Equestria was invaded, and Chrysalis had won. In a world filled with Changelings, trickery and deceit are present in the everyday lives of those who still survive. The problem is, the Changelings have evolved so that they die as the pony they are disguised as, so it isn't really possible to tell if they were ever really Changelings anymore. Nopony has seen a changeling in its natural form for over a year and a half.

The question now is, are the Changelings even in Equestria anymore? Or have they moved on, looking for new prey? Do some still lurk within the shadows?
