Chapter One:Comet
An explosion was heard in the Everfree Forest but no one was around. Does that mean it wasn't real? Well... It was, and someone was there. This person... This pony was unnatural and different. Whoever he was he probably new to these parts.
Wooooooow that was a ROUGH landing! I didn't expect to just fall out of the sky like that. I usually fall on another person, which in fact if much more pleasant than falling on the ground ESPECIALLY if I'm falling from more than a couple miles above ground.
NOW!!!!! Time to make a base and or headquarters. Time to clear some space.
~With a flash of light the mysterious pony cut down all the trees in a large area and made a reasonably sized modern looking cottage. Modern yet cozy.~
Aaaaaaaaaand done! Wow this place really came together nicely. And now time for a well deserved rest.
~And like that the stallion from the stars took a nice long nap.~

Epilogue: Fire Up!
Today is the anniversary of when I was gifted with an amazing power and cursed with a great burden.
It has been a long time since I've had a normal life but it feels good to help other. I've crossed many dimensions saving worlds from a great evil that has plagued me ever since my new live came into reality. Ever since the day that a star fell in front of me and I felt it with my own hands I vowed to do everything in my power to protect the good and innocent from evil. That was also the day "he" showed up in my life and in the universe. He has followed me and I have followed him to keep him from hurting others. He is my shadow. No. He is the evil that feasts on others misery and the pain that disturbs all life as we know it. He kills and grows stronger to try to end me but if my life ends he will take over. He will rule over all and cover all the light with a vail of darkness and hate. That's why I can't die even if I wanted to.
It's been a long journey but friends made it easier. Like me they too have been gifted with special powers unknown to average mortals but unlike me they can die and they aren't cursed to hunt down an evil menace for the rest of their infinite lives. They do help.
They keep me sane.
They keep me from being alone.
They fuel the fire in my soul.
Speaking of, that power I mention before, mine is fire. We each have our own element and mythical creature that is connected to our soul. My soul is fire and the creature that I use. No. My friend. No. The creature I am is one of fire and a creature that never gives up, especially on his friends. You probably figured it out already but if you haven't you'll see soon enough. Just wait.
With that explanation out of the way time to get to business. What business you ask. Well I've followed the darkness to this dimension. A dimension full of "ponies" that parallels one of humans. "He" has come to this dimension for a reason and I need to find out what that reason is before it is too late. I've researched this dimension a lot lately and the words "friendship" and "harmony" have come up a lot.
Whatever this means, I will stop him and save everyone.
