Chapter 4: Faster than the Sonic Rainboom

Days after Heart Apple came to Ponyville, it was quite a normal day. The weather pegasi cleared some clouds away to make it a beautiful morning. Except for one cloud, which a rainbow-maned pegasus pony named Rainbow Dash was sleeping on. She woke up later and stretched for a bit, then took off to do some flying. She flew around so quickly, she didn't notice that something, or somepony, bumped into her. She was nearly crashing into the ground when that same pony who accidentally bumped into her actually saved her.

“Are you alright?” the pony said. She had a purple coat with golden hooves, orange and yellow streaked mane and tail, and a golden earring on one ear. “Yeah, I'm good.” Rainbow Dash said while brushing off the dust from her forelegs. “But, don't bump into me like that, that distracted me from flying.” “My bad, I was just heading into town.” the other pony said. Rainbow Dash nodded, “I get it, but next time, watch where you're going.” Then she looked at the pony with the golden earring. “Say, you flew pretty fast there.” “Uh… Thanks?” The Pony said with a hesitant expression. “No problem. My name's Rainbow Dash.” Rainbow Dash exclaimed proudly. “What's your name?” “My name is Wanona Isabel Zoomer, but everypony calls me W.I.Z.” the pony said with a normal expression. Rainbow Dash gasped in surprise. “Wow! That is a totally awesome name!” “Thanks,” W.I.Z. replied. “the name fits with my description” “What description?” Rainbow Dash asked.

W.I.Z. got ready, and a nanosecond, she took off. She flew even faster than Rainbow Dash’s speed when she flew. Rainbow Dash couldn't believe her eyes when she saw this unnatural speed of the unique pegasus pony. After W.I.Z. was done, he landed on the ground, not breaking a sweat. Rainbow Dash stood there in both shock and amazement. Never has she ever seen anypony else with that speed. “That… Was… totally… AWESOME!!!!!!” Rainbow Dash yelled, “Incredible, fantastic, absolutely amazing!!! I have never seen you with THAT much speed before!” W.I.Z lightly blushes “Oh it was nothing…” “No! I'm serious! That was the most amazing speed ever! Do you wanna hang out?” Rainbow Dash exclaimed in excitement. “Sure. I could use some company while I find a Cloud House to move into.” W.I.Z. said with the same excitement.

And with that, a beautiful friendship was formed.
