Author's Note
I'm sure this is going to be a total failure of a story, but I did my best :D I'm not sure if I should make Kratos good, or keep him as the killer he is. What do you guys think? Also, none of he characters listed appear in this chapter, except Kratos. I know this is the type of story you cant just go and write randomly. The first game was voted the BEST game for ps2, and its legacy continues into three more perfectly made games of greek mythology, which you've gotta know a lot about befoere you can just start writing. Luckily we're learning about greek mythology in my ELA class and i do play god of war so i hope i do good with this Currently fixing mistakes
God of War Gone Pony
It was all a whirr to me. All of those years I wrought torment, pain and anguish upon Mount Olympus. I've gone and killed the gods. All of them. Poseidon, Hades, Zeus, my father, and Callisto, my dear mother. Many other men with big names and powers stood no hint of a chance against my...vengance. My mind was black for what my father had done to me, it had driven me to destroy my world, and I left it in ruin, to fufill my one task. To kill Zeus. It wasn't until after I saw the aftermath of my actions, had I gained a change of heart, and with The Blade of Olympus, I made one final kill. And as I began to fade from the remnant of the very fabric of existence, it all came back to me...
I had been the one to be given the task by Athena from Zeus to kill Ares, who had fooled me into killing my wife and daughter. It had been a long raging battle, and in the end I prevailed, and rose as the new God of War. Death was all that was left in my wake. Ares was dead, and I had fufilled my fathers orders. Sadly my triupmh was in vain, for Zeus had betrayed me. He stripped me of my powers, nad made the attempt to end my life. Much to my despise, I had been saved, by mother earth herself. Gaia. With her help, she aided me in gaining my taste for revenge I had for Zeus. Like before, I was victorious, and little did I know the cost of my doings, thus, Olympus was no more...

I thought it was over. I thought I had brought an end to my lingering anguish, by leaving a gaping hole in my body from impaling myself with The Blade of Olympus. Again, fate had chosen a different path for me.
My mind was fuzzy as I was slowly gaining the conciousness I had first thought to have lost forever. My eyes cracked open, my body weak, trying to gather any energy somehow. I could hardly move a muscle. I felt as if I had been dropped again from Mount Olympus, weak and broken. Why am I still alive? Why am I still here?
I strained my eyes to see in the light of day, but all was a blur, and from the feels of it, I appear to be laying on grass. A low moan escaped my lips as I sat up. The faulties of my actions replayed over and over in my head. Mad, driven by rage and power I had brought all of the greatest powers to death. I had no goal. No motive, nothing. Just the end of my father. Now on my hands rest the blood of all the gods, goddesses, and the titans. There was nothing left. Many died in the wake of my anger, which I had no control over.
I gave a long sigh of defeat. Never will I forget those words Pandora told me.
"Hope is what makes us strong! It is why we are here! It's what we fight with when all else is lost."
My ignorance led me to disregard her encouragment, and she too died because of me. I carelessely let go of her hand as the powers Pandora's box pulled her in. Her face had been a mix of many expressions in one. Happiness, sorrow, anger, and I saw nothing of it at the time.
I went to wipe the night's tiredness from my eyes, where instead of a hand making contact with my eye, it was a hard object. Confused, I pried my eyes open. It was not a hand I saw. It was more of a round, flat, hard surface. I stared my right hand for a moment in slight shock, to find it attached to my arm which had been covered in white fur. Only it was no longer a hand, but a hoof. I have seen many a things in my life, so whatever I must have turned into would be irrelevant to those things I have seen.
I came to the discovery that I still wore my armor, or what little of it I usually wore. The only real defense I had was the Golden Fleece on my arm to protect myself from attacks and projectiles, and force them back at the attacker. The Blades of Exile, my main weapon to Destroy Zeus, rested upon my back.
I gave a quick look over myself, and soon regretted it. I don't need a mirror. I know what I am, and what I've become. Being quadruped, and barely three feet tall when standing on all fours, with major equine features, it's not hard to guess. The god of war, and destroyer of Olympus and all of Greece, had committed suicide, and now finds himself in a ponified version of himself. I had a messy black tail, a coat of white fur, with the red markings going through it like stripes.
The sound of flowing water pulled me from my thoughts, and with what little energy I had, I rose to stand up on just my hindlegs. It had been a sad first attempt. I had still been weak, with little to no energy, I collapsed. I landed on my frontside, along with a mouthfulll of dirt. With a heavy groan, I spat and stood again, using a tree to lean on for support. Somewhere to my left, was a slow flashing blue light.
I began to move towards it, using foreign legs, with a foreleg against a tree, and the other across my abdomen. The failure to end my life left behind a massive amount of pain. It left quite the scar, to replace the old one. I hoobled slowly over to the tree where the light had been coming from behind of. Twigs and leaves crunched beneath my hooves. The trees seemed to have faces, probably meant to scare anything away, and the branches appeared to be reaching out to me as the wind whistled through the leaves.
I peeked around the tree, and there against it laid my prize. A slow pulsating blue light illuminated from the large sword, with an occasinal spark. The very weapon used to kill me, Zeus, Chronus, and me again after I tried to use it to end my life, which would explain the new scar over my stomach. I reached down for it, my left hoof making contact with it. I came to the sudden realization that hooves can't grab things. So I improvised. I tried using both my front hooves, but still it slid from my grip. I wrapped my forelegs around the handle, but it's weight and my low strength ended up with it falling, bringing me with.
