In a faraway land named Aymelek, a tragic accident has accrued. The Sun Gem has been damaged and the only one who can restore the Crystal to its full glory is Celestia. The reason for this accident is a young stallion, Keenan Tannim. He must now travel the land from his home in Corenest to Equestria with his assistant Apex or be forever exiled. The journey will not be easy though, no journey ever is. It will have its up and downs and along the way, he will have to face each one the best he can. But when an ancient evil awakens, will he have the power to stay safe? The Crystal gave the Crystic's light for the day and protection at night. Keenan will learn not all myths are just that, myths.

A/N: This story was the first idea I had before my other fic. There will be chapters that involve dramatic content and others with comedy and relaxed settings, so be warned. This isn't a straight up tragic tale, but it is revolved around the event and then smaller events.
