Raven of Equestria
Chapter 1
The Raven inspected his AC in the hanger. He looked at the right arm. Thinking what would the emblem would be. He never had a clue of what it would be. He couldn't think of an emblem no matter what he did. He knew he would need one someday. He forgot about it, and started to prepare for the coming mission.
"Are you sure about using that strandard Hogire," Celestia asked.
"Those other models were good but, I'd rather take the basic one," he answered.
"You're the Lynx."
"What was the mission called again?"
"The first strike."
"And who did you say I'll be sent with?"
"Frost."
"Our operator?"
"You'll find that out later."
Mean while Frost was finishing his emblem. He stepped away from the arm, and gazed at it. A crescent moon surrounded by ice. He thought of changing it, but he knew he wouldn't have time. Feeling his face covered with sweat he wiped it with a rag. Hearing a hoofstep behind him he quickly looked to see who it was. Seeing that it was Luna he sighed with relief.
"Please, don't sneak up on me like that, Princess," he said.
"Sorry, about that. It's just that you have a mission," she said levitating a doucment toward him.
"I wonder what it could be," he said reading the doucment. "Is this all?"
"Everything you'll need, but your operator."
"Can't you tell me our operator?"
"But I didn't want to ruin the suprise," she said trotting off.
"What surprise?" Why do I have a bad feeling about the surprise.
Later in the evening before the mission, the Raven checked to if he had any unread mail. Seeing that there was one new message he thought of reading it later. He read the message.
To the Raven. This is will be both our first mission. I hope we get along well enough to go on another mission together. I'll be piloting a black, and blue standard Aliyah. I'll see you on field. Frost.
As their dropship started to enter the combat their operator started to talk. They were suprised to hear who it was. It was Princess Luna herself. They wondered why she was their operator.
"Princess, no disrespect, but why are you our operator," Frost asked nervously.
"This was the surprise," she answered.
"So will you be our operator from now," the Raven asked.
"I thought of trying my hoof at being an operator. If this gose well, I'll think about it. The dropship is in the middie of the combat zone. Perpare for AC drop."
"Alright, let's get this party started," Frost said as his AC was dropped.
My first mission as a Raven. And as a princess's raven. I have to do this to the best of my abilities. I may have been here a two weeks, but... he stopped thinking when his AC was dropped. Within a minute was five feet from the ground. He engaged the boosters slowing him down. He landed softly on the ground.
"The mission is now underway," Luna said. "Normals are the main target. They've been located across the bridge. Eliminate them."
"Let's go Raven," Frost said boosting to the bridge.
"Don't get in over your head," the Raven said boosting after him.
They came to a group of MTs. The Raven lanuched scatter missiles taking out half of the group, then Frost destoryed the others with the machine gun. Coming to the bridge to they spotted two MTs stood by the bridge. Seeing them the MTs began to shoot. They dodged every shot while getting closer to them. When they where by the MTs side they laser bladed the MTs in half. The MTs exploded soon after. They both turned, and looked at the explosion.
As they crossed the bridge a fleet of helicopters were between the bridge. They didn't pay any attention to them. They kept boosting to the location of the normals. The helicopters opened fire. They were only weaking the primal armor. When they came to the other side they saw two normals.
"Enemy reinforcements," Luna said. "More normals."
"How many," Frost asked.
"Five." The Raven overboosted to one, then laser bladed it. Frost followed by with a shot from his laser cannon. They destoryed the normal. They did the same thing to the other normals. "Destruction of all targets con- What?"
"What is it," the Raven asked.
"Enemy reinforcement. It's coming in fast! A Next?!" A black, and white AC was overboost in the air. Frost gasped in fear.
"It's him," Frost said nervously.
"Him, who," the Raven asked.
"The Lynx killer himself, Exile."
"The mission is already completed," Luna said. "Get out of there, now!" The AC landed on the bridge. It turned toward them. It began boosting over to them. They both stood firm, waiting for him to come closer. When he within two feet of them he started to charge them with a laser blade. They both quick boosted to the side. Before the laser blade disappered he quick-turned making the laser blade curve. It grazed the Raven's primal armor. Exile fired a grenade launcher that bearly missed, Frost. They both quick-turned to, Exile, then began shooting him. His AC showed no signs of taking damage. He stayed across the bridge trying to shoot them down with the grenade launcher. When they where across he stopped firing.
"That was too close," the Raven said.
"Who was that Lynx," Luna asked.
"Exile," Frost said. "A Lynx killer. He's top ranked Lynx that everyone knows. He one pilot everyone wants to evade. Fighting him is a death wish. He's a Lynx that mostly everyone fears."
"Sounds like he'll be a challenage for you," Celestia said coming behind the Raven.
"Wait, you think I can defeat him," the Raven asked.
"I know can."
"I hope you're right, Princess."
"By the way," Frost said. "Luna. Are you going to be our operator?"
"From how that mission I'll stay as your operator," she said.
"The mission went as planned," Exile said.
"Did you see anything," a voice asked.
"Two new Linx. They were Princess Luna's, and Princess Celestia's. It was them."
"So they aren't dead. This could be trouble."
"How can they be trouble?"
"Just a wild guess. There has been one thing I've been meaning to ask you. Why did you chose me?"
"I don't care what happens to the world. Whoever pays the highest in the one I'll go to."
"You are a strange Lynx."
