I headed to bed, still thinking about what happened earlier today. Chrysalis hiding her form to get a charm, maybe there was more to it, but that’s what I know. I turned over and fell asleep.

I was sitting down at my desk, then the place crumbled into darkness with the sound of buzzing. I looked around to see a bunch of solid eyes. A light from somewhere turned on to show that I was surrounded by changelings all pissed at me for taking control of their queen. I looked for an opening, but couldn’t see one, then they lunged to attack.

I bolted upright in bed with cold sweat dripping down my face. It was a dream. I sat up and sighed. I got up and got started on the charms.

In the morning, Robo came down and said that Chrysalis has returned to her kingdom with her charm. I nodded and said, “I guess that’s good. Come on, let’s clean up the house before Twilight gets here, I want the house to be clean before she gets here.”

Robo shook his head and said, “You don’t have to, mom and Luna are already getting it done.” I headed upstairs to see that they are cleaning up. They looked like someone fast forwarded them. I shrugged and headed to the bathroom to get ready to Twilight.

Twilight came a little after I got out of the shower. She wore a light green dress this time. I led her to the computer room and shut the door. She turned around and said, “May I request a few things this time around?”

I looked at her and said as I sat down in the chair by the computer, “Sure, what do you have in mind?”

She sat down across from me and said, “Well, you see Spike has been saying that I need to relax about working and overthinking everything. We were wondering if you could hypnotize me to help with that.”

I leaned back in my chair and thought about it. Then I said as I looked back at her, “I think I can do that, but it might not work since I never done that before.” She nodded and got comfortable the best she could in the chair. I sighed and said as I started swinging the watch, “Relax as you watch the watch swing back and forth, with each swing you feel more and more relax. Your eyelids are feeling heavy, let them close.” She closed her eyes and relaxed that she almost fell out of the chair. I continued as I place the watch down. “I’m going to count down from three and when I say sleep, you will go twice as deep. Three, two, one, Sleep.” I had to catch her before she fell flat on her face. I thought about what she wanted and said, “When you wake up, you won’t stress too much about working and won’t over think that anything drastic is going to happen if you forget something. Do you understand?”

She said in a sleepy voice, “yes, I understand.”

I said as I sat down, “I’m going to count to three, and you are going to be wide awake. One, feeling good, Two, feeling great, Three, wide awake.”

Twilight got up and said as she shook my hand, “Thank you for that. I’ll leave some bits on the table as a tip.”

I nodded and started working on the charms until I went to bed.

The day before my birthday, I finally finished the charms for Vinyl and Octavia. I headed upstairs and was about to head out the door when I noticed that no one in the house. I shrugged and headed towards Vinyl and Octavia’s house.

When I got there, I was about to ring the doorbell when I heard yelling inside the house. I stopped and thought about coming later, but it was too late when Octavia opened the door, yelling something about music and money. When she saw me, she quickly smiled and said, “Tinker, How are you. If you excuse me, I’ll have to cut this chat short.”

I nodded and said as I held out the box with Octavia’s charm, “Hey Octavia, I have something for you.”

She looked confused as she took the box and it changed to surprise as she opened it and saw the charm. Vinyl came out of the room with her DJ glasses on and said as she slung an arm around Octavia’s neck, “See, this is what I was buying, a charm for you.”

Octavia turned around and kiss Vinyl as she hugged her, then she said as they broke apart, “I’m sorry for getting mad at you.” Then she ran off.

Vinyl turned to me and said as she grabbed the money out and handed it to me, “Thanks, your timing was perfect, any later then I would have a problem. Here’s a bit extra for the time.”

I gave her the charm and left as Vinyl shut the door. I got home to see it was still empty. I grew more and more confused about it, but I decided that it was fine since it was my birthday tomorrow. I ate last night’s leftovers, which was carrot stew, headed downstairs, and went to bed.

I woke up to feeling two bodies on me, I opened my eyes to see Bon Bon and Button’s mom laying on top of me. I tried to jump out of bed, but I was being held down. When I looked at both of my shoulders, I saw Lyra on one side and Luna on the other, both were dressed in the maid outfits that I had in my closet. I said in a shaky voice, “Get off of me.” They got up and kneeled on the ground. I looked at my table to see a note with a controller and my earpiece there. The controller was different. It was the size of my fist, it was a dark blue color, and on the back said, “Chrysalis”. I looked picked up the note and it read,

“Dear Tinker, Happy Birthday. I’m sorry I couldn’t stay, I had to return home. I hope you like your present that in the computer room and in your room. I know you told me, but I couldn’t let it’s ability go to waste, use it however you want. Don’t worry about them, they will turn back into themselves tomorrow. So use them however you want until midnight.

Luna will return to her ruling-self tomorrow since she’s fine. I had to lock it for the time being so you couldn’t change her back.

From Robo. Ps, I left some money to get your shop that you wanted open.”

I read the note a few times, and each time I read it, it gets more and more unbelievable. Robo’s gone, he changed Luna, and this might be the reason why he bought the maid outfits. I quickly jumped out of bed, today is my birthday. Pinkie is going to know about my birthday and is going to want to celebrate it. If anypony finds about my present, I’m going to be yelled at or worse. I shove past Bon Bon and headed downstairs. I looked in the kitchen and lost my footing. On the table was a cake and Pinkie was kneeling in front of it, with a note in front of her. I got up and walked over to her, she didn’t move at all. I picked up the note and read,

“Oh, I almost forgot that I controlled Pinkie to come here to celebrate your birthday, but not to tell anyone else. She won’t remember any of this.”

I smiled and said, “Thanks, Robo.” I wiped a bit of the icing off and had a taste, it was amazing. I headed to the bathroom and got in the shower.

As I was getting out, I noticed a giant box in the computer room. The wrapping was striped with a green, and black color, and a note that read, “Mind is Gone.” I pulled the ribbon and the box fell apart. Standing there was Chrysalis, completely naked except for a ribbon wrapped around her. I looked in her hands to see a bag. I grabbed the bag and carefully looked in it. There were a few tens bits in it. I thought about how much I saved and it was more than enough to buy a building. I headed upstairs to have the best birthday ever.

I'm sorry about ending it and not having it feel complete. I was going to make it long, but I was running out of ideas. I'm going to write one chapter after this one
