TOLD FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF APPLEJACK

It's been three years since King Sombra first returned and brought with him his Crystal Empire, fightin' against Princess Celestia's Solar Resistance for control of Equestria. Really, Ah can't help but wish that all of this would end, an' we ponies could just go back to our peaceful lives.

Oddly, Ah've had this gut feelin' for a long time, gnawing away at me day and night. It's tellin' me that what Ah'm seein' is all just an anomaly, that it shouldn't be, but how can Ah trust it if the bloodshed and casualties are all real in mah eyes?

It wasn't until they come along that Ah finally got an answer, and it was a shockin' one indeed.

Anomaly takes place during the King Sombra timeline presented in the Season 5 finale, and also happens to be my first attempt at writing a 1st person POV.
