I woke up, Celestia's bright sun shining in my eyes. "Ugh... I wish the night lasted forever so I can sleep as much as I want." I groaned, rolling out of my bed only to land on the floor. "Ow. I really need to stop doing this, I'm going to break a leg." I trotted over to my vanity, using my magic to brush my hair. I looked at myself in the mirror, taking in my blue and purple mane, green and blue eyes, and my small unicorn horn. I sighed and walked down the stairs to the kitchen. The first thing I noticed was that my mom wasn't down there. "Wierd.... Where's mom?" I thought out loud. Out of nowhere I heard my little sister, Angel crying. I walked into the nursery, to see what the source of her tears was. It was mom. "Oh, hi mom." I greeted. "Huh? Hello honey!" I tilted my head. Why was she not in the kitchen making breakfast? I heard my dad, Math Crystal walking down the stairs. "Good morning everypony!" I heard him shout. I turned and made my way to the dining room. I sat down in my wooden chair. "Ella, I'm going to be sitting there today." My mom- or who I thought was my mom said. I narrowed my eyes. This pony wasn't my mom, she would have known that the seat was the seat that I always sat in. I got up, and went to sit in my mom's usual seat.
I waited for my mom to make breakfast like she usually did. That never happened. "Well? Isn't somepony going to make breakfast? I'm starving!" I exchanged glances with My dad. He obviously suspected something as well. He got up, and headed towards the living room, motioning for me to follow. I made sure "mom" didn't follow. Once I got into the living room My dad started to talk. "I'm going to work today, but I'm going to bring something special home with me. I want to see how your mother reacts." I was confused, what was he bringing home? "Angel started to cry again. "Ugh, won't that brat sht up?!?!" I heard my "mom" mumble before I walked back into the dining room. "Okay, mom dad just left for work, and now I'm going to go to school." I started to walk away when my "mom" stopped me. "Honey, please be careful, you know I don't like you walking to school alone..." I tensed up, that was only a one-time thing! And I was walking with friends that day! This mare wasn't my mom.
I walked out the front door, trotting to the bus stop, meeting my friends Derpy, and Golden Harvest. "Hey Ella! Hows it going?" Golden asked. I glanced at the ground, hoping neither of the girls noticed. Derpy tilted her head. "You alright Ella? You look kind of sad!" Derpy was frowning at me. I shook my head. "Everything's okay, Derpy. It's just my mom's acting wierd. Not the same at all." Derpy and Golden didn't look happy. "Do you think it's a changeling?" Golden asked, her eyes worried. I was about to answer, but I was pushed to the ground. "Ow... Hey! What was that for?" I looked up at the filly who had pushed me. It was Trixie. "Hmph. You were in Trixie's way brat. Watch where you're standing." Trixie sneered. I looked at my friends. They had backed away a little bit. Trixie ha been bullying us since the beginning of the school year, and always blamed stupid things on us. The bus pulled up, and the driver, Doctor looked worried. "Are you alright?" He asked. I nodded as Derpy and Golden helped me up.
After school that day, I walked home from the bus stop. Looking to my left and right, as if I was being followed. I heard hoofsteps behind me. I turned around, there wasn't anypony there. "Hello? Is anypony there?" I called. I turned back around to meet the eyes of an adult pony. I gave out a little meep. It was a colt, he had black fur, a blue mane, but the part that caught my attention was the fact that he was an alicorn. He gave me a warm smle that made my heart flutter. "Oh. You're not Golden Heart..." His smile immediately turned into a frown. He backed up a bit. I looked around me, there was a unicorn standing next to my house, looking through the window. "Golden Heart!" The colt called to the unicorn. She didn't move her gaze from the window. I ran towards her, she turned her head to me. "Shh! I need to know what's going on in there!" She whisper-yelled. The colt walked over to us. I looked in the window at what was going on in my home. There was a bright green light, alot of yelling, and the thing that got my attention- a echoed laufgh coming from the green light. "Do you live here?" Golden Heart asked, not looking away from the window.
"Yes. I do live here." I confirmed, looking through the window again to see a giant portal. "There it is Dusk... That's our key home...." Golden Heart rushed to the front door, and broke it down. The strange green light turned into a pony. A creepy bug-like pony. "I knew you weren't my mom! Where is she?!?!" I yelled, getting the mare's attention. "Oh look at the meal I have before me..." She started to laugh as she launched herself at me, Golden Heart, and Dusk. We all dodged. I looked into the dining room. I saw my little sister in there. I ran over to her, pulled her onto my back, only to get my hooves stuck to the floor. "Now stay still little filly, this won't hurt- much...." I closed my eyes. Waiting for impact. It never came, In fact, I felt my hooves go free. I looked up at my savior. To tell the truth, I didn't even have to look up at the pony who saved me. I as eye-level with her. She was a f]pink unicorn with a purple mane, and blue eyes. "Hi!" She greeted. "Come with me if you wanna not die." I looked over at the kitchen table, there was my mom's old grey bow. I ran over put it on, and followed the filly. "Through the portal!" She shouted over all the fighting. Dusk and Golden heart pushed me through the portal, my little sister on my back. I fell for what seemed like forever, until finally, I hit the ground. "Welcome- to Evona!" I heard the filly's voice say. I looked up, this place was not Eqestria.
