Going, Going, and the Episode is Gone: 1 (1)
I had packed a number of items in a basket, including the suits I had intended for us to enjoy. Basically; a set of bikinis, gloves, stockings; pastries, and the map to where I had intended for us to go. I have a few scribbled lines on the back of the map, information for Twilight Sparkle to read, once we are about to go, to where the map is taking us.
With the basket stacked with all I had intended to bring, I step out of my skirt and kick it up to land on the bed stand, before I pull the top up over my head and place it on the pile of yesterday’s clothes. I slip into a pair of fresh, pink cotton panties, before I slip in under the quilt in my bed. The next moment I lay my head on the pillow and fall asleep.
Naturally, I had told Rarity to be at the castle first thing in the morning. That way, I would save time, so that we could be going to where I had in mind; first thing tomorrow. I had even taken the liberty of explaining that we were to have breakfast, once we were on the way; just to save a moment of arguing. While I was at it, I had even prompted the two of them to make preparations for being out for a full week, and no less.
As the sun of Celestia’s peak the horizon, and tentatively send scattered rays of light in through the window of my room; the light inadvertently hit the blue, and yellow balloons flooding my ceiling; thus reflecting spreads of coloured light over the room. Some of the light hit the special pink, shy balloons now spread out over the floor of the room; making them flee the dangers of the open space in utter haste in panic. Some light is also playing over my bed, and hitting my eyes; causing me to promptly wake up.
I fold the pink quilt formerly laid down over my body up towards the wall, and slide my legs off of the bed, thus acquiring a sitting position, before setting hooves on the now clear wooden floor.
From my sitting position; I set hoof on the floor, and rise to my full height; before I slip out of the nighty panties, and step into the new, and fresh skirt of the day, and slip the matching top down over my head. From there; I grab the basket by the handle, and bounce to the door.
I had opened the door; before closing it after myself, as I exited the room in excited anticipation. Rushing down the rail of the flight of stairs in utter silence, and jumping down to the floor, trotting to the outer door.
Opening the back door, and closing it behind me as I step out into the first light of a new day; the day for which I had made all the specific, and complicated preparations the previous day.
Now I merely afford casting a cursory glance towards the Carousel Boutique, on my way to the castle where Twilight Sparkle is currently residing.
Sprinting through the still quiet village, as bustling as it may be in full daylight; now in utter silence and stillness. Sticking to my breakneck speed as I bounce up one street, and down the next. If any Pony had been looking out, and saw me; they would have no chance knowing that it is the pink mare by the name of Pinkie Pie galloping through the streets.
As I approach the castle; I slow down to a mare forced, high-speed trot, and stop mere inches from her door upon which I then give a firm, and decisive set of knocks. With that; I stop in order to listen to the hoof steps I know is forthcoming, in a moment or two.
Brave seconds are ticking by bravely as I wait, for what I know is behind the door. The next instant, the door quietly creaks open and spills forth the light purple mare I had been waiting for.
“Greetings, Pinkie Pie; bright and early!” she promptly responded.
“Hiya, dear Twilly!” I responded; as she stepped out of the way and presented me with the entrance I had been meant to follow, and felt her closing the door as I stepped into the hall of purple crystal, shiny and shimmering; just the way I knew Rarity loved it.
“You certainly are early today, Pinkie Pie. I take it you had everything prepared, and well in hand; since well before you woke up, today?” she prompted.
“Tick, tock; tick, tock. Time is candy!” I blurted out, giggling.
“In that case, you are bound to outlive not just me; but Celestia and Luna in a heartbeat!” she responded, gasping for air.
“Of course I have everything prepared, how else could I be the party Pony of Ponyville?” I poked at her chest, and looked her deeply in her purple eyes.
“I guess I could afford an instant to inspect the items, as we wait for Rarity to show up?” she suggested patiently.
“Sure thing; here is the map, there is the pile of pastries; and there are the wears for the trip. It is going to be nice and warm, or rather Hot!” I pointed out, pointing at each item in turn as I mentioned them; ticking of the list for her, before she even had thought of it.
“You are a Jack of all Elements; and utterly merciless, when it comes to planning ahead of time. You know that, right; Pinkie?” she gasped.
“I have heard that said, once or twice!” I responded.
“Of course, Rarity will be pleased; since you already planned for both the food and the wears. Even if it isn’t of her designs!” Twilight pointed out.
That is when I hear a distinct, yet polite knock on the door.
From a few yards out of reach, it falls squarely upon Twilight’s shoulders to open the door. The tip of her horn is instantly going alight, before the intensity grows and cascades down the peak like an avalanche of bright purple intensity of magic. Just as it hit the bottom, it reaches out and beams towards the door, which abruptly opened in a flash of light. The next instant, Rarity spill unceremoniously into the hall, stumbling in between us.
“Since you prompted such unladylike haste, you have everything with you, like you promised; dear Pinkie Pie?” Rarity exclaimed.
“Yeppers, deppers; I most certainly do have it all. Right here in my basket. Now, if you please; let’s make haste to the map in the throne room, shall we?” I prompted; eagerly as I am looking forwards, to what is before us.
“I inspected the content, as hasty as it may have been with Pinkie Pie holding the basket; but it is all there!” Twilight extended; thus pulling us all on our way, along the long, shiny and still very empty halls of purple crystal.
In haste; Twilight opened the door to the room with the still available magic on her horn, and quietly closed it behind, us as we had entered the room.
As we stand before the map in the middle of the room, encircled by our thrones; I pull up the map and push it into Twilight’s right hand.
“Now, if you look at the map; and identify our current location, and the target location for our intended destination?” I explained.
“Current location, check! Target location, check!” she exclaimed; as she found the two places respectively on both the printed, and the stone map of our Harmony.
“Now; if you read the inscription on the back of the parchment scroll, please?” I instructed her.
I could see her hesitantly turning the page; before reading the text, curiosity growing as she did as indicated.
The next moment, her magic exploded; before encircling us in chrysalises of intense, hot purple magic; causing us to shrink. The next moment the cup over the map formed, before it pulled us all in; dumping us on the intended target location in both time and space.
As I open my eyes, I see a dimly lit room with an open fire in one corner of the room; while there is a countdown on the opposing wall.
