It was a plain and boring day in the castle of the "Princess of Friendship". Even Discord couldn't get used to that title yet, so he didn't blame Twilight for her stress. But did she really need to stay up TWO WEEKS STRAIGHT ?!! Discord looked around. The crystal walls and floors were practically bare, with the occasion of a poster of the Wonderbolts or two. The crystalline floors were polished so that you could see your very reflection. And he didn't like that at all, it at least needed a little chaos. He was sure even Twilight wanted something like that to make her castle look more like a home rather then a lion's cave. Sadly, if Fluttershy caught him doing anything to disturb the peace and stress out Twilight more, she would disapprove. AANNYYTTHHIINNGG BUT HER DISAPPROVING EYEBALLLSS!!! Fluttershy and the others took notice of Twilight's lack of sleep, and all of them were too busy to make time in their schedule for getting her to rest. Leaving Discord the pony for the job. Discord tried everything in the book, spells, trances and even warm milk, but Twilight would always jerk back up awake. So now, he was actually going to try reading a book with her.

The various windows were open allowing sunlight to come through and beam apon seven thrones, in which one of the thrones were occupied by to figures. Twilight Sparkle was reading a book with saggy, violet eyes; her navy blue mane was pulled back in a bun, but due to neglect the pink and purple strands dangled on her lavender fur. The castle itself was a bluish-purple color, and was shaped like the tree of harmony itself, sharing the same crystalline structure. Despite the beauty of it all, it still felt like an empty, lonely place for Twilight. Therefore, she enjoyed the company of a certain draconaquus she would otherwise do anything to make go away. The mismatched creature was resting against Twilight's back, his long, furry, brown body a perfect pillow for the half asleep mare. Discord's long, gray- almost giraffe-like neck wrapped around Twilight's waist. His horse-like head consisted of two different antlers, one being an antelope's and the other being a deer. His dragon ears drooped around his slender face with a mis-matching pair (no pun intended ;3) of sagging,golden eyes to go with it. Discord's head was resting on the arm rest, allowing sleepy Twilight to stroke his short, black mane. Meanwhile, his long ( sorry I can't find another synonym for" long" so you might be hearing that word alot) red,scaled dragon's tail wrapped around the rest of Twilight's body providing a prop to the book they were reading. Twilight was too drowsy to hold the book up herself.

You would think these two were a couple if you saw them, but Twilight is known for cuddling up against things when she is tired, as Discord is known for invading personal space* as we as a community DEFINETLY already know* . Discord was getting tired himself and just realized that by trying to get Twilight to sleep for the last week, he had been losing sleep himself. He mentally cursed himself as he sneezed, Twilight's head jerked up wide awake. "Chaos cheese!!" But to Discord's luck her eyes closed once more and he didn't let a single breath till he heard the content sound of snoring. This was it! Twilight was about to fall asleep and Discord would get the nap he truly deserved. As Twilight 's head sank deeper into his brown fur, Discord got a whiff of the shampoo in her hair. It smelled like flowers, maybe lilies? Discord -as always- let his curiosity get the best of him as he got a couple of the dangling strands in her hair and sniffed them some more. Yep, no doubt about it that was definetly lilies. When Discord was certain Twilight was asleep, he gently picked her up and started to carry her through a grand hall of rooms.

The halls were the same material as the rest of the castle, but it seemed even more empty most likely due to the abundant amount of rooms that practically weren't even being used. That brought another idea to Discord's head. What if Twilight was so stressed because she felt lonely. Maybe instead of asking ponies to stay with her to keep her company, she just reads and organizes books, awaiting to be called by a map. Maybe since she's still new at this whole princess thing, she thinks she has to be perfect, or else she would have a bad reputation. That would explain why she hid her jelousy of her friends bonding with Discord. She wants to look perfect so maybe ponies will think of her as a princess who cares. Twilight was sort of known for being a lunatic if everything wasn't perfect, maybe she didn't want that sort of thing to happen as a princess or else other ponies might not look up to her. That or it was a nightmare... yeah right. Twilight Sparkle would never let anything like that get the best of her.

Discord's drowsiness was getting the best of him as he got lost in thought, he was wobbling down this loooong hallway as his green dragon leg and goat leg nearly kept tripping over one another. His navy blue bat wing and light-blue pegusas wing, normally folded neatly halfway down his long, brown body, were hanging limp. Discord's vision was getting blurry, due to his lack of sleep, and all he could think of anything else after a while but getting some sleep. Twilight nuzzled his lion paw and purred in her sleep. Discord smiled, she was just like a kitten, then there was a meow. The sound brought him back to focus as his ears pricked up. He looked around for a cat, he hated those things, but no creature was to be found. He kept walking (if that's what you even call it) down the hallway until the door with Twilight Sparkle's cutie mark came into view. Discord opened the door and was greeted with darkness. But snoring could be heard inside, dragon snoring to be precise.

