Companion of the Doctor pt.1
This is how it all began.The wars against the Doctor and his lifelong friend.
In the world of Equestria there was once a mare who studied with Princess Celestia but ran away and was trapped in this world.
Her name is Sunset Shimmer. For several days she was stuck here in the "human" dimension alternative to the universe she came
from.
After a long day at Canterlot High, Sunset Shimmer thought about walking in the woods,not that far from the school, since she
had no where else to go. After several hours of walking aimlessly in the woods, she began to hear several footsteps coming from
behind her. She asked herself:
-could someone be following me?-
She started running just in case and sure enough there was running behind her. Someone or Something was definateley following
her and she didn't want to stop and find out who it was. Running seemed like the best option for her. A voice spoke in her head,
creepily, saying:
-RUN, YOU HUMAN FOOL, RUN AND YOU WILL LEAD US TO HIM-
She was confused.She was distracted about who the voice in her head was talking about. Who was the HE? Though she was so deep
in thought, that she didn't think about looking forward.
[BAM]
She hit something. Once she looked she took notice about what it was that she hit her head on. It was something made of wood.
She looked up and what she saw ,she couldn't believe. Right in front of her was a Blue Box. A blue police box. Someone soon
opened what seemed to be a door in the box. There, above Sunset, stood a very old man who was seemingly in his 90s or 80s.
It took a while for him to notice that she was on the ground in front of him.
"Oh,well[hehe], um hello,"he said lending a hand, to pick her up.
Sunset took his hand and he helped her up.
"Thanks."
"Your very welcome, young lady, can you please tell me what you were doing in front of my box?"
"I was just leaving, it's only that I was running around and hit your "box thing" and was knocked down."
Then snarling came from behind Sunset.
"Also, I don't think I told you that I was being followed?"
They turned to see three men wearing black hoodies facing them.
"DOCTOR, YOU WILL COME WITH US ALONG WITH YOUR ASSOCIATE."
"I will have you know that, this young lady here is not my associate, I only ran into her when I found her outside of my box."
"LIES, WE KNOW YOU, DOCTOR, YOU HAVE HAD ASSOCIATES BEFORE AND YOU MAY BE LYING TO SAVE HER."
The old man put on his poker face and stared at them for a good long minute before speaking again.
"I can tell what you are, and I don't mind if you show yourselves right now."
He then turned to Sunset.
"Young lady, are you squeemish?"
"No,why?"
He then turned back at the men.
"OK, You can show your true forms now,Vorodites."
At the mention of that name the three men started to gurgle and they opened their mouths. Once they opened their mouths, out
came what seemed to be a small skull connected to the body.
"WE ARE THE VORODITES NOW YOU WILL COME WITH US DOCTOR."
"You fell for it, and now you've weakened yourselves by trying to leave your bodies to show what you really look like!"
The man then pointed his ring at them.The ring started to Whirrrr.
"DOCTOR,[SCREEEEEECH] WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?!"
He then turned to Sunset and told her one phrase:"Follow Me If You Want To Live"
Without hesitation she followed the old man.She turned to see the Vorodites running at them.
"Mister, would you mind hurrying up please?"
"Girl, would you mind not telling me what to do, I know what to do!"
The door opened and they stepped inside. Once inside, Sunset could not believe her eyes.
"Young Lady, could you please help me here?!?"
Sunset ran to him. He pointed to what he needed her to do.
"Hold onto that lever and don,t pull it down until I give you the signal."
"What is the signal?"
"You will know it when you hear it."
The Vorodites where banging on the door. Trying to break down the door. From inside Sunset could hear what they were saying:
"DOCTOR, YOU CANNOT ESCAPE WHAT MUST BE DONE-----THE HIGH COUNCIL HAS CALLED UPON YOUR CAPTURE!!!!!"
The man replied in a way that seemed like if he was reciting a line from a play.
"Then tell the High Council this: Not Today!NOW!!!"
Sunset then pulled down the lever and the place they were in seemingly wooshed away.
Sunset was breathing hard.
"Young lady, why are you still breathing like that?"
Sunset couldn't speak. She was just stuttering
"It's......It's......BBBBBBB.."
"Oh, for the universe's sake spit it out!"
Sunset then said it.
"It's Bigger on the Inside!"
The man looked at her like if she finally noticed.
"Is that all? I thought you were going to ask me about those things out there,miss...um...What's your name?"
She replied, though still breathless.
"Sunset Shimmer."
The man shook her hand.
"Welcome aboard, Sunset Shimmer, My name is the Doctor it's very good to meet you."
"Thanks, but can you tell me about what's going on?"
The Doctor looked at her like if she was dumb or something like that.
"What is happening is that I'm being hunted down from aliens from outer space named Vorodites..."
"I think I already know what they are called."
He then shushed her.
"As I was saying, the Vorodites have been sent by the High Council of my home planet to take me to them and now they think you
are my accomplice."
Sunset looked confused.
"What do you mean about them thinking that I am your accomplice, what will happen if they see me with you?"
"You will be shot on sight if they see you with me, that's what I mean."
The Doctor started pressing buttons and switching levers, the ship started to wheeze and move.
"Oh, and we are inside the TARDIS which is my ship by the way."
The TARDIS thumped.
"Aha, we're here!"
Sunset followed him outside of the TARDIS. Once outside, he closed the door.
"I have a question, Doctor."
"Well then, ask away."
"Where are we?"
The Doctor didn't get a chance to answer, before a gun was pointed at his head.
"YOU WILL COME WITH US!"
NEXT TIME:WITH THE DOCTOR AND SUNSET CAPTURED BY THE MALICIOUS VORODITES, THE WORLD IS IN PERIL OF DESTRUCTION AS THE VORODITES REVEAL THEIR TRUE PLAN.
