Turns out, after me and Gage had a talk, that Gage got here in the same way. He was out collecting wood, and the next thing he knows, he's enveloped in the same golden light and in Equestria.

"So, how do you think this happened?" Gagae asks, sadly. He was very down afterwards. Sure, Equestria is cool, but it doesn't have family.

"I feel like Celestia fucked up a spell. I mean, COME ON! Golden light that transports us to Equestria? It makes sense." I reply. I had mixed feelings towards the event.

"Anyways, nothing is gonna make sense if we don't get some sleep. It's been one helluva day. See you tomorrow." I point out.

"Good night." Gage responds.

The next day…

I get up, yawning.

"Well, look who's finally up. Spike already cooked breakfast. And DAMN, his pancakes are good." Gage informs me as I start doing a sit up. I found it a good way to crack my back. Although it was MUCH harder as a pony. I notice Gage seems in better spirits today.

"Well, thanks bro. What are you gonna do today?" Since we just got here, I had no idea what to do.

"I'm gonna try to find out what episode we're in. With any luck, it's one we've watched." 'Makes sense. We don't wanna cause a time paradox or something.'

When I get in the kitchen, I see Twilight sorting books in the library, even though Spike usually did.

"Hey Twilight Sprinkle! Got a minute?" 'Ah, damn. This is gonna be AWESOME.'

Twilight trots over to me, an annoyed look on her face.

"First of all, 'Shadow Spike', it's Twilight SPARKLE not sprinkle. And second, I have five minutes. So what do you want?" 'Oh, hell YES.'

"Anyways, Twinkle Sparkle, how do you pick things up?" I ask, a grin slowly creeping across my face.

"That's easy. You just hold them. Like this," she demonstrates  by grabbing a book off the shelf, even more annoyed that I got her name wrong again, and slightly confused at the odd question.

"Yeah, but how do you do it without claws, like Spike?" I ask. I can barely hold my laughter in.

"Well, it's because… well… I don't know." She states, a greatly flummoxed look on her face.

"Weeellll, think on it please. It's a question that's always bugged me." 'OHMYGODWHATHAVEIDONETHISISSOAWESOMEHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHA!' To me, this was one of the most exciting things I could have asked.

Twilight turns to leave, still wearing that flummoxed expression. As soon as I know she can't hear me, I burst into laughter. Spike and Gage come from the hallway. Apparently, they heard the whole thing.

"Bet you 100 bits she can't figure it out by Winter Wrap-Up without help." I say, hardly able to speak with all my laughing.

Spike and Gage, look at each other, then my extended hoof, and shake on it.

"You've got a deal." They all say in unison.