Spike, before Discord, had tried to keep to help Twilight, but failed and fell asleep. As the draconaquus got further into the room he started to notice how big the inside was. Several wooden book cases could be seen though how many books were hard to make out. Discord didn't know if it was due to the lack of light, or his lack of sleep. Twilight's bed was big enough to comfortably fit ten ponies, its comforter was blue with a yellow star pattern on it. Most likely to preserve memories from her old home in the Golden Oak Library before it was blown up by Tirek. Discord only then realized how fluffy the bed was when he set Twilight in it. She sank in it until you could only see the tip of her cold, wet, black nose. Wait- COLD, WET, BLACK NOSE?!! Eh... it was probably his chaotic imagination playing tricks on him. The bed was scattered with fluffy pillows of different shades of yellow and blue.

Discord shut the doors with a snap of his lion paw, making it pitch black in the room his work was done, and now he could go home. He snapped his talon to teleport to his home, even though he knew it took a lot of strength and concentration . But when he was greeted by the cusion of his bed, he knew he was home. Discord closed his eyes and hugged his teddy bear close, and fell asleep

"HEY! DISCORD! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN TWILIGHT'S ROOM!" It was only a couple hours later when Discord awoke to Spike yelling and giving him a hell stare. The purple dragon's green spikes were standing on edge a bit more then usual. Discord at first was dumbfounded, and after his mind stopped being all discombobulated, realized he was definetly in Twilight's room, even worse though, on her bed. And his so called teddy bear was Twilight herself. He knew he was definetley in for it now, so Discord slid off it slowly hoping it would cause the confused baby dragon to calm down a little bit.

" I um.... "

"I DON'T NEED TO HEAR ANY EXCUSES YOU PERVE!!" Wasn't Spike a bit young to think wrong? Discord face palmed...er pawed..whatever. *Spike ruined the cute fanfiction by thinking wrong... a kids show my flank.* Twilight, due to the commotion woke up with panicked eyes. But there was something off about her. Her ears were rounder and more triangular. And turns out he wasn't hallucinating last night either , Twilight had a cold wet nose and as she got up, she had paws. Discord cursed himself.

" Chaos cheese!" He had probably been so tired, his magic did everything he didn't want it to. Darn chaos magic, you had to be up and at your best to master it. "Look, Twilight, I'm sorry, my magic just really wasn't at its best last night...... oh sweet mother of chaos, Spike stop looking at me like that!!"

"What!!? I'm big enough to understand what your saying.... and your lying... you have a crush on her don't you." Discord was scared of whatever the dragon was thinking, but didn't want to find out...Spike was a weirdo anyway. * Flash Centry is worse though

"Excuse me? Spike has anypony told you that you suck as a character?"

"Has anypony told you that your a perve?!"

"Why, thank you Spike, but don't you think I'm a bit more then that? And plus stop using that word... you'll ruin people's childhood."

"You mean, other then a lunatic, trouble maker and being of confusion? And I don't need to stop using any words...especially when they're about you!"

" Wow Spike you really do suck, even the bronies don't like you...and your a nerd too.."
Twilight meowed and purred, rubbing her bushy kitten tail on Spike, and hissed at Discord. Her tail was navy blue and had pink and purple ends.

"What's a BRONY?"

"I don't know, but they think you suck."

" JUST TURN TWILIGHT SPARKLE BACK!!!"

"Fine." Discord snapped his lion paw and Twilight turned back into her alicorn, only for her to sock him in the face with her lavender hoof. And with the best pokerface ever she simply stated

"You. Get. Out."

"Hey! You know how much work I did getting you to fall asleep?"

"I don't need sleep, now get out and leave me alone!"

"Mares." Discord muttered as he walked out of Twilight's room.

"What was that?"

"Nothing!"Discord shut the door and pouted. Not only was he not going to be able to tell Fluttershy he was able to help Twilight. But now he had to tell her that they were both mad at him. Why did these things always happen to him?

Well here it is, My first fanfic chapter! I'm sorry if I didn't develop Discord very well, but character development takes time, and certaintly cant be done in one chapter. So I hope you all like it?! Stay brony my friends! Until the next chapter.
