Colour of My Eyes

Sweetie Belle couldn’t help but stare into her reflection’s eyes.  There was one thing she had never understanded, no pony in her family has ever had green eyes and yet, somehow, she managed to get them.  She had tried to search on the Ponynet for any disorders that may have caused this, but no luck.  She keeps wondering, and she couldn’t take it anymore.  Despite feeling like this, she couldn’t bring herself to ask her parents, she doesn’t know how they will react if she asked them why she broke their history of blue-eyes.  Sweetie sighed on her bed,  completely tired out from the adventures she had with her fellow Cutie Marks (Not-So) Crusaders.  She can’t take this anymore, she trotted over to Rarity’s room and gently knocked on her door.

“Um… Rarity?” She called

“Yes, Sweetie?” Rarity replied

“Do you know why my eyes are green?”

“N-no, w-why would you ask that?”she stuttered

“Oh, that’s fine Rarity, bye.” Sweetie farewelled, leaving the door to Rarity’s bedroom wide open but Rarity didn’t care, her sister was upset for not getting an answer and she is about to fix that.

~The Next Morning~

“Ugh!  Give it a rest Rarity! I need more sleep!” Sweetie shouts

“It’s time for breakfast, and there’s somepony I would like you to meet.”

“FINE! I’ll get out at six thirty in the morning.”

After finally getting herself to look presentable, Sweetie Belle trotted out of her room and into the dining room where a stack of Bon Bon’s famous chocolate chip pancake were waiting for her. As she started to dig in she remembered what Rarity.  “Oh yeah, who do you want me to meet again, Rarity?”

“You’ll see when you get there, darling.”the alabaster mare replied with a wink.

~The Night Before~

“Wha’cha waking me for, Rares?”Applejack questioned over the line

“I want you to show Sweetie her father tomorrow, dear”

“Okay, but why?”

“Just do it, Applejack.”

“‘kay, just drop by tomorrow and Ah’d take her. Ah gotta go now, bye Rarity.”
