A New Prince
"Omigosh! Omigosh!" Twilight was jumping up and down all around the circle of white thrones, each with her friends cutie mark on them. Beside the one with her cutie mark, a pink 6 pointed star, was a smaller throne for her dragon assistant,Spike. As she circled around, she levated a scroll that spike had previously burped out. Spike rolled his eyes.
"What is it this time? Is Princess Celestia going to give you another stack of books? Last time Celestia sent that whole stack of books and my back was sore for a week!" He put his claw to his back to emphasis. Twilight stopped jumping around and stood in front of him.
"Thank you for your help with that by the way. I just couldn't wait to read Starswirl's autobiography!" She smiled as she looked at the Navy book that lay on her throne seat. It had a magenta bookmark neatly tucked into chapter 14 (that's where he talked about his first spells).
"But," Twilight continued "this is not a stack of books, it a trip to the Crystal Empire!" Twilight resumed her joyful bouncing. "CADENCE IS HAVING HER BABY TODAY!!!!!!!!!" she practically screamed.

Twilight was so ecstatic on the train ride to the Crystal Empire. She would not stop talking about the fun she and her new nice or nephew would have.
"I hope they have a unicorn! Then i can teach it magic! Or maybe a pegasus so i can fly with it!" Twilight was overjoyed
"But... wouldn't the new foal be an alicorn? Because Cadence is an alicorn." spike said as he purchased a bag of gems from the snack cart.
"Well, no, because Cadence was first a pegasus. Therefore the alicorn gene is not in her DNA."
Spike stared at twilight blankly. "DN-what?"
"Deoxyribonucleic acid. It's what makes you look like you." Twilight said as she pointed a hoof twards Spike.
"Thanks for the science lesson" Spike said sarcastically as he rolled his eyes and shoved a clawful of gems into his mouth.
Twilight opened her mouth to reply but she was interrupted by the screeching brakes of the train.
"Now arrived at the Crystal Empire Train Station" the conductor called out.
Ponies crowded around the train door to leave. Spike hopped up onto Twilights back just as Twilight moved forewards only to be pushed away by a pale blue stallion with a maize colored mane. Spike cleared his throat and yanked open the purple princess's wings for everyone to see.
"Oh, sorry Princess." the stallion said quickly. He dropped to the floor in a bow and everypony else followed.
"Please let me get that for you." said a pink unicorn with a brown and blue curly mane.Twilight blushed as the unicorn opened the door for her.
"Spike," said Twilight through gritted teeth, "I told you not to do things like that! It embarrasses me!"
"Sorry." spike said.
