Love That Can't Be Explained
I was all ready, my dress, my mane, everything was perfect and all prepared.
I looked at myself in the mirror and saw the unicorn mare everypony believed was average.
"Are you ready, honey?" my mother, Silver Swirl, asked me from behind.
"Yes, Mother. I should be ready." I lived with my family still for a reason I'll get to later.
All three of us got into the carriage and we rode off to the gala.
Although we lived close by, Night Dreams really wanted to ride in style.
I couldn't blame her though, she IS my little sister after all.
"Oooohhh! It's look so amazing, Mommy! Do you think I get to meet the princesses tonight?" my ten-year-old sister said eagerly.
"I dunno, Dreams. It all depends on how the evening goes." my mother said with a sigh, I knew what was bugging her.
"I hope so! I've been wanting to meet Luna and Celestia for awhile!"
"Dreams, we're here! Let's show how we party!" I said to my little sister.
We ran out of the carriage and into the gala doors.
Once we arrived into the castle, we saw Celestia waiting to shake the next hoof.
And of course, little Night Dreams ran up to greet her.
Mother and I followed closely behind and we heard a slight giggle nearby.
"I can't believe I'm meeting you Celestia! You're the best princess ever!" Night Dreams giggled.
"Why thank you little one. It's nice to meet you as well. Now, where's your family?" Dreams gestured us forward.
"Your majesty, I apologize my daughter's excitement. She got it from her father," my mother apologized.
"It's alright madame'. Your daughter reminds me of my sister when she was your age."
Once we were finished with the princess, which was for an hour, the three of us arrived into the ballroom.
"Ooooohhh! Mommy, I'm gonna take a look around if you don't mind." Dreams took off but my mother followed.
I shook my head with a smile and went over to the punch bowl.
"Ahem, who, may I ask, are you?" a voice behind me asked.
I turned around to see a white unicorn with a blond mane and tail, also wearing a black suit and a blue bow tie.
"Oh, sorry. I'm Musical Love. Who are you?" I asked, using my manners.
"I'm Prince Blueblood, Princess Celestia's nephew. And you're very lovely." that comment made me blush.
"Um, thank you. You're so...." I was about to say something when a mare interrupted.
"Excuse me, but I don't think you'll want to talk to him." a white unicorn mare with a curly purple mane appeared beside me.
"Hello, Rarity. But I was just trying to talk to a lovely mare without you rudely interrupting her." the prince said sternly.
"Well excccuusee me for trying to protect her from a self-centered prince!" I put my hoof on her shoulder to calm down.
"Sorry, but still, you don't want to be around him." Rarity walked away.
"What was that all about? I mean, you're not a self-centered prince are you?" I asked the prince.
"I tend to be a little self-centered I will admit. Also, Rarity and I have a bad history and she should've let it go by now."
I had no idea what to say but I blushed when he asked me "Would you like a dance my dear?"
I took it and as we danced, I started to notice that he really WAS self-centered.
I decided I needed to get away for awhile so I took off when he was at the punch bowl.
I went out to the castle gardens to see a yellow Pegasus wearing a light gown playing with the animals.
"Hello there, I thought I was the only one here." I greeted, starling the Pegasus.
"It's alright, who might you be?" the young Pegasus asked, turning around towards her.
"I'm Musical Love, new to the gala." I said to her.
"I'm.... Fluttershy..... Nice to meet you." Fluttershy and I shook hooves not knowing Blueblood was behind me.
"There you are, Musical. I wondered where you went. By the way, Princess Twilight would like to speak to you."
I sighed and turned around to see Prince Blueblood smiling.
"Alright, I'm coming. But first, this is Fluttershy." the unicorn prince bowed as well as Fluttershy.
"Did you say Twilight needs to speak with her? She's not far just with Applejack." Fluttershy gave directions.
I nodded and Blueblood took me to the purple princess.
"Hello, you must be Musical Love. May I call you Muse? I'm Twilight Sparkle." the purple alicorn bowed.
"It's alright, princess. You can call me Muse."
"Okay, Muse. Your mother informed me about your "condition"" Twilight sat in front of me.
"I know. She wrote a letter to you a couple weeks ago at your castle in Ponyville."
"So, you must remember that you can't fall in love otherwise it could mean your death."
"I know, doctors keep telling me that but I really want to." a tear came down my face.
"Twilight, what is the "condition" you speak of? And also, anything else?" I had forgotten Blueblood was waiting beside me.
"Blueblood, I was told not to say anything to anypony else. And that's about it. Just remember, Muse, I'm always in Ponyville in case you need me."

