lives of your friends.’’ I looked over at the steaming bodies behind me.
‘’Their’s gotta be a catch-’’ Celestia’s horn was glowing. No, wait, what is she-

-Doing? Huh where am I? I took a deep breath, I felt incredibly sore, but not like I was dying of internal bleeding (a common occurrence if a pony is magically electrocuted). So where am I? It was dark, and felt soft . . . like a bed, but this wasn’t my bed, I had a hammock. So where was I?
I can’t really say I was surprised when I heard the voice of Twilight Sparkle: ‘’What are you doing on my bed, exactly?’’
Colors blurred, and I heard Celestia’s voice, ‘’No not quite right, Whitetail wood maybe? Or even Everfree? She was trained.’’ My body hit the ground with a *thump*.
