As far as I could remember, I always wanted to be a gangster. Besides the obvious money making possibilities that came with a gangster career, the lifestyle itself just seemed so romantic to me. My dad would show me mafia movies such as "The Godfather" and "Goodfellas." I didn't want to live like the average American stooge, who's routine in life is as follows: Get a job. Go to work. Get married. Have children. Follow fashion. Act normal. Walk on the pavement. Watch TV. Obey the law. Save for old age.
Yeah, sorry. That lifestyle just wasn't for me. I knew I would have my day, of course. When you live this lifestyle you're rarely expected to come out alive. But hell if I wasn't going to go out without a fight. Its better to burn out than to fade away, wouldn't you agree?
So, with the help of some connections, I joined the Scarfo crime family and made my way through the ranks.
