The first meeting

Celestia sat in her room, looking over her many papers and things she had to sign. Most of them were letters from other regions of Equestria sent by the officials. She was sending them replies about their requests to meet with her and talk over political affairs. The other letters strewn about the room were the letters she has received from Twilight. There was a separate pile for them for Celestia liked to keep things organized in her own way.

Celestia let out a heavy sigh. She disbanded the magic she was using to make the red and gold quill write out it's words. She had been writing a good 3 hours. It was now about 4 in the afternoon. She yawned and got up and stretched her limbs. 'Well...I have been doing this for a while...might as well go take a walk...' She thought to herself as she headed for the door to her room. Her horn glowed it's usual gold hue. The door opened for her and she glided through it gracefully. She shut her door behind her and walked down the long hallway that lead to the main hallway were she then turned down another hallway that lead the royal gardens. She used her magic once again and opened the glass doors. A warm, spring breeze met her and kissed her face as she walked out into the garden. 'What a lovely day.' She thought to herself. The sun might have been low in the sky but the way it was positioned in the sky made the garden look just ravishing. Celestia smiled lightly as she walked through the garden.

The soft, spring breeze blew passed Celestia every once and a while, Touching her face with a gentle Kiss from the wind. Celestia walked on. She looked at all the flowers in the garden. There were so many. Daisies, Roses if all sorts of colors, Carnations, Bird's of paradise, poppies, and even Celestia's favorite, Sun flowers. She was captivated but all the beauty her eye were be holding.

After a while, Celestia decided it was time for her to head back. She did have oodles of letters to reply too. However, something stopped her from going back inside the castle right away. Farther into the bushes from. what Celestia could see was something on the ground. She couldn't quite make out what it was and so she let her curiosity get the best of her. She walked over to were the object see had seen was. However, as she got closer, the object soon became a pony, or really, another Alicorn like herself. He was passed out on the ground.

To Celestia, this was a bit of shock. She had never seen a Male Alicorn before, let alone one with the same body type as her, even a bit taller. She looked the Stallion Alicorn over. He had a silvery coat and wore an amulet around his neck. On his head was a bronze crown. His shoes were bronze as well. Celestia wondered were he came from or how he got there. 'I don't know of any places that have a male Alicorn....and I know every land in Equestria.' She thought to herself. She looked back at the Alicorn before her. 'He must be injured....I guess it wouldn't hurt to take him inside and help him heal up...maybe I can get who he is when he wakes...' She thought to herself as her horn glowed a gold hue. A gold aura appeared around the blacked out Male Alicorn. He gently floated off the ground and into the air. Celestia made her way back inside the castle, careful not to make her precious cargo hit anything.

Celestia made her way to her room. As she walked past her guards, they greeted her with confused looks as they saw the other Alicorn being levitated though the hallway. Celestia payed no mind to the confused stares she got. After turning a few corners, Celestia had arrived at her room. She opened the door with her magic and went inside. She levitated the other Alicorn inside as well.

Celestia walked over to her bed and used her magic to set the Alicorn down gently in her bed. The gold hue around his vanished. Celestia sighed. ‘I hope he his alright…and wakes soon..’ As Celestia thought this, the Alicorn on her bed moved. Celestia sat on the floor and looked at him with a questioning expression.

The Alicorn awoke slowly. He yawned as he sat up. He then opened his eyes slowly. They were a brilliant shade of Blue. He looked around for a bit, trying to figure out where he was when his eyes landed on Celestia, looking at him with a questioning gaze. “Wha? Who…are you?” He asked.

Celestia smiled lightly. “I’m am princess Celestia.” She said. Her pale, purple eyes sparkling. “Who might you be?” She asked in a calm voice.

The male Alicorn hesitated. “I’m….Prince Izar.” He said slowly.

Celestia’s smiled widened. “Well, welcome to Equestria.” She said. “Where are you from?” She asked as she turned her head the the side. Her flowing hair moving to fall over in front of her legs.

Izar looked at her and blinked. “I…don’t remember….all I remember is running away from something…”

Celestia looked at Izar with a curious gaze. “Really? Hmm…I know a memory spell…I could try it…”

Izar nodded. “I guess it is worth a shot.” Celestia nodded. Her horn glowed the gold hue and she closed her eyes. A small beam of light shot from her horn and touch Izar’s forehead. After and bit, the golden hue and beam dissipated.

Celestia opened her eyes. “Anything?”

Izar was quiet for a bit then shook his head, his black and gray mane shaking with him. “No…nothing…” Celestia sighed.

Izar looked around the room. “So…where is this place?”

Celestia’s smile returned. “This is my room in canterlot castle.” She said softly.

“I see….it is quiet roomy.” Izar said.

Celestia nodded. “Why thank you.” Izar nodded and got up and stood. There was a low sound of growling as he did so. Celestia chuckled. "You must be hungry...Come, I will get you some food." She stood up and walked toward the door. Izar followed behind.

Celestia lead Izar though the twists and turns of the castle to the kitchen. The chef ponies were hard at work when Celestia entered. They stopped and bow as soon as they saw her. The head pony of the kitchen walked up to her. "Your highness, what can we do for you?"

Celestia smiled at the Earth pony chef below her. "A small plate of food please for me and my friend here." She moved a bit to show Izar standing behind her. The Earth pony was a bit wide eyed. A Male Alicorn prince was never really seen before. After a bit, the chef realized he had been staring.

He looked back to Celestia and saluted her. "Right away, princess." He turned and started to order the other ponies in the kitchen to work.

Celestia smiled and turned back to Izar. "Come, I'll take you too the dinning hall." She made her way back to the door they had come in from. Izar nodded and followed.

They arrived in the dinning hall. Celestia lead Izar to a seat. "Here you go, the chef ponies show bring out some food very soon." She said as she made her way to her seat and sat down. Izar nodded at sat down as well. Just as Izar had taken his seat, the kitchen doors opened and the chef ponies came out, carrying two plates of food. They walked over and set it down in front of Celestia and Izar. The chef bowed before leaving the room. Celestia smiled. "Go on, eat up...you must be hungry." Celestia said to Izar. He looked at the food. It was true, he was hungry. Soon he found himself eating everything on the plate. Celestia let out a small giggle. "I knew you were hungry."

Izar slowed his eating and nodded. "I guess I was...." He let out a small chuckle as well.

Once all the food was eaten and the plates taken back to the kitchen to be washed, Izar turned to Celestia. "Ce-er Princess Celestia-"

Celestia cut him off. "Just call me Celestia, No need for formalities."

Izar nodded slowly. "Celestia....is there a place where I can go to study on this land you call home?" He asked.

Celestia nodded. " I can take you to the royal library." She got up from her seat. "Come, this way." Izar got up form his seat and followed.