Another groan escaped my lips. I guess carrying it isn't going to work. I thought for a moment, placing a hoof under my chin, softly rubbing my goatee in thought.
"Grrrrrrr...." came the sound of a low growl from behind a pair of rustling bushes. A pair of yellow glowing eyes appear from behind, followed by two more pairs.
I smirked. Even with how weak I am, whatever is behind those bushes will stand no chance.
"Show yourself!" I roared, my incredibly loud and deep voice makes the ground shake slightly as I stood once again on my hindlegs. The growling continued, and more pairs of eyes appeared from behind the bushes, and I soon found myself losing confidence. I took a step back, not even bothering with my blades, since I could no longer use them anyway. My hoof landed on a twig. It snapped, and as if it were a signal, one after the other, several large wolf like beasts sprung forth, claws extended, reaching for me.
I stood my ground, and I thrust a hoof up, delivering a deadly blow to the jaw of the beast. I may be unable to use my weapons, but that may be true, but Spartans like me are trained to make our fists just as deadly as our blades. My hoof passed straight through the creature's head, making it splinter and crack, telling me these creatures must be made of wood. It beast sill had some fight left in it as his commerades watched, srrounding me from all sides.
The beast attempted to bite down, but it had been a fruitless attempt. With a roar, I flung him into another wolf, knocking it over. The one I had punched lay limp on the ground, but the other one was quick to get back to its paws.
"You dare to face me!? I will end your lives within the fraction of a second!" I shouted as a warning. They only growled in response, moving forward, closing in, heads low. Their eyes showed no mercy for they were here for the kill. SAdly for them, they had no idea what they were up against.
Another one pounced. A smirk made its way across my face as I moved out of the way. He slammed right into the tree behind me. I grabbed him, slamming his head into it hard enough to where his head went into the tree with a loud smack. As another bounded its way for me, I pulled the wolf from the tree, tearing its head off in the proccess, and as the other wolf neared, I slammed the one in my arms down onto it. He died in an instant, baing flattened, nearly into nothing.
I counted five wolves left. They barked in anger, confident to bring me down, but today is not that day, nor will it ever be. At once, they all jumped at me. I flared The Wings of Icarus, and with one powerful flap, I rose above them leaving them to smash into each other, cracking, snapping, and crunching. Their heads were literally put together, and broke easily like glass from the impact. I came back down, staring at what I've done, satisfied I had flawlessly killed a pack of wolves with not even as much as a scratch on my body.
Then came the sound of whimpering as one tried to stand, looking to me for mercy. I stepped closer. He backed away whimpering more, knowing it was wrong to fight me, and knows his life is seconds from being over. I decided why not put it out of its misery? I had backed him up into a tree, he cowered, pleading forgiveness. I stared at him, seeing the terror in his eyes, and the fear burning in his soul. That's all I've done my whole life. Was kill, just to get to one man. I had killed so much, it became a normal thing for me to do. I saw no regret in who I killed, but joy from doing something I enjoyed doing.
I bent down to him, lifting his chin for him to look at me. I studdied him. He dared not move a muscle, for I knew he feared a single twitch may be the end of him. He only whimpered, pleading, and begging. He's learned his lesson, and I need not kill him for he knows he was wrong. I stood.
"Get out of here. Before I change my mind." I said softly. He must have understood by how fast he was to run away, stopping to look back once.
I sighed heavily, suddeny regretting killing the others. They did nothing to me for me to have to kill them. Yes they tried to kill me, but I should have only scared them off, but my killer instinct still lingers. I was born to kill some have told me, but was that all I was meant for?
I shook the thought away and made my way back to the sword that lay on the ground. I once again found myself with the impossible task of just picking the thing up. After five consecutive minutes of failure, I slumped down to the ground next to it, but it wasn't long before my slowly dehydrating body began to beg for water. As my last means of moving the blade, I took the handle in my mouth and drug it along the ground to the source of the river.
I gazed into it, seeing my new reflection for the first time. Two pointy ears stuck out of my head, my eyes were very large, so large in fact it slightly scared me. The scar over the right eye was still there, but now it looked only like a thin gray line. My goatee protrueded still from the end of my muzzle, and the red stripes and marks still adorned my body.
"Pony..." I muttered, still gazing at the image of my new quine face. With a sigh, I got down on all fours and lowered my head to drink.
I had to lift my head sooner than I had anticapated since there was the sound of foosteps nearing, followed by whimpering. The wolf was there again.
"Didn't I tell you to leave?" I asked.
The wolf whimpered still, head low, and tail between its legs. He stepped closer, and from his mouth came a heap of meat. He nudged it with his nose, causing it to roll in my direction.
"Uh...no thanks..." I nudged the slime covered poultry back to the wolf, only for him to nudge it back. Knowing he probably wouldn't give up, plus the fact I was hungry, I took the meat. "If you insist." I didn't even try to pick it up. I simply lowered my head and took a bite, the drool I realized was just tree sap, and tasted like syrup. I savored the bite, chewing gracefully. It was enjoyable until I swallowed. Seconds later I found myself hacking, and vomiting into the river.
I snapped my head around after finishing, giving the wolf an evil glare. He whimpered still, backing away from me. I wiped my chin, and my stomach churned. Slowly the wolf approached me again, getting to be within arms length. I had a feeling he was trying to apologize as he began to lick my cheek. Unless he's taste testing me.
"You have apologized, now rid me of your presence, mutt!" I hollered at him.
Once again, he was swift to leave the area, leaving me in peace once again. Now to try and find a way to hold my blades...
