Our Letters to Twilight

Rules & Advice:

You can send any friendship letter to my in my journal through here. But there will be some rules to follow:

1/ I shouldn't have to say this but no naughty language or as such. I don't think Twilight will appreciate that and lets also keep this available for everyone of all ages.

2/ Don't let them know that there is a TV show about them. Believe me it will only make things complicated for her and her friends, and for us too. So no references to what you've seen in the show. But as well as that it could risk breaking the space time continuum for all we know.

3/ This isn't about sending fan letters this is sending pure friendship reports, something you have learned about friendship. How can it be a friendship report if it's nothing to do with reporting what you've learned about friendship?

4/ Get straight to the point about your friendship lessons, please don't try to elaborate on something that has nothing to do with your lesson.  So don't do anything like this:

'As I got up this morning, I took my shower, I ate my breakfast, brushed my teeth, took my keys, got out of the house, locked the door, turned around, walked across my garden, crossed the road from my house, turned right, strolled through the park, took a short cut over the fence leading towards the town square, walked into the town square, waited for my friends to show up, put my hands into my pockets and lend against the wall. Watched cars drive past, such as red cars, blues cars, white cars, some more red cars and blue cars and realized as I had my hands in my pockets my wallet wasn't in there. So I left the town square, to the short cut leading from the town square, strolled through the park again, turned left blah blah blah etc. etc. etc.'

No, No, NO!!!! Remember it's about what you've learned that day, not you routine that day. So if your friendship report is about the good you can do by making a new friend then base your report of that. Re-read or re-watch Twilight and her friends letters for further examples. Also, please don't put any personal details about where you live or peoples names and as such.

5/ Please understand that although I could edit some things in your report to improve grammar and correct spelling, I am not an editor, I am simply someone who knows how to send letters to Twilight, so please cut me a bit of slack and make sure everything is spelled correctly and such. I'd recommend first writing your reports using Microsoft word/ Libre Office to aid in your work. Anything with too many errors will not be considered for sending. Sorry.

6/ Remember you are sending a letter, so please write your letter LIKE a letter, presented as such.

I hope this won't be too difficult too for you to do. If your letter is too messy, it will not be consider for sending. It would be easier and quicker for me to copy and paste your letters into our friendship journal as there will be many submissions by fans alike (or at least I hope so) which I will have to look through and not to mention that I'd have to rewrite your reports on pen and paper ready for sending and [CLASSIFIED INFORMATION] for Twilight to receive it via Spike.

7/ You can not send pictures such as photographs, drawings, paintings, music, videos, files of any kind from anywhere via web links (believe me, it won't work in paper format). It's just pure writing from here on in. And no, you cannot send a physical materials as well.

8/ No secret messages to hide from me. Why would someone want to have a secret message in the letters for? Just NO!!! Enough said.

FAQ

So what's with the sending the friendship reports to Twilight?

To encourage Princess Twilight to show her that she and her friends has inspired more beings than she realizes through their adventures, challenges, and relationships to help encourage her and give her more reasons to continue her pursuits to spread the magics of friendship across the kingdom and beyond. Did I forget to mention that she likes to read. A lot? Also, getting in touch with Twilight is pretty cool, don't you think?

Why submit the reports here exactly?

So that we can also learn the lessons of others through the magic of friendship. Think of it as a public service for us at no cost to anyone. That's right, free friendship study galore. Let's share our stories, it will help us all to unite, learn from one another and possibly build more friendships. Friendship galore.

Are you for real?

Yes. Yes I am. However if you don't believe me or have any small doubts in anyway, then just do it for the sake of fun. It's still worth a shot isn't it, and this isn't just being sent to Twilight it's going to be submitted here in this collage of friendship reports for all to see. We can all benefit from these letters ourselves and learn things from each other. Whether you believe me to have a connection to the Princess of Friendship or not, have fun with your reports regardless.

Should I put in my name, phone number and address details in the hopes that she'll someday manage to get in touch with me?

That's a no no. First and foremost, your details are going to be put in public and to me so please practice your skills in online security, STAY SECURE. Secondly, she can't get back to you or anyone else, not even me; it wouldn't shock me in the slightest if she had already tried to do so and failed. As far as names are concerned, I'd prefer it if you'd use your user name or a nickname, but if you really feel you must, you may only add in your first name too.

Why should I have to send my friendship report to you for your approval to be sent it to her. Why can't I post it to her myself?

Twilight is one pony, but we are many...way too many. Twilight is a very busy mare, although she loves to read and organize and she has a huge palace to store her reading materials, if I were to let everyone here on earth post their letters to her for as many times as we all like, she won't possibly be able to store ever single letter that everyone here sends to her, let alone be capable of having the time to read them all. She is one of the four rulers of Equestria and even she herself needs some social time; she is the Princess of Friendship after all, so lets not add any more strain to that. But as well as that, it's not very healthy for Spike. Remember the last to time something like that happened? Yeah, now imagine that for years to come. I wouldn't like it to happen to me, I'm sure you wouldn't like it too, so how else is spike going to feel about it.

How do you post your written letters to her? Please tell

I'm afraid I can't do that. I only know how to send letters to Twilight via spike, that's already way too many people; in fact I feel that I really shouldn't know how I only did it because I was too curios for my own good. If I give out those secrets then everybody could be sending letters to her non stop throughout the rest of her life; plus poor Spikey Wikey. No one should ever have to be put through all of that, no matter what they did.

How many letters can I send?

One. I even said that in the description. Like I said there will be a great deal of people wanting to get in touch with her so lets not multiply that figure any higher, both for me and for her.

How long will this opportunity last for?

A good question that I cannot give a straight answer too. I'm one of those 'thinking in the present types,' We'll just have to take things as they come. Whenever I cannot continue on with sending the reports, that will be when I'll stop and will be stated in the description.

Have you met Twilight Sparkle and her friends in person/pony?

No, I haven't.

Have you met anypony in Equestria? Actually, now that I think about it, if you have then that can only mean that you've REALLY been to Equestria!!!

Nothing ever face to face with anypony and I won't be elaborating on that, nor will I ever be asking any more questions in regards to myself, the ponies, Equestria, its places, its history or anything that relates or seen in the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic TV show and otherwise. To be honest, I think it would be best not to answer these questions or to be asked such questions of such nature. Any questions that do will be ignored.
