Daffodil Spark is Russ, a pony born in the most isolated corner of Equestria, raised in a small, unknown and frozen town as far away from the capital as you can come. BUT, she is also the latest student that have entered the Equestrian students exchange program, hoping for it to take her away from home and to something new and exciting. And exciting it will get, when this girl who’s seen nothing but snow and ice all her life get introduced the beautiful town of Ponyville.