Getting Trapped in My Own Home
After an odd night at the gala, I just spat onto my bed at home, extremely exhausted.
"Sweetheart, be careful. Remember what happened last time you spat onto your bed?" my mother worried.
All I did was just roll my eyes, my mother is a real worrier, that's one reason I'm supposed to live with her.
"Oh, and Muse? Don't forget that you have a meeting with royalty tomorrow afternoon. I love you." my mother kissed my forehead and closed the door.
I sat up and looked out of my window.
I loved to look at the stars from my window, which gave a fantastic view.
I started to humming to myself one of my favorite songs of all time: I Am Just A Pony.

I continued to sing the song to myself as the night went on.
I actually went to visit my cousin, Applejack, and went to see the Countess Colortura concert and got unexpected results.
Ever since that concert, I've become a big fan of her and the fact I'm related to her best friend is so cool.
The Next Morning
I awoke from a nice slumber only to see the prince I met last night watching me.
"Ahhh! How'd you get in here and how'd you find out where I live!" I screamed, Blueblood rubbing his ear.
"I may or may not followed your carriage home and hid in your closet all night."
Who would've that a vain prince was also a stalker, talk about seriously creepy in a way.
"Since we're the only ones here, I can have you to myself." Blueblood gave a creepy smile and I gulped.
I yelped as Blueblood started touching my messy mane when he could tell I DIDN'T like it at all.
But it was not only weird that he was in my house, but he locked my house's door!
My mother isn't going to be happy.

Everypony thought that I was just an average unicorn: stubborn yet fancy, sophisticated, and vain.
That wasn't the truth, ponies just decide to assume rather then just ask.
Although, it wasn't like I was going to tell anypony anyway.
Nopony should know what I had hidden inside, especially when it could affect my whole life.
It felt so weird to have met him at the gala but eventually became friends with him.
He seemed so rude and vain, despite that my personality is completely opposite to this.
Who would expect to believe that he would be the perfect match for me.
Oh, sorry, I'm Musical Love, a unicorn who lives in Canterlot.
I'm such a big fan of love, as so my name says.
I was born with a special kind of cancer that's quite hard to explain but, I can't afford to fall in love.
But, as much as I tried very much not to, I ended up falling for someone I never thought to imagine.
With a little help from our heroes of Equestria, I find out there's a way to fall in love despite the consequences.
Anyways, I'm a unicorn, as it said a bit ago.
I'm kind of turquoise with a light blue mane with lime green streaks.
My cutie mark is a bunch of musical notes with hearts attached.
My purple bow matches my grape violet eyes, at least that's what he says.
It's hard to believe that when I first met them all at the gala, I would've thought my life would've stayed the same.
But I love my friends and my family, but I struggle to know how I can when I could possibly die.
My little sister, Night Dreams, really needs me after all that she's been through.
My mom, Silver Swirl, doesn't know what to do because of me AND my dad.
And most importantly, my father, Red Jack, has gone way too far this time after what happened a couple weeks ago.
But what about me?
And what would he say if I just suddenly died without complete reason?
I really wouldn't want to do that to anypony.
My cousins Applejack and Big Mac would be heartbroken since I'm one of their closet cousin when their parents died.
Alright, now I must tell you all the truth.
And what really happened since that one night where it was all changed all so suddenly without entire reason.
