A Shadow of My Former Self

It was a normal day. Get up, go to school, have a few issues, (not too big) get home, and play video games. Well, that's what would usually happen. I ACTUALLY was outside. I never got a good look of the woods surrounding my house, so I finally decided to check them out.

"Rainbow Dash!" ??? yelled. (1)

'Who else out here is a brony?  I don't know of any others.' Deciding to investigate, I run towards the woods, the source of the noise. After about five minutes, I finally give up.

'Which way is out?' I start walking again, but not before my vision is obscured by a golden light.

'Uhhh… what the actual FUCK happened?' Putting my hand, I feel something off about it. Opening my eyes, I see, where a hand should have been, a hoof.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE HELL????!!!!!!!" I scream, very evidently startled by this. Trying to stand up, I find I can do it naturally. Examining the rest of my body, I find that I have a red spiked mane, black coat, and a red tail. The oddest part was a Chaos Emerald as my cutie mark. The red one, to be precise.
